Baron Palms Resort Sharm El Sheikh - Adu

Overall, it is a good hotel with a great location. The reef is amazing and the sunbeds are very comfortable 😍 The staff are friendly, and the bell captain- Ahmed Barey was especially helpful and welcoming. However, we had a few unpleasant situations when we checked into our room. The safe was not working, the bed sheets did not seem to have been changed, as they had some stains and smelled of men’s perfume, there were no large towels in the bathroom, and the minibar was not fully stocked. We contacted reception twice about these issues, but unfortunately, they were not resolved. However, after we spoke to the bellboy Ahmed Barey, he helped us very quickly and handled the situation in a very friendly and professional way, which we really appreciated. I would also recommend improving the sound quality and lighting in the amphitheater, as this would make the evening entertainment much more enjoyable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful reef, the location, and the helpful staff, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

Fantastic place. Great food, drinks and service. Staff were fantastic, especially Ayman and Amgal in the restaurant, all the staff there were excellent, always helpful and worked really hard. There was always a great choice of food and the atmosphere was excellent. The pool was really nice as well and the bar staff were great. Had a really nice massage and Badawy was a great guy sorting it, always friendly and happy when meeting him. The hotel manager was also regularly checking to see if things were ok, they all seemed to genuinely care. It was a great holiday and I am looking forward to returning.

Overall a very pleasant stay! The room was standard — clean and fine for sleeping, but nothing particularly special or modern. Apart from the hotel there is also many shops in the area of the hotel which is convenient. As for the dining, the food was good overall. Some days were definitely better than others, but you will always find something to eat. The coffee and cocktails, were really good — especially on the terrace and down at the beach bar! Huge shoutout to the bartenders there, who were always super friendly, welcoming, and fast with service. The animation team was also incredibly kind and constantly thinking of fun, engaging ways to make guests’ stays more interesting without ever being pushy. Finally, the location is unbeatable. The beach is lovely and the reef right by the hotel was absolutely wonderful for snorkeling and diving. There was also a lifeguard on the dock at all times which is a big plus.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Hamid Mohamed who worked in the main restaurant, and Essam Fathy who worked at the beach bar stood out for being very attentive and accommodating. The rooms are a little dated but still have all the necessities, including a mini bar. The grounds are immaculately maintained and beautiful. We didn’t use the pool as we prefer the beach, which is a short walk away. However, the pool is popular with many visitors and benefits from glorious sunshine for most of the day. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay in Sharm El Sheikh, this would be a good choice. The local traders between the beach and hotel are friendly with a lot to offer and hard to resist, but don’t feel pressured - a polite refusal is generally respected.
