Shanghai Yu Garden (Yuyuan Garden) Entry Ticket

The tour operator is kind and replies relatively quickly! At first, I misunderstood an admission ticket, and I took the barcode ticket as admission! After you have paid, the operator will send you a QR code to pass the gate, so you can enter the garden by using it. Yuyuan Garden itself was very good! (I was a little confused when the entrance staff told me that this barcode was not the entrance ticket!)

Absolute disaster, We could not redeem our tickets, we NEVER got an email with the required QR code. Without the QR code, we could not enter the Yu Gardens. We lost our money, but most valuable, we lost our time. The least you can do is return us our money, but we lost the opportunity of visiting Yu gardens.. We are no longer Shanghai Never to recommend this activity.

Amazing place to visit! Lovely garden with awesome scenery. Esp when the leaves are yellow, green, red and brown.

The Yu Gardens were great, better than I expected. However, there was no need to pre book and it was less than half price at the ticket office

The Yu Garden is definitely one of the best things to go and see in Shanghai, with beautiful architecture and ponds it is an oasis in the city centre.

It was easy to enter. Just use the QR code and you’re in. Skips any lines, just wander around inside

I booked a lot of my experiences through this company and I must say I am so happy I did. Every experience has detailed descriptions on how to get there and how to use the ticket. Also got extra emails with helpful tips. Any question I asked you as answered so so quickly. I went during a holiday period for China and they still managed to get me tickets. The up cost for the tickets in minimal compared to other places. Great company that saved me a lot of worries and stress.

Well worth a visit, but 45-60min is sufficient. If this is your only garden visit whilst in China, perhaps spend more time and possibly a guide. For us, not the only garden and as such, no guided (and expensive) tour was perfectly fine. Shanghai old city just next door also worth while, 2 birds with one stone. Add 30min for this..

Beautiful place. The buildings and the gardens are amazing. Very hot this time of year. Busy busy busy. No social distancing and not very many masks being worn either. Cell phone and wifi are limited so post your pictures when back to hotel

The truth is that it is not very careful especially the lakes it has, I expected it more spectacular. Entrance is pretty expensive for what you see inside.

I recommend coming early in the morning. The place fills up fast and loses its magic with all those people. A must-visit in a stay in Shanghai.

Duplica o incluso triplica el precio de la actividad si la coges en taquilla. Es un parque pequeño y el precio no merece la pena si lo coges mediante esta plataforma. Mejor cogerlo allí mismo en taquilla. Además si vas entre semana no hay mucha gente y podrás comprar sin problema.

Reading the guides we preferred to book the ticket but once we arrived we discovered that it was also possible to do it on site at a lower price! But surely we saved in time.
