The hotel is exceptional. It's comparable to several 5* I was luky enough to visit for work. The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are all extremely kind (they even waited for us until 23 for dinner), the breakfast is extremely good and complete. The dinner was exceptional and the price we paid for it was really a bargain. Probably one of the best hotels I've visited so far.
I want to thank all the staff at Baitan for making my stay so pleasant. The cleaners are helpful and efficient and chef does a superb job. Special mentions to Alida and Sofia on reception who are always busy multitasking. Both very cheerful and helpful. Thank you Sofia for the special cake!
We stayed in this beautiful hotel for only 1 night, but experience was great. Super friendly girl (bob cut, big black glasses) at the reception desk welcomed us very friendly and next morning greeted us with a smile while serving delicious cappuccino. Rooms are very clean, but the breakfast offer is exceptional. Highly recommend!
Nice hotel, a very good value for money. The rooms are clean, with toiletries and good shower pressure, the windows are isolating any outside noise. There's continental breakfast included with a wide selection both for salty and sweet things. The receptionists are very kind and helpful with anything you may need. Super sweet friendly & helpful staff! Every staff member was so nice. This really enhanced our stay. The location for us was perfect! It is only 10 minutes drive from the airport, has parking & has a 24hour front desk, so no stressing when it came to our late check in and early check out: the staff even made us up a bag of pastries for our very early flight when we had to leave before breakfast time! Within 10-20 minutes drive of this hotel there is SO much to do, Marsala is enchanting and a food lovers dream, there are Vineyards, salt flats, wildlife like flamingos, ancient ruins and more. Yes the hotel is not in the middle of the town, however, when we realised that most of Marsala is pedestrian and to park for most accomodations you need to use public parking around the edges of town, we decided that a hotel with it's own parking would make our trip easier. It is a very short drive to visit the town from the hotel so we didn't feel we missed out by staying outside of town. The hotel can arrange bikes for the nearby cycleway along the salt flats. And the big showers with good water pressure and endless hot water were appreciated by us but no doubt also by the wakeboarders who were also staying. Before arriving, I did worry a little that because the rooms all open to a central courtyard, that our room might be cold as we were visiting off season not in summer. This was not the case: room was a comfortable temperature with climate control. The dinner time food was tasty, however a four course set menu was maybe too much quantity wise for us after days out eating lunches in Marsala, so a lighter menu would have been good. There is also a pizza place next door. Breakfast buffet was good. Beds super comfy. Room had a fridge but no tea/coffee facilities: this was not a problem because there is staff 24hours so you can order coffees and hot chocolates from the bar whenever you like. Would stay again.
