As I am leaving tomorrow, I feel very sad that I am going. I don't know where to start, the reception staff were excellent the reception manager as well, the restaurant staff they all were above excellent, very helpful. The restaurant manager Hassan was very helpful and kind, the room service was excellent too, the staff who works at the beach were excellent too. Over all the hotel and the staff are very excellent and I will never go to another hotel. My best regards to all of them and hope to see them again very soon. Hamid Serkal.

Great experience at The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh! Good value for money and a wonderful stay overall. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Hassan Ramadan from main bar — he is an amazing guy! Recommended!
My experience at this hotel for one week was unfortunately disappointing. 1. Wi-Fi: There is no internet access in the rooms unless you pay extra. Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby, and even there, the connection is weak. 2. Food: The food is average and there is very little variety. You may enjoy it for the first two or three days, but after that, it becomes difficult to find something you actually want to eat. 3. Service: The service is not very good. For example, when we asked for things missing from our room, such as towels, we were told they would arrive within a few minutes, but sometimes we had to wait more than two hours. 4. Cleanliness: The hotel looks clean at first glance, but in reality, the cleanliness is not at the level expected from a five-star hotel. 5. Swimming pool: The pool was not very clean and there was not much to enjoy there. There were also no activities around the pool. 6. Beach: The beach is rocky, and the access to the sea is very poor. You have to go down using a metal ladder, which is not convenient or enjoyable. 7. Activities: There are no activities at the pool at all. The hotel’s other activities are not well organized, are repetitive, and are not particularly enjoyable. 8. Staff: With all due respect to the staff, many of them do not give the impression of working at a five-star hotel. It often felt like there was a lack of supervision and teamwork. 9. Hotel design: The hotel’s design is very poor. It is extremely large and has far too many stairs, but the space feels wasted. There are not enough activities, entertainment areas, or interesting things to make use of the large space. 10. Positive points: The bar staff were respectful, helpful, and genuinely tried to do their best to make guests satisfied. The person responsible for the night shift was also very respectful and cooperative. Unfortunately, the good and respectful employees cannot change the overall reality of the hotel. In my opinion, the hotel is far from the standard I would expect from a five-star property, and I would not recommend it based on my experience.
Absolutely incredible. The staff, the location, the food, the atmosphere was a 10/10. I loved it and would definitely come back again. If you are thinking about booking here do it!! It is worth every penny⭐️ I had an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth that immediately made me feel welcome. The reception staff were absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and effortlessly professional, setting the tone for everything that followed. The servers were just as exceptional. Every interaction felt natural and sincere, never forced or robotic. They were not only efficient but also incredibly kind, checking in at the perfect moments and making sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. You could truly tell they care about what they do and about the people they’re serving. What stood out most was how real everyone felt—no fake smiles, just authentic kindness and positive energy throughout the entire experience. It’s rare to find a place where every single staff member, from reception to service, feels so aligned in creating such a welcoming atmosphere. I was genuinely impressed and already looking forward to coming back. This is how hospitality should feel.
We had a very mixed experience at this hotel in March 2026. Unfortunately, the rooms were in quite poor condition — outdated, worn, and generally not what you’d expect. The bed sheets honestly felt like they hadn’t been replaced in decades. Thankfully, we were able to move to more decent rooms after complaining because it was impossible to stay. The bathroom was a disaster. They have a few recently renovated rooms but we were asked to pay an additional $600 for three rooms, even though the category was the same — pretty sure it was coming from a couple of very initiative guys at the reception. Obviously, we rejected this „generous“ offer. Most of the staff were genuinely kind (especially the clean service) and helpful, but a few clearly lack basic customer service skills. On a positive note, the hotel has a large and pleasant territory, a beautiful sea, and the evening music created a nice atmosphere. Also, the restaurants on-site were surprisingly good — affordable and much better than expected in comparison to the „all-inclusive“ options. One more odd detail: we had to buy our own volleyball because the one provided by the animation team looked more suitable for American football 🏈 than for actual beach volleyball. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the condition of the rooms and inconsistent service really need improvement. I would not recommend this hotel — it definitely does not meet 5-star standards. Go for a little expensive ones to even save money and nerves in the end. And don’t forget to bring your own alcoholic drinks from duty free if you need some.
