Zhujiajiao Water Town And Shanghai City Private Day Tour

I loved this tour! My guide made it even more special! We saw a lot of great shanghai spots and the beautiful water town zhujiajiao! Unforgetable!

The tour was incredible! We started at 9AM and Snow picked us up from our hotel. She showed us the Shanghai Tower and the Bund, sharing with us the details of every building and the history of it. We went to the Yu Garden and explored around the park. She took us to a local lunch place where we shared a family style Shanghainese cuisine. After lunch, we went to the Water Town, took a boat ride, and walked alongside the beautiful canal. Snow recommended that we see the ERA show which was so exciting to watch! She dropped us off at the show and escorted us inside. The tour ended at around 6:30pm. I'd recommend Snow to everyone! She was so considerate, kind, and thoughtful! She answered all of our questions about the history of Shanghai as well as all of our cultural and lifestyle questions! I've never had a tour guide who was so accommodating and caring of the group!

Where do we start? What a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Xin. She was knowledgeable, friendly and spoke perfect English which was a huge bonus. The final leg of our journey to China was Shanghai. Our tour guide was Joy Dai and our driver Mr John. Both were great. Punctual, professional and a pleasure to be with. In particular, Joy was superlative to spend time with. She was attentive , and extremely knowledgeable about the sites she selected for us. From our 5 star hotel, the Fairmount Peace , we walked the Bund, visited the first rate Museum house ancient and current Chinese art. We visited the Old Town of Shanghai where Joy took us to all the ancient sites with superb explanations of there history . We spent time Vu garden as well. A highlight was the ancient village outside of Shanghai called Zhujiajiao. This water city , over 1000 years old was a site to behold! Joy explained all ancient structures. She was so knowledgeable and informative with the most adoring, pleasant personality. She was the best! And the reason I would like to return to Shanghai again to experience more of its technological advances. What a pleasant surprise. Thank you Joy 😊

Our private tour of Zhujiajiao Water Town and Shanghai was the highlight of our trip, and that's thanks to our guide, Blair. She was amazing from start to finish. She even played hide and seek with our son, which made him feel like he had a new friend for the day. We had a wonderful day with our guide Lin and drive Qi. Lin is so knowledgeable and provides history and facts at and on the way to all the stops. She’s also very personable. We started off the tour at Yu Garden which was a mix of shopping and a beautiful garden right in the city. Next we walked the Bund and went to the top of the Shanghai Tower where the views are spectacular. Then we had a delicious lunch at a fusion restaurant. Then we were off on a one hour drive to Water Town which is called the Venice of China and for good reason. The canals and 36 bridges are so picturesque. And Lin was the best photographer. We have so many great shots from our day. There are also temples, lots of little shops and places for drinks. Thank you for your knowledge and professionalism Lin. We will definitely book with you again.

Had a wonderful day seeing the sights of Shanghai. Our guide, Snow, looked after us from beginning to end. We started the day at the Shanghai Tower before all the crowds arrived, then to the Bund and gardens, and off to the water village. Snow provided lots of interesting history and information along the way. Travelled in comfort the whole day despite the heat. Highly recommended and Snow was a brilliant guide.

The tour guide and driver service in Shanghai was great! Lin was very informative about not only the sites visited, but also Chinese culture and general points of interest. She was very attentive and considerate. It didn't matter that the aftermath of the typhoon and the weather made visits to the water town and tower not possible - the alternatives worked very well for me indeed.

My one day private tour in Shanghai was an amazing, unique and unforgettable experience in the best way ever. My guide was a beautiful, smart, kind and with a very good vibe chinese young lady, called Snow, which shared with me (in english) many interesting information and facts about Shanghai and surroundings. I visited the unique ancient water village Zhujiajiao, the beautiful Yu Garden, the amazing Shanghai Tower and finally the lovely French Concession Area. Every place I discovered during this interesting one day private tour, I highly recommend to be enjoyed while in Shanghai, together with the wonderful local tasting food experience in the Yu garden famous restaurant, where all the chinese authentic food I tasted was fabulous and very delicious - chicken noodles, pork dumplings, local vegetables and the chinese dessert tangyuan (balls filled with black sesame paste). So, I highly recommend Amazing Shanghai for this one day discovering experience and many warmly thanks once again to the lovely guide Snow for this unforgetable and also unique memorable travel experience in Shanghai!

This was one of our highlights in Shanghai. With the help of our amazing guide Xin, we got to experience the beautiful Yu gardens, The Shanghai Tower, The Bund and the Zhujiajiao water town. Xin is just the guide we needed - knowledgeable and generous with information, ensured we captured the moments by taking our photos, patient and caring especially when we needed to take breaks. The Water Town tour was the highlight of our visit to Shanghai! Our tour guide, Snow, was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Snow was an excellent guide! She was flexible and adjusted the itinerary since we’d already seen a few places earlier in the week. The boat ride through Zhujiajiao Water Town was a highlight, and we loved seeing the giant pandas and red pandas, enjoying a delicious local lunch, and taking in the views from Shanghai Tower and the beautiful bookstore. She even helped us find the jade necklace I’d been searching for. It was the perfect last day in Shanghai. Highly recommend!

Me and my sister went on this amazing tour. Our tour guide, snow, was very friendly and had so much knowledge of the temples and local erea. We are local food for lunch, which you could tell was chosen for quality and good service! The staff was very nice, the food came out quick and was very tasty!

My family and I had a perfect trip to tge ancient river town, Zujiajiao. Our personal tour guide Snow was amazing! She was the most thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind tour guide we have used in the World. We also loved our driver, Sifu and the luxury transportation we drove in for the entire trip. Snow perfectly timed all of our stops so we never had any wait time at any location which on a Saturday tour was very impressive. Snow also helped us to do some excellent shopping for fresh water pearls and other Chinese souvenirs. We stopped for lunch in the water town and had a delicious meal overlooking a scenic canal from a second floor restaurant. My family's complicated dietary needs of one vegan, one vegetarian, and a meat eater but no pork were perfectly accommodated. This tour with Snow was worth more than 5 stars and I recommend you ask for her directly when booking with Alana.

I took the tour with Snow to visit the Yuyuan Gardens and Watertown. Her office manager was very prompt to reach out to coordinate all the details. They were super accommodating to my mom with mobility issues and were able configure the tour for our needs. We ordered fish and duck at lunch. There were plenty of other options! I would highly suggest going to the company. Snow was informative and super nice. We were unable to do the bund due to to traffic.

I had a fantastic time with snow! She did such a good job. She explained all the history behind everything we saw and the place she took us for lunch was fantastic. She even told me when some of the gifts I was gonna buy were too expensive. She was very honest and listened to our wishes. The driver she came with was very courteous and safe. We really loved travelling around with Snow and Shi Fu. Snow was a great tour guide super friendly, taught us lots of Chinese and was super helpful in everything we did. It was the one of the most comfortable tours I’ve ever done before. The day before we decided to do some activities ourselves that would be on the tour because of the labour holiday chaos. Snow adapted to our schedule of what we had already done and brought us to new places we hadn’t been before. Over the course of one day we saw a variety of Shanghai’s best highlights with the comfort of a very spacious car. The restaurant we went to was great, the food was the best Chinese food I’ve had ever and we ate a crazy amount of high quality food. Here are the words that I enjoyed butchering over the course of our event filled day ( Bo shu “great” PO Rian “beautiful” yo chuu “interesting” tsusou “toilet” how wan “interesting”). I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a great time in Shanghai.
