Hotel Palazzo Cavalieri

Close to the old city. Paid parking nearby; or you can find a spot in the street for free if you park between marked lines. Rooms are clean and spacious yet sparse. The air conditioning worked but not well- reported this to the front desk but nothing was done. The public spaces in the hotel were much cooler than our room. Breakfast was good, the pastries were a real highlight. Overall the price was very high for what we got - so value not good.

We stayed two nights here and we only wish we had a few more days. The staff were extremely helpful and check in was very easy and our room was ready earlier than we expected. They gave us a lot of information regarding Ortiga, restaurants and things to do in general. It’s an easy walk from the train station and an easy walk into the old town which we did each day. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was beautifully presented and a delightful amount of options and all the food was freshly prepared.

Excellent stay at Hotel Palazzo Cavalieri. Comfortable room with a big window. Bathroom with a windo. No tea or coffee in the room but the kitchen was very happy to oblige. We left our room late one morning and they forgot to clean the room. It’s unbelievable how apologetic everyone was. They couldn’t do enough to make up. Good breakfast and extremely helpful staff in the dining room. A special thank you to the Venezuelan lady who made me a decaf coffee every morning and made sure that we had everything that we needed. If anything was missing she was happy to replenish. Very friendly staff at the front desk as welll. Overall excellent stay and good location too.

We spent an unforgettable four-night stay at the Hotel Palazzo Cavalieri and were never disappointed during our stay there. Being in Italy we didn't expect to have a good English breakfast. The cleanliness of the room and the greeting with a smile by the staff made us feel at home. I will recommend this hotel for sure and hope to be back in the near future!
