Milad – the bartender who made our entire vacation! If you’re ever lucky enough to be served by Milad, prepare yourself for the best cocktails, the warmest smile, and truly unforgettable service. Milad isn’t just a bartender – he’s a true professional, a great entertainer, and one of the kindest souls we’ve met. He makes every guest feel special, remembers your favorite drinks, and mixes them with perfect precision and flair. And he does it all with genuine joy and charisma. Every evening at the bar was a highlight of our trip – not just because of the amazing drinks, but because of Milad’s energy, humor, and warm personality. He turned simple moments into memories we’ll never forget. Thank you, Milad, for everything. You’re a star – and we hope to see you again soon! Thank you, Gabr! Gabr was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was always perfectly clean and tidy. He was always smiling, very accommodating, and willing to help with anything we needed. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable! Big thanks to the lifeguards at the Relax Pool! Always attentive, kind, and professional. They created a calm and safe atmosphere where we could truly relax. Thank you for keeping an eye on everything with such care and a smile every day!
After a two week stay at Aurora Oriental in Sharm el Sheikh, we found the hotel to o good value for the money. While it is located 30 km away from the Old Market in Nabq Bay, the hotel itself is pleasant and boasts modern rooms and a nice climate with a welcoming lobby. However, there are a few downsides to the hotel. The all-inclusive package only includes one restaurant and one bar, and the evening entertainment is almost none despite of the team’s efforts. The drinks options offered are also limited, and the glasses are very small, making it difficult to enjoy them. The hotel seems to be cutting costs in every way possible, which is evident in the restaurant. The staff were generally doing their best to meet guests' needs, but the policy of having hotel staff serve everything, restricting portions, and using small glasses can be frustrating for guests and we were not once even offered wine in water glasses. The egg cook, Hossam, was particularly disappointing, as he seemed to prioritize certain guests over others, and despite repeatedly informing the restaurant manager, Mohamad el Nagar, about the situation, he didn't seem to understand the problem or express genuine concern. This lack of accountability and customer service from a higher-level staff member was disappointing, because while he by example tried to help us get our eggs faster, he never apologized for the poor service. Instead, he seemed to regard us as demanding customers with unreasonable expectations. I found this behavior unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position who should have been grateful for our feedback and made an effort to understand and address our concerns. I believe he set a poor example for his employees. I would like to extend special thanks instead to Akram, Samy, Whaled (grill), Islam, Essam, Mohamed (adult pool) and Mahmud (adult pool) for doing everything in their power to meet our needs. Other than that, the pools are all very nice, but the one reserved for adults at the back of the hotel is the most enjoyable. The beach area is also excellent, but there appear to be two wooden piers leading to the water. Unfortunately, the one on the right, which offers swimming jackets and is less windy, is not accessible to Aurora guests, who have access only to the one on the left. Now for the good news. Although some situations caused discomfort, the upper management went out of their way to resolve any problems and assist guests in obtaining their needs. This is the reason we would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future and still recommend it to others. Finally, one word of caution, though: the pharmacy shop outside the hotel is extremely overpriced, so it's best to avoid it and shop in the Old Market instead.
