La Gouna Vista Sharm Resort

On the second day of our one-week honeymoon vacation, a night show was organized in the entertainment area located very close to the hotel’s beach section. After the show, all guests were invited in front of the stage and dancing activities continued. After the event, my wife and I wanted to take a walk on the beach. While we were walking along the beach area right next to the entertainment zone, three people who were near the dance floor followed us and started approaching us. In order to understand their intention, I asked them, “What is your purpose?” At that moment, while I was holding my wife’s hand, they tried to separate our hands and attempted to pull my wife toward their side. My wife and I became very frightened. We told them that we were married, and I pulled my wife back to protect her. However, when they continued approaching us and acting aggressively, the situation turned into a physical confrontation. After that, we immediately returned to the entertainment area and asked a waiter to call security and a hotel manager. The manager arrived and listened to both sides of the story. However, the only solution he could offer was that the other party should apologize to us. I completely refused to accept this solution because the issue was not something that could be solved with a simple apology. My wife was extremely scared, she cried, and this incident had a serious psychological impact on both of us. After putting us through such an experience, we did not believe that a simple apology would solve the problem. That night, we spoke with the manager for nearly one hour. During the entire conversation, the only solution offered to us was still an apology from the other side. Since this did not satisfy us, we eventually returned to our room. The next day, we left to meet with the highest-level company representative. During our meeting with the company’s senior representative, we were told that if we wanted, they could transfer us to another hotel belonging to their company. However, because we experienced such a serious and traumatic event on only the second night of our honeymoon, my wife and I decided that we no longer wanted to stay and wanted to leave the hotel. I understand that I may have experienced a problem with another guest, but in my opinion, the hotel also has responsibility in this situation. The hotel should be more careful when accepting guests who may threaten the safety and comfort of other customers. Allowing uncontrolled and disrespectful individuals into the hotel resulted in this incident and ruined our honeymoon. Because of this negative experience, our honeymoon was deeply affected. My wife and I experienced fear, stress, and disappointment. Due to what happened, we have not only lost our trust in this hotel but have also become very negative about visiting Egypt again. We came here to relax, create beautiful memories, and experience one of the most special moments of our lives. Unfortunately, this incident turned our honeymoon into a memory that we would rather forget.

had a wonderful stay at Pickalbatros Laguna Vista Aqua Park. The hotel offers excellent service, great facilities, and a wide variety of delicious food. Everything was well organized, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. What truly made the experience special was the Entertainment (Animation) Team. They brought so much energy and positivity to the hotel every single day, creating an amazing atmosphere for both adults and children. A special thanks to Ahmed and his team for the fantastic daily shows and activities—they are genuinely the heart of the resort and made our vacation much more enjoyable. One small suggestion for improvement: the sea activities experience could be better organized. The customer journey for booking water sports and sea activities should be simpler, smoother, and more convenient for guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely love to come back again. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable stay!

This hotel is brilliant. This is my second time here – it’s a hotel that’s well worth every penny. Hussein at reception is an excellent member of staff; he was very helpful, always smiling and solution-oriented. Abbas does his job very well; the pools are spotless. The lifeguards are very attentive and don’t tolerate even the slightest mistake. Olga, Taıko and Panoo from the entertainment team, as well as the male dancer with long hair, are all doing a brilliant job. The room cleaning is spotless, the location is perfect and the food is superb. The general manager even stops you in the corridor to ask if there’s anything you need – I’d like to thank Mr Mohammed for that. You absolutely must visit this place. I’ll be back here next year.

We spent one week at Pickalbatros Laguna Vista Beach Resort as a group of 10 people (4 rooms) and had a wonderful holiday. The resort is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The gardens, pools and beach are all looked after with great care, creating a relaxing atmosphere for families. We also really appreciated being allowed to use the resort facilities when we arrived early in the morning and again after check-out until our late-night transfer. This made our first and last day much more enjoyable. The staff deserve special recognition. They work incredibly hard every day, are always smiling, polite and willing to help. We were happy to tip because we genuinely appreciated their efforts. The food was tasty and fresh, although after a few days we felt that the menu became repetitive. A little more variety would make the dining experience even better. The only point that could be improved is ensuring the same standard of service for every guest, regardless of tipping. We noticed that drinks and service were sometimes noticeably different depending on how they were ordered or whether tips were expected. Tipping should remain a reward for excellent service, not something that influences the quality of service received. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. We highly recommend this resort, especially for families with children.
