Tiran Island Snorkeling Experience By Yacht Sharm El Sheikh

An incredible experience and a truly wonderful day! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, including the transport. The boat staff were always attentive and made sure everyone felt comfortable and happy throughout the trip. The activities were very well arranged, and the food was absolutely delicious — with drinks available at all times. A big thank you to the entire team for everything. See you next time!

Chaos at the Port The day started with absolute chaos at the port. It was overcrowded, with nowhere to sit or even breathe properly. If you do go, bring plenty of water—you’ll need it. Onboard Experience The boat was packed beyond comfort, and it felt like a fight for a seat or a spot to rest between swims. We were picked up at 7:45am but didn’t actually depart until around 10:30am. Once onboard, we quickly realised that of around 35 passengers, only four of us were English. Everything was explained in Italian only, and the non-Italian guests were simply left in the dark. Snorkelling Stops We were told the first stop would be 1 hour 45 minutes away, but after just 30 minutes the boat stopped outside Sharks Bay—conveniently, right next to our own hotel’s house reef, where we had been snorkelling daily. We assumed this was just a warm-up stop for diving practice, but it turned out to be the main event. The second stop was even worse: poor visibility, a dangerously strong current, and no staff supervision. My travel partner was swept out about 30 metres by the current while staff sat smoking and did nothing. I had no choice but to jump in and help. The lack of safety was shocking. Communication & Transparency After lunch, one of the guides casually told us—only the English speakers—that “we can’t go to Tiran, too wavy,” and then went off for a nap. Later, we discovered other guests from our hotel had been to Tiran that same day with another company and said conditions were perfect. It felt like we had been scammed: paying extra for park entry and a promised trip to Tiran, only to be taken to easily accessible local reefs. Final Thoughts This company was disorganised, unsafe, and dismissive. We were misled, left uninformed, and treated as second-class passengers because we weren’t Italian. If you want a snorkelling trip, you’re far better off booking directly through your hotel’s dive club, where you’ll actually be looked after and get what you pay for.

Nice crew, excellent trip. There was not many people aroubd and we could snorkel without aby problems. Guide was very nice with my 5yo son

Waiting for driver one hour, waiting in the marine 1 hour, just two quick snorkeling, and NO TIRAN ISLAND! you pay extra 5 euros per person to go to this island and in the end you don't even go. It is so sad that is funny even. Trips on boats are all the same overall, bad.

Our mask (included into price) was broken, it was alredy damaged i think Inside boat no escort mask, we couldnt enjoy snorkeling 😖 I thought to walk on Tiran Island but it wasnt possible, you can only to see them from the sea....

The water was amazing and the snorkelling instructor and boat crew was amazing. It was organized very well. If you don’t want mask and fins not to fit then bring your own. Overall experience for a huge tour it was done very well

This is an absolute must do when you visit Sharm el Sheikh! The boat was BARAG and the captain and his team are absolutely passionate about what they do! They have a great vibe, super helpful and friendly. We had experienced scuba divers and snorkelers to novices on the boat and everyone was accommodated. Lunch was decent although I suggest you bring snacks and something to drink if you are picky. Bring your own snorkels as you risk faulty ones if you rent from the marina. We made three stops and got loads of snorkeling in and saw some incredible fish and coral. It’s the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. We also got lucky and saw a school of dolphin ride along with us, at least 50 of them. Incredible! Thank you to the whole team. We will definitely be back.

Amazing snorkel sites, the best we have ever been to and a very professional company. Smart boat, lovely food they took great care over everything making sure we had a brilliant time.

The trip was very well organized.. Did my first intro dive with them, the instructors are very helpful and guide you through each and every step of the experience. Additionally the boat stopped by 2 other locations for snorkeling. The boat is well maintained and clean.. The whole crew on the boat is very friendly and helpful.. Definitely a trip to remember..

Excellent snorkeling and diving. Only one or two otter tour boats so the reef was empty. Reefs amazing! Staff very skilled and helpful. We also booked a trip to Ras Mohammed it this trip was 200 x better! Too many tour boats to Ras Mohammed…

Great adventure. Very enjoyable trip to a beautiful location. Friendly team of crew who are always at your deposal. Lunch was very tasty and wholesome too. You get to scuba dive in the sea amongst the beautiful coral reef. I give it 4 stars only as you don't get the designated time for dives. I booked 2x30 mins but especially the second dive was rushed. I feel like the crew could use another certified diver as they have their hands full. On the way back we've seen dolphins which was breathtaking experience. All in all it was really worth it and it's good value for money (would be amazing if you'd get the whole hour of scuba diving). Solid 4.5/5 stars.

Good communication with the customer service however the tour was operated by another team and there was different expectations from the diving instructors. I added the professional diving as I had an open water certification and dived couple days ago with a diving guide. One of the diving instructors was a bit rushy/cranky ant the beginning and expected divers to set up everything. It was okay after communication and they offered me a private guide on the second dive. Nice diving overall.

amazing trip.. with various snorkeling spots in the multicolored underwater gardens , with lots of fishes; i've seen even a morena and a stingray.. the crew was very kind; the instructors were very patient and profi .. helping us also to see better various kinds of underwater life ..

It took a long time before the boat started. The boat itself is no luxury boat. But the boattrip and its crew were great. We had a lot of fun. We choose to pay more for diving. Wauwie how beautiful the world can be. Waet helped me and this memorie I will cheries. The lunch was good. So its save to book

We had a tremendous time! A perfect day on a fantastic boat, clean and comf, the most wonderful crew, everyone was super friendlyand attentive to every need we had. When we lost our hat to the sea- they even got to the water to get it for us! We had a great dive in Ras Muhammad coral reef, followed by a tour to white island. Everything was very well organized, from transportation to lunch; all the staff were very kind and helpful both on land and on the boat. Very nice, clean, and comfortable boat; it wasn't too crowded, and everyone had enough space. In the sea, even those who do not swim well feel safe with the guides who stay close with a life buoy to hold on to. Snorkeling in fantastic spots, many fish, and a beautiful reef. Leider absolut enttäuschend. Wir haben an unserem Hotelriff mehr Fische als bei den beiden Schnorchelstops zusammen. Tiran Island ist zudem stark wellig und mit einer Strömung. Darauf müsste wegen der Sicherheit hingewiesen werden. Zusätzlich ist das ständige Gepfeife von den Guides echt nervig.

De eerste snorkelstop was fantastisch, de volgende kon die hoge verwachtingen dan niet helemaal inlossen, maar was op zich best ok.

We dived into the water and saw lots of fish and corals, which made it feel like we were in an aquarium. The divers kindly taught me and I was able to dive with peace of mind.

Es hat eigentlich nichts mit der Insel Tiran zu tun, die sowieso nicht betreten werden darf, man sieht sie nur in der Ferne. Man fährt mit einem schönen Boot (Bella Vita) von der Marina an der Küste Sharm El Sheikhs entlang, wo es einen Schnorchel-/Tauch-Stopp gibt in der Nähe des Ras Nasrani Beach. Danach fährt man in die Richtung der Insel Tiran, hält dann aber in der Nähe des Wracks am Gordon-Riff für den zweiten Stopp an. Man hat dabei ungefähr ein Drittel der Strecke zur Insel Tiran zurückgelegt. Beide Schnorchelspots fand ich sehr schön, zu sehen sehr gut erhaltene Korallen und schöne bunte Viecher. Das Mittagessen an Bord war sehr gut und lecker, die Besatzung superfreundlich, engagiert und kompetent. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für die missratene Busabholung. Warum werde ich extra 20 Minuten früher an der Rezeption meines Hotels einbestellt, wenn der Bus mich dann erst 25 Minuten später abholt? Musste auch über WhatsApp nachfragen, was nun los sei. Beim Rücktransport fuhr der Bus an meinem Hotel vorbei, so dass ich mir 20 Minuten lang noch die Hotelzufahrten der anderen Teilnehmer anschauen musste.

Esperienza da fare.. Punti di snorkeling belli.. Equipaggio che si da da fare.. Chi in maniera più brusca e chi più gentile.. Questo e d appertutto.. Ma un ringraziamento a Mustafa.. Che ha assistito con la ciambella mia moglie e fargli ammirare a pieno lo snorkeling.. Giornata molto piacevole

We booked the excursion through A1toureg.com ; our contact was Zizou with whom we had a great time. Pick up at the hotel at 08 and direction Sharm port where they let us on the boat SAMYRA... Wonderful staff.... I was with my 9-year-old daughter and she practically became the mascot of the boat... during this beautiful excursion they made her try a small dive (7 meters x 20 minutes) and was very excited... Thanks for everything.....

Excursion to do if you like diving but also simply snorkeling. Unlike Ras Mohamed , at the tourist level, there is no one there so you can fully enjoy yourselves. Mask and fins are included and even if they tell you that final fins are not needed take them the same as they serve.

Very active guys always present for any request. Especially good diving and snorkeling and all the staff on board

Communication was also appropriate, so I was able to use the service with peace of mind. They also answered any questions promptly, so I could trust them. Pick-up and drop-off were also reliable. I thought the boat used for the tour was reasonable for the price. As for the snorkeling itself, it left a little to be desired, but I think it would still be quite satisfying under normal circumstances.

Llegaron tarde a recogernos, tuvimos que esperar más de 30 minutos. Después en El puerto te hacen esperar en una zona con más de 100 personas más de 1 hora... el snorkel que hicimos era para principiantes... gente que no sabe nadar.. en ningún momento hicieron dos grupos para Buenos nadadores y no nadadores... 3 paradas de snorkel de 20 min máximo cada una. Si eres buen nadador no contrates estas excursiones contacta con un centro de buceo y asegúrate que no sea una excursión masificada, vale la pena pagar más.

It took a long time before we left, the boat is not luxurious. But the experience and the crew are all the more fun. We enjoyed the diving experience/introduction offered. We laughed and enjoyed the memories made...so look through it all and enjoy.

It was a really nice and genuine day my kids had a blast. Nice that croo was so helpful. And there was no problem. Plus, the food was bright and beautiful. Experience I wish to repeat

It was a beautiful trip with the Centre of Manta and the very beautiful cabin with a reserve of our soul Ras Mohamed in which a true underwater paradise, very well-trained and understanding and thanks to Captain Abdullah Ali for the beautiful day.
