We were visiting Sicily from London for a wedding. This hotel was perfect for us for 3 nights, it's pretty basic but has everything you need. The rooms are comfy and modern compared to the other options in the area. The pool area is great and the barmen made us great cocktails. We hired a car so the underground car park was a great bonus. The receptionists were very helpful and you can walk 5 mins into town with lots of restaurant options.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at Malavoglia Inn Hotel I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Malavoglia Inn Hotel in Catania. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and helpful attitude. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. You even get your own fridge, safety box, and a tea kettle with all the essentials right in your room. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and close to local attractions such as Castello Normanno and more. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, with a full buffet offering plenty of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. I highly recommend Malavoglia Inn Hotel to anyone visiting Catania and will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
Relatively new (completely renovated in 2020) hotel. The hotel offers a comprehensive and tasty breakfast, including scrambled eggs and fried bacon. The cleaning service works and the hotel is very neat and clean everywhere. It is possible to reserve a parking space for your car in the hotel's basement for a separate fee. However, be prepared that the ramp leading to the basement is exceptionally steep and the parking garage is cramped. The hotel's location is quite good, but there is no sea view, as there is one building block between the hotel and the beach.
A comfortable stay. Close to the sea and Etna. Used for businesses (they have conference facilities). We stayed for two nights. This is a modern and expertly run hotel. The staff were professional, welcoming and excellent. The evening meal was perfect. As tourists, we visited Etna, walked along the local beach area. Very grateful for driving advice to use the highway to Palermo. Mille Grazie.
WHAT a weekend! The location of the hotel is a stone’s throw from the water. We went during Marti Gras and got to experience the festivities. The room was clean and the maids were thorough and considerate. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room, but that may have been a seasonal issue (February trip to the Acis). The service was exceptional. The desk was manned 24 hours; we never encountered any issues, it was very convenient. The service was incredible. Simone, the bar tender, poured generously, smiled big, and remembered my name. He really pushed the experience above the proverbial bar. One last comment about the food: Hotels never get eggs right, and Italian hotels seldom serve them for breakfast. These guys’ eggs were good enough for second servings. Can’t say enough about the place. Wonderful trip.
