If you enjoy privacy do not go here , we were in two rooms on the first floor ..outside the room was a ‘public toilet ‘ where anyone off the street coming to the restaurant had access to . Extremely noisy and disruptive at any time of day . There is no second lock on the hotel door so as a guest you cannot put in a safety lock the staff can access your room at any time . My daughter was asleep in the room next to us when I heard noise in the corridor (as it was open for public ) when I went to check on my daughter her room door was open and she was fast asleep with the dnd sign on the door clearly visible . The man at the front desk was extremely rude and obnoxious to me when I tried to get some clarification as to who opened her door and why , I sent an email to the hotel , no response to date . The breakfast was horrible , always cold and very limited choices . The location was central yes but the streets surrounding the hotel are extremely littered , slummy and dirty . Over all a very bad experience in Palermo with this hotel would not like another family to experience this

Most beautiful rooftop free breakfast buffet in Palermo! Due to last minute flight cancellations in Catania from strikes, decided to go to Palermo overnight and catch a flight. Found Hotel Ambasciatori near central. Nice high ceiling room with plenty of space. The morning breakfast before leaving was spectacular on the rooftop overlooking the old town. Almost did not want to leave. Best value for price, quality and location. Will highly recommend!

Me and my boyfriend went for a drink here, The view was beautiful, the wine was extremely expensive for Italy but listen the view is lovely. What really ticked me off is they charged SIX euro for 4 olives and a hand full of peanuts that we did not ask for. they placed them on the table, so we assumed they were free. In a common bar they are free - what a scam so dishonest

Loved this hotel! I stayed here on May 21, 2026. The room was clean and well kept. I loved the security access to the room when it’s after hours and you had to scan your room key to access your room level. The rooftop breakfast was amazing. I only stayed here from one night before transferring to another hotel with a travel group, but I wish we had stayed here. Thank you again for everything.
