Krka Waterfalls Half Day, Private Tour From Sibenik

Mirko was very organized and professional from the moment I booked the tour. He was always in communication to make sure everything would run smoothly. The transportation on our minibus was very comfortable for our group of 14. Mirko was very informative and provided a good overview of Croatia while on our drive. He didn’t rush us through the falls and found us a great spot in a small town that was not so touristy for a fabulous lunch.

Mirko was great we had a scheduling issue and he happily worked around it. He also took us to his favorite lunch spot which was awesome. During lunch he also gave us a little history about Croatia and his experience.

Mirko met us exactly where we planned. The vehicles were cool and spacious for our scenic trip to the Kyrka Waterfalls. Mirko shared his knowledge of Croatia along the drive as well as all the history and lore of the waterfalls and the park. The flora and fauna were unforgettable and Mirko knew the names of all the little creatures. He took us to lunch at a local spot were we had authentic hospitality, great local food and genuine smiles..the pride these team members take to create unforgettable moments.It is evident that exceptional service isn’t simply a standard here-it is part of the culture. Thank you Mirko and your whole entourage, we can’t wait to come back!

Our guide Mirko was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely flexible on our trip to the falls. It was an amazing day! it was a hot day so he let us stop to swim at the local beach, we wanted to return to split so he drove us personally there rather than us getting an Uber from the hotel, we also were interested in visiting a winery so he took us to a family-run winery for a tasting;)

Krka Waterfalls are absolutely beautiful! We ended up having a private tour based on or group size (6). Our guide, Mirko, was the best guide of all our tours during our vacation. He treated us like close friends. He was very knowledgeable of the park, took us on a leisurely stroll and pointed us to the best spots for photos. We then took a boat ride to town where he recommended we sample the local cake - yum! Mirko joined us for coffee and cake, drove us around Šibenik and gave us some advice for meandering on our own and how to get back to our ship. it was an absolutely wonderful afternoon. The town was immaculate, safe and clean. We did some shopping and grabbed a gelato and a baklava before heading back to the ship. Do not miss this tour if you are in the area. Thank you Mirko! You made our vacation.

We opted to change our tour from Krka to walking the historic center of Sibenik. We changed since we had visited Plitvice National Park the day prior. Mirko our guide was very understanding and accommodating. It was a beautiful day with Mirko as he shared his knowledge and love of Sibenik. We had wonderful stops along the way visiting the truffle store and cafes where we enjoyed the local wines and specialties of the area. Thanks again Mirko for the most beautiful day!

Beautiful park and excellent tour guide Mirko! Mirko had an abundance of local culture and history to share with us and took us to an authentic local Croatian restaurant.

My husband and I were visiting Sibenik for the first time and the falls are a must see. Mirko was extremely knowledgeable about the tour and about Croatia entirely. We had interesting conversation with him all day during our excursion. He was very attentive to our needs and offered excellent recommendations about future travels within the country. I would highly recommend this tour and look forward to our next opportunity to spend the day with Mirko!

Great experience, personally tailored to our needs/requirements and back up plan in place to deal with inclement weather for part of the tour. Our tour guide Veronica was incredible. She has a wealth of knowledge and expert English. Our driver was excellent too.

Nice vehicle for the fairly short drive to the oark. The falls are beautiful and the walk through the patk is east, thanks to the boardwalk. While not an exceptional day it was wuite calming and enjoyable. I suspect this one could be done without a guide if you desired.

We enjoyed an excellent day visiting Krka National Park with a wonderful and solicitous guide and driver Mirko. Our excursion was a day trip from a cruise ship anchored in Šibenik Croatia. Mirko was very knowledgeable about the natural wonders in the park. We began with a short walk down the river to view a series of crystal clear cascades. Then we continued with a loop hike on an elevated boardwalk that allows you to see a lot of small waterfalls, a beautiful forest, aquatic birds, and a surprise sighting (out of season) of a snake. The grand finale was a large wide waterfall that flows into a crystal clear pool. Then we stopped for a little lunch, and Mirko escorted us to a small excursion boat that continues down the river to the next town. While we were doing that, Mirko hiked back to the car and drove around to meet us at the end of the boat excursion. My husband walks slowly, and Mirko was extremely helpful to him in allowing him to complete the hike. He actually spent close to a full day with us rather than just a half-day. It was an excellent experience all the way around, and I would highly recommend it instead of doing a group excursion to this place.

Andreas was ready and waiting for us at the tender port before our agreed time he was a great guide with lots of knowledge of the area. The National Park was great with the access walkways and the waterfalls were spectacular at the bottom. The boat ride was lovely too. We stopped for a little while in Skradin as we asked Andreas where to get the best Skradin cake and coffee so he looked around and took us there. Cake was delicious but we traded coffee for an aperol. Driver whose name I can’t recall sorry was always waiting for us at each pick up location. Totally recommend tour especially if coming off a cruise ship

Mirko is a nice guy and we really enjoyed the tour! Especially for a family with small children, this private tour is good to do whatever you want to do with your own pace. Krka falls were great and both Skradin and Sibenik were lovely towns.

This was a fantastic tour. We were on a cruise with Azamara. We booked this tour ourselves for half the price of the cruise ship. It was a much better experience as it was a private tour and included a boat ride on the local shuttle/ferry. Scenery in the park is beautiful. Do this tour! Marko was our guide. Ask for him if you can because he was great!

This was a wonderful tour. Excellent communication from the company from start to finish. The driver/guide was able to drop us right at the entrance versus bus visitors that had many stairs to climb. The guide gave us just the right amount of history and educational information as well as letting us quietly enjoy the beauty. He was an excellent photographer and took some wonderful photographs of us and shared his beautiful photos of the falls. Recommend 100%

Our tour guide was such a breath of fresh air She was so knowledgeable and her personality was so so upbeat. We enjoyed every minute with her.

Private tour is great. Pick up at hotel is very convenient. We were able to see the best waterfalls with our guide. Taking the boat to the monastery was a very unique experience. Seeing Skadrin and taking a quick swim was a pleasant add on!

We were impressed by Mirko's friendly approach to introducing us to all the attractions. He was willing to walk us through Sibenik, despite our main destination being the Krka waterfalls

We had only half a day to spend at Krka national park and decided to try a half day private tour with Mirko. What a wonderful time! We felt like a VIP as he drove us past the entrance to the trail head, carried water for us, and even provided umbrellas for all four of us. He explained details about the park we would never have learned any other way and we skipped minor viewpoints that would have wasted our time. We took the boat to Sibenik and he drove us back to our car to end the tour. After the tour was over and we had said goodbye, he called to let us know there was traffic on our road trip to Rovinj and suggested an alternate route. I cannot recommend the tour and Mirko more highly!
