Room is cozy and clean. Pool is disgusting because Pigeons are sitting on the edge and shitting inside it. Breakfast is ok. Parking free on the roadside.

The hotel is further away from the tourist the centre of Catania. The staff were friendly and helpful. Complementary bottle of wine at check out was a nice treat. Buffet breakfast was good. Pool not as fabulous as it look in their photos and not heated at time of visit. Was a waste of our effort booking a hotel with swimming which we can’t use.

Good hotel in Catania, friendly staff whom they speak both italian and english, clean rooms and up to date equipment. Breakfast is the typical Italian with various delicious pastries, has parking too.

Ive been in Sicily for a month carrying out research on behalf of my grandfathers regiment 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. I decided to spend the last 2 weeks of my time in Catania and chose to stay here. I was not disappointed my room was huge and spotless clean with a balcony to watch the sunrise each morning. Cleaning staff made sure my room was immaculate everyday fresh crisp bed sheets. 24hr Reception staff were super helpful and friendly. As I was packing light I needed laundrette service which the hotel dealt with easily returning my washing the next day. Free breakfast everyday and I even took the opportunity to eat there during the evening on several occasions. Kitchen staff were excellent the young lady who served me in the evenings spoke immaculate English always with a lovely smile made me feel welcome. The hotel is peaceful away from the city center which I enjoy . It's about 45 minutes walk into the center which gave me some much needed exercise. Excellent value for money and I had a free mini bar for my stay as an added bonus. I will be sad to leave as I really couldn't recommend a better hotel in Catania. Thank you Airone City Hotel for a magnificent stay
