Domina Coral Bay Aquamarine

Beautiful sea and views, but I wouldn’t recommend this resort I’m Saudi, and I visited Egypt hoping to experience authentic Egyptian culture. Unfortunately, my overall experience at Domina was disappointing. The negatives: * Almost everything was Italian: The atmosphere, entertainment, and evening shows were mostly Italian. It felt like visiting an Italian resort located in Egypt, with very little connection to Egyptian culture. * Major language barrier: If you don’t speak Italian, this may not be the place for you. Even during our desert trip, the instructor spoke in Italian and Russian. We had to personally ask for the instructions in English. * Below-average buffet: The food was disappointing, and I barely ate throughout my stay. * Serious towel hygiene issue: We left our dirty towels on the floor and marked one with lipstick to see if it would be replaced. The same towel was folded and returned as if it were clean, which was honestly shocking. * Strange-tasting water: The water served at the bars had a strange taste and didn’t seem clean. I only felt comfortable drinking bottled water. * Limited “all-inclusive” package: It mainly included three buffet meals per day, beach access, shuttle buses, and a few Italian evening shows. Many other activities and services cost extra. The positives: * The majority of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. * The sea was beautiful, and the resort itself was huge. * The view from our room was amazing. * The diving trip was super fun, and the diving team was excellent! Overall: Despite the beautiful sea, amazing view, friendly staff, and enjoyable diving experience, the poor food, questionable hygiene, language barrier, limited all-inclusive package, and lack of Egyptian culture made the stay disappointing. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this resort, especially if you’re visiting Egypt to experience its culture or if you don’t speak Italian.

Highly recommended!

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. My mother had a serious fall inside the hotel, and it took around 30 minutes for a doctor to arrive. Unfortunately, when the doctor finally came, he didn’t provide any medical assistance and simply told us to go to the hospital. What disappointed us even more was the complete lack of care and support from the hotel staff. No one accompanied us to the hospital or even checked on my mother’s condition afterward. Since our room was on an upper floor and my mother was unable to move comfortably after the fall, we expected the hotel to show some consideration by offering us a room on the ground floor or making any effort to help. Unfortunately, nothing was offered. Hospitality is not only about welcoming guests when they arrive—it’s also about how a hotel supports its guests when something goes wrong. In our case, we felt completely unsupported during a very stressful situation. Sadly, this experience left us with a very negative impression, and we cannot recommend this hotel.

A Magical Return: Domina Coral Bay Never Disappoints! ​For the second time in two years, we returned to this splendid resort, and it continues to be a magnificent place to spend a vacation. It is packed with every kind of service you could need and boasts a stunning sea that is simply breathtaking. ​While the location is world-class, it’s the staff that truly makes the experience special. Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful, but I would like to highlight the exceptional service of Ali at the Building 55 pool. Every single day, he was incredibly helpful and always had a smile on his face, making our holiday even better. A special thank you goes to him! ​I also want to give a huge shout-out to the drivers of taf-taf lines 4 and 5. This past week, it felt like they were waiting for us at every corner of the resort! Lastly, a sincere thank you to all the waiters and service staff for their hard work. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!
