Horse Riding On The Beach With Transfer From Sharm El Sheikh

Don't book this! I booked this experience as I have used viator before and trust them as a company. However I booked a 2 hour horse ride on beach. We were picked up in a disgusting old van with leather ripped off seats and very unpleasant. We got to the destination and we were out on the horses. One of the men (there were a lot of men sitting around there - lots of rubbish and bottles strewn all over the area) started walking us down the beach. Then a photographer came and started taking photos which was fine. After an hour and 15 minutes our guide sort of guided us to a secluded place where he was talking to us in Egyptian - we said we couldn't understand him and he put it in Google translate that he wanted ten dollars tip. I only had 300 Egyptian pounds and gave him that. He didn't look very happy about that and he then took us back to the start and said it was finished and we got off the horses. Then they offered us a drink and told us to take a seat to look at the photos. We took the drink and looked at the photos which were nice but then he said he wanted 10 euros from each of us to send the pictures over to our phone. I explained we didn't want the photos and had no more cash and he said card card and was thrusting the card machine towards me. I said again I don't want the photos and then he shouted for me to pay for the water we'd just had. Again I explained no cash so he said you'll have to pay by card - it was for 200 Egyptian pounds. I don't know whether it was thankful or not but the machine didn't work. He got quite frustrated and it was very uncomfortable. He said you'll have to get the money out from your hotel and my man will wait for it. We then had to endure the return trip in the awful van and get cash out whilst driver was waiting. I paid over £70 for this trip and it didn't even last an hour and a half and it was quite upsetting as there were many men there and it actually felt threatening at times. I would definitely not recommend it.

Absolutely amazing experience I became poorly after my ride as I was so run down with the heat and my guide was amazing with me Gutted I wasn’t able to get his name to thank him properly Amazing with the horses and make you feel comfortable and get the most out of the experience My guide videoed me and my husband riding while my daughters was walking been lead Amazing experience and amazing workers the horses are also very well looked after and you can see the connection through the workers and horses

Hossain was a superb guide. Spoke English well and consistently making sure we were ok. Also, took videos and photos of us whilst riding. Both Cappucino and Camilla were superb horses that were in good condition and well cared for. Ride was full up time. Lots of gallops and a lush ride in the sea. Transfers were prompt and air conditioned. Beautiful views. Photos available, quite reasonable but no pressure to buy.

We booked this activity last minute, the day before at midnight and they confirmed right away and after a couple of minutes sent us the time of pick up. Very easy and such a great experience, horse are well maintained, clean and looked pretty healthy. Don’t hesitate and book it!!

I wanted to go horse riding for my birthday. I went with my boyfriend who had no experiences with riding. Everything was perfect! It was the best experience ever - the horses were nice and the guide was so kind and professional. If you know how to ride a horse you’ll get a good portion of galloping and swimming with horses. Wow! I’ll remember this trip forever.

Absolutely amazing experience the staff were so supportive and helpful. Absolutely amazing experience. We payed £15 per person for photos at the end which they preferred cash but you could pay card if you didn’t have card. Photos were brilliant they were telling us position to do but if you said no they wouldn’t push you to do anything you didn’t want to do. We cantered but as soon as we said that was enough they stopped and we walked back. Absolutely amazing experience highly recommend.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and safe throughout. First time riding a horse and I was nervous but Achmed was kind an patient with me I was soon at ease. I booked for the 2 hours and had the pleasure of riding 2 of there beautiful horses, Mango and Chocolate who were very well cared for and the scenery was stunning. Totally professional from start to finish. Highly recommend

We have had the most amazing morning horse riding along the beach!! I have ridden since I was young and have my own horses so the guys gave me so much free rein and we galloped down the beach so many times!! And on the way back! My partner has only been on a horse a few times and they even had him galloping! Thanks so much guys this was the best!! ❤️

Guides were great, my children aged 8 and 11 loved having their own horse. The guide was friendly and engaged the children, asking Ng if they would like to go faster etc. Smooth transfer there and back.

Best Horse riding experience in desert. If you love something like this as we as family did it for first time and we enjoyed a lot.

1 hour desert horse ride was terrible experience. The horses were looking neglected, we stopped after 20 min and asked to be taken back to the hotel. Nothing at all enjoyable and would not recommend.

Great experience. My daughter rides and Abdul catered for her, galloping off along the beach, whilst also ensuring my horse prodded behind at a walk. I was trotting by the end thanks to Abduls lessons. Really relaxing by the sea as the horse walked, listening to the waves lapping in, was a really enjoyable experience. The horses were treated well and were impeccably behaved . I would definitely recommend

I left the tour unsatisfied. First of all the beach scenery was poor. There is a lot of trash on the beach. The operator may not be blamed for is letting tourist pay extra for riding next to a fukty beach. After all paying extra raises expectations. Therefore it does have a great effect on the experience. What the tour operator also can be blamed for is the way the horses are treated. They were kicked and beaten. Also the tour itself was not great. It was more about trying to sell bad quality pictures than actual horseback riding. I have better experiences elsewhere and this was just very disappointing tourist trap.

horses well cared for and weather was not too hot, rode with experienced son of the owner of the business who was lovely and very interesting to talk to. For those who can ride there is the option for a bit of speed through the saddles were not the most comfortable to sit into.
