Absolutely loved this trip. We had been before but our children were much younger then and could not remember the Pyramids ... so we went back again!! Very hot day but totally worth it. Picked up from the hotel and taken to Hurgarda airport. Flight to Cairo airport where we were met by our guide Mr Falcon. We went to the Pyramids and I have to admit that it has changed so much, it is more organised with proper roads and no more rubbish around the place. The 'sellers' are vetted by the government so there is not so much pestering as they could lose their licence to trade at the pyramids. There are horse, camel and carriage rides available and this is going to be an additional cost. - $10pp. We did not do this as it was enough to walk around the site and see things up close. We walked around the outside of the massive Pyramids and went into 2 tombs and these were free but you can pay for entry into one of the other bigger pyramids. - $15pp It is very very hot and stuffy in the tombs so be prepared! We then went by bus to the Sphinx and learnt lots about that and got some fantastic pictures. Next was a buffet lunch, which we were all really ready for as most had not had anything to eat at all. We then went to the new Cairo museum and this was again an additional cost - about $30pp but an absolute must as it is fantastic. Really need about 3 days to see around the whole thing but we managed to see all of the Tutenkhamun treasures... and it gives us an excuse to come back to Cairo again in the future. Then we went for a small sail down the Nile - $10pp before returning to the airport for the return journey. Very long and hot day but so glad that we did it. Bit upset that we ended up paying so much extra money on top of what GetYourGuide charged so check that you have included everything into your tickets when booking the trip in the first place... but lessons learnt. Take snacks with you as you never know what time you will get to go for lunch as this is totally dependant on other members of the group and what they are doing and how long it takes them.

Meet the tour representative at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh for a transfer to Sharm El Sheikh Airport. Catch a flight to Cairo and be greeted by another representative at the Cairo Airport.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide in Cairo and begin your excursion at the Egyptian Museum. This building boasts an incredible collection of ancient treasures from Egypt and the Pharaohs. Be enchanted by the golden mask and jewels of King Tutankhamun, marvel at the statues of kings, remarkable servants, writers and ancient citizens, and see what life was like under the various ruling families from the colorful panoramic canvases could. After the visit to the museum, we interrupt the tour for a lunch break in one of the restaurants on site.

We went with Rasha for a fantastic day in Cairo, visiting the piramids of Giza and the Great Egyptian Museum. It was an awesome experience worth every penny.
Booked on the 4am flight from Sharm. Problems from getting there. Wrong tickets were ordered through this company for the museum.. had to pay extra. Was dropped off at numerous places... felt pushed to purchase goods from so many different stores. Dropped back off at the airport at 3pm. Flight back to Sharm was at 10pm. Overall would have booked elsewhere if we had known. Spent a fortune and feel thoroughly ripped off.
Nour is a very experienced guide and the whole tour experience was very good. We especially enjoyed his kindness, caring thoughtful attitude, Especially his great sense of humour. He has given us wonderful day! Everyone should see the Pyramids once in their lives and the new Grand Egyptian Museum is simply stunning. We did get to visit the perfume shop and the papyrus shop but they were not hard sells and the coffee in the perfume shop was quite good. I have dealt with FTS before and this years experience was as good as last time and I’ll be using them again for future Egyptian tours.
Amazing Experience from start to finish Can not fault this company. It was a dream to visit the pyramids and had no regrets. The new museum is a somewhere everyone should visit it is awesome. I booked this trip with my boyfriend as a nice break away from our hotel in Sharm el Sheikh. Nour looked after us for the day and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He even took lots of photos of us at each attraction making sure we captured each moment for our memory books. This was a nice added touch and really appreciated! He also answered our fifty million questions and was a great guide. Highly recommend and will definitely reach out to him when we come back to Egypt for more trips!
We did the one day tour to Cairo from Sharm. Fantastic communication, transfer service, and tour. Hema was an encyclopedia of knowledge and I was blown away with how thorough he was with Egyptian history. 10/10 would recommend
Sarwat was very friendly and knowledgable and kept us entertained through a very long day. It was a shame the weather was hazy as this meant we didn't see the pyramids at their best. The New Egyptian museum was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very late flight back so the party was feeling a bit jaded towards the end of the day.

We originally booked with another company and they canceled somewhat last minute as they said not enough people booked for “old museum “. We thought it was because we got an incredible Black Friday deal and force us to re-book. Instead, we booked with FTS and ORIGINALLY were a little disappointed with the extra price UNTIL our arrival in Cairo. Then our socks were blown off !! We didn’t realize this was a PRIVATE tour we had unknowingly booked. It was only a couple $100 more, but WOW what an experience!! Our guide Nour was so knowledgeable about everything Egypt ! He got us access around all the line-ups so instantly in to every site !! He’s a 2nd generation tour guide in Cairo and the passion for his history just flowed out of him. There was not one question he couldn’t answer and flawless English!! Would do this tour again in a heartbeat!! Was so impressed with how every detail from hotel pickup to hotel drop off went, even with a delayed flight !! Amazing job FTS !!

First a warning, this is a long day. We were picked up from the hotel at 04:15 and arrived back at 22:30. Plus you must have your Visa sorted beforehand. The pyramids and sphinx are breathtaking and the reason why I have rated this experience with 3 stars. Well worth seeing but I would not go again with this guide company. We selected the option to go to the Grand Egyptian museum, wanting to see the Tutankhamun exhibition but were instead taken to the other museum (which was ok but not what we had selected) with our guide saying that the GEM was 'like a shopping mall'. And we felt rushed at the museum to make more time at Papyrus shop and Perfumed Oil shop which were not even mentioned in the itinerary and the pressure to buy in these places was very high. We also visited similar shops in a TUI excursion without being under such pressure. Even with the souvenir sellers at the pyramids, our guide was rushing us past some to visit his recommended trader. The meal was at a buffet with plenty of options, no issues with that at all good food and good selection. Finally we were dropped back at the airport at 17:00 with over 3 hours to wait to board our flight home. Although I absolutely loved the pyramids and sphinx, as i said breathtaking, the rest of the day was rather ruined by the museum we were taken to and the hard sell in the shops. We were even pushed to try and leave a review in the presence of the guide so he could see what we were writing. I declined so that I could compose my real thoughts despite the adrenalin from seeing the Pyramids.

Earlier flights would be beneficial and more time at each location other than that the experience is absolutely unmissable!! Everything was seamless all drivers and guides fabulous. Especially Mina the main guide who is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Nothing to big an ask . Excellent all in. We loved it .
Sarwat was amazing and tue 5 stars are for him and the driver in Cairo. We had a super day! We saw everything and more and also added on a small boat ride and horse and cart ride to see all 9 pyramids. The horse and cart ride was uncomfortable and I wasn't sure about how well the horses were looked after. We are not as impressed with FTS as no driver turned up to collect us from the hotel and we received no information from FTS or the driver. It was only with the help of the hotel staff helping us to get a taxi and the speedy support at the airport that we managed to get our flight. Thankfully once we met Sarwat we were able to relax but I am not happy with how FTS has handled the matter so far and we have not been offered a refund for our additional taxi fare. We are writing this review before we head home and so hoping that there will be a driver waiting for us at the other end when we arrive home at 10pm....
It was fun and Sarwat, our guide, was very nice. The activities were very interesting. I really liked learning about the history of the pyramids and the history of the ancient Egyptians.
Nabil was a very special person ed an excellent guide. All the day was perfect. I suggest this experience to all the tourist that visit Egypt.
Great day out , We booked the all inclusive package which includes the river Nile cruise and inside the great pyramid We ended up swapping the entry to the great pyramid for the camel/ horse and cart ride to the viewing point of all 9 pyramids or you can add it on for €25 each. As we also had entry to the little pyramid. If you do not have the river Nile cruise included you can add it on for €15 each. We also added on the new grand museum for an extra €30 each , 100% worth it, it’s huge!! Ahmed was our guide, it was super easy to find him when leaving the airport, the red coat 100% helped to find him in the crowds. He was great at explaining everything to us and giving us recommendations, also a great photographer, he took photos on our phones during the day and was using filters and telling us to do funny poses with the pyramids , one of our group was eating the pyramid and punching the sphinx. He walked us around some the grand museum before letting us have some free time. Would recommend asking your hotel for a breakfast / picnic box as we were out for 20 hours . Also not booking anything the day after so you can chill. Even though it’s a super long day , would definitely do it again.

Our guide was great! Very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic (I believe his name was Mohamed). The only issue was that our flight on the way back was cancelled and we had to be driven 5 hours

Sherif was an incredibly informative tour guide, we were a small group which made it feel very personal and comfortable! The flight from Sharm to Cairo was swift and well exercised, we were met by sherif as well as another member from FTS who made us feel very welcome immediately. We got to see all the sights and learnt about all that sherif had experienced from being a local aswell as all of the history that Egypt has to offer. Would definitely recommend and come back to do it again!!
