Deeply disappointing—unusable spa and dismissive staff. Do not book here if you want to use the spa. There was absolutely no availability during the entire 4-day duration of our stay, which was incredibly frustrating given that the spa was the primary reason we booked this hotel. To make matters worse, the hotel staff did not care at all that this heavily publicized amenity was completely unavailable. It wasn't just us, either—while standing at the desk, we overheard the staff giving the exact same excuse to multiple other guests. We spoke with other travelers during our stay who also felt completely duped by the hotel's false promises of a spa, as no one could secure an appointment of any kind. If relaxation facilities and attentive customer service are priorities for your trip, look elsewhere.

Old heritage bank turned in to hotel = charm. Rooms old, but clean & spacious. Reception helpful. But the location is perfect for wandering the streets of Palermo. Safe. Close to restaurants & behind the hotel has a street with lots of cool wine / cocktail bars.
From the very moment you step through the entrance, it feels like you are living a unique experience. The hotel captures the perfect blend of Palermo’s rich history and timeless style, evoking the charm of a bygone era while embracing modern elegance and comfort. Every corner tells a story, yet the atmosphere remains fresh, refined, and welcoming. The staff are exceptional—attentive, warm, and genuinely dedicated to making every guest feel special. And the food is simply five-star: exquisite, beautifully presented, and unforgettable. A truly remarkable stay in the heart of Palermo.
Great location, nice rooms… and one unforgettable “Italian-style” night 🎭 The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center – you really can’t ask for a better spot. Everything is within easy reach, and the rooms are absolutely fine: clean, comfortable, and just what you need for a city trip. BUT… then came that night 😄 Apparently, there was some kind of event going on, and suddenly it felt like 50 talian girls had checked in at once. Full of energy, laughing, talking, and (it honestly sounded like) marching up and down the hallway. Sleeping? Well… let’s just say it became optional that night. I woke up several times and briefly felt like I was part of a very lively reality show. As a German guest, you can’t help but wonder (with a smile): are there no quiet hours in Italian hotels? Or is this just part of the authentic Italian experience? 😄 Conclusion: Great location, good rooms – but if you’re looking for peace and quiet, maybe pack some earplugs. If you want to experience real Italian life up close… you definitely won’t be disappointed!
Nice stay. Decent restaurant. Excellent breakfast with so many healthy choices including vegetables and orange juice that we can make using their juicers. Excellent service at the dining area. Not so much at the reception counter. They had live piano music at the common area on some nights. We stayed for 4 nights.
