Your tour guide and private driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in the evening and take you to the Huangpu River Cruise Terminal where you will enjoy a relaxing river cruise ride on the mother river of Shanghai - Huangpu River. Standing on the top deck of the cruise and you will have a glimpse of Shanghai’s past and look into the bright future of the city. Your cruise offers a great view of the grand colonial buildings along west side of the Bund, such as the famous Peace hotel, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and etc. Turn towards east side, you will see the skyscrapers of Shanghai, like Oriental Pearl TV Tower, World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower. (Sometimes dinner before cruise depends on Sunset time)
After your lovely cruise ride, follow your tour guide to a local popular Xinjiang restaurant to enjoy a halal dinner In Pudong New Area. Xinjiang cuisine is famous in China, and you will enjoy the famous Dapanji (big plate chicken), lamb kebabs, Xinjiang yogurt, and naan(a kind of Xinjiang pancake). Dapanji (big plate chicken) is a famous dish which is nicely flavored in little spices as well as chopped potato, green paper and it is usually served with hand stretched noodles. The lamb kebabs at the restaurant are the most popular ones for local residents. If you don't like lamb, you can choose chicken wings or other skewers. The restaurant offers evening entertainment from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, and there is cultural dancing and belly dancing you can watch. If you are lucky, the dancers will ask you to dance together with them. After your dinner, your guide will send you back to your hotel. If you wish to be dropped-off in other places in the city, such as Xintiandi, your guide will take you there.

This wasn’t my first cruise with dinner in Shanghai but this time me and all our group felt special thanks to the people that took care of us during the event Lin and Alana. Lin as a our guide was very devoted and helpfull and made everybody feel good and valid. She provided also interesting information about Shanghai and suggested good dishes at restaurants, and Alana made us feel safe from the time of booking the tour. That’s how good service should be like to make a simple event a special one. Thank you Lin and Alana and hopelly see you again in Shanghai!
Very well organized tour, unfortunately it was raining, so we didn't get the full experience, but what the rain dampened Queena the tour guide more than made up for it, she knew her stuff and guided us very well, the Xinjiang dinner was truly exceptional. Queena was helpful in ordering the best of Xinjiang cuisine, she was truly fun to be with.
Absolutely enjoyed this experience our guide was Snow, and she is amazing very knowledgeable and very good English. VIP seats on the cruise was great even with the wet weather we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The dinner at the end was tasty Snow assisted with the selections which is very helpful. Very glad we had her as our guide and would definitely recommend this experience.
Our guide for this trip was Lin, and she was fantastic. Communication was great and we had no problems with getting the tour set up and started. The boat ride was amazing and Lin pointed out different buildings throughout and the history and stories behind them. She then took us to dinner and helped pick a delicious meal. She was extremely personable and all of us had a wonderful time. Word highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing night, our guide Kalvin was Awesome, he was informative and very knowledgeable, with great English speaking skills, we were transported in clean modern luxury vehicles, were treated to a meal at a lovely restaurant, the spread of food was comprehensive and delicious, Once dinner was completed we boarded the boat for the city lights sight seeing, and to our surprise we were elevated to VIP status which made the trip even more special. We all had an amazing night, Alana and Kalvin did their city proud, we would highly recommend this trip

Very smooth tour facilitated by Kalvin! My mom and I enjoyed his thorough knowledge of the city as we traveled to and from the boat. Boat tour was incredible with fascinating views and a private area to enjoy the scene. The Uyghur food afterwards was an excellent meal!

I admit I was initially reluctant to go on this tour, but our guide,Jane, was the ultimate professional. She ensured the entire experience was smooth and tailored to our every need. She adjusted to our abilities with ease and made the experience that much more enjoyable. The city lights were overwhelming in their beauty. We were left speechless for the majority of the cruise, and as we had already enjoyed a delicious Xinjiang dining experience previously, we requsted hotpot, so Jane took us to a local restaurant close to our hotel that capped the evening perfectly for us. We had such an amazing experience on this tour! Everything was 10 out of 10 from the organization and itinerary to the boat ride and dinner. It was the perfect mix of learning about Shanghai, seeing beautiful and interesting places, and having a lot of fun along the way. And of course, Lin was the absolute best! Our Shanghai cruise was an amazing experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The views of the city's spectacular skyline were absolutely breathtaking, especially as the lights illuminated the buildings in the evening. The night time river boat cruise on the Huangpu with Queena was absolutely amazing. She did a fantastic job with making this cruise unforgettable. Queena is very knowledgeable and has a terrific personality which made this cruise a must when your come to Shanghai. Queena was right on time for pickup at the hotel and truly made this trip something that I will never forget. If you have a chance you should request Queena as your tour guide.
This tour was fantastic. Everything about it was premium from the car, to the VIP section on the cruise, the taste of the food to my guide Queena. I felt this particular guide was a natural. She provided interesting facts but I did not feel overloaded with info like on some other tours. The focus was on pleasure.

We could not have had a better experience. Everything was perfect. Lavan and a driver picked us up at our hotel and took us to our river cruise. He helped navigate flawlessly the entrance to the cruise and got us VIP tickets on top of the boat. He explained so much about growing up in Shanghai, the culture and the huge changes he’s seen in his lifetime. It gave us so much insight and appreciation for the beautiful city. The dinner was great afterwards, everything was absolutely special. After our tour, Alana seamlessly set us up with drivers to take us to and pick us up from our international cruise as well. 1000% would recommend them to any one! Our evening cruise I. Shanghai was an amazing way to start out visit and our guide, Kiki, did an outstanding job! She and her driver took great care of us, met us at our hotel and got us to the boat. She waited for tickets so we didn’t have to! She gave us lots of information about beautiful Shanghai during the cruise, then her driver picked us up and took us to a delicious dinner! Her English was fantastic and she deserves those 5 stars!!

The best experience in Shanghai. Our guide Queena was very friendly and explained things really well. The car for the transfer was very luxurious and comfortable. The sights during the river cruise were amazing. The food at the end of the evening was also exceptional.
It was a great tour! Our guide Blair was amazing! Very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The river cruiser was beautiful. It was a day of a national holiday and the ship was really crowded. But Blair helped us to get good seats on the top deck, gave us detailed descriptions of surroundings, ad we had fun. And the dinner at the uyghur restaurant was delicious!

Kalvin is an excellent guide. He is a perfect mix of practical and historical knowledge, and he handled our small school group perfectly. He was super careful with what he ordered us for dinner with the different allergies and dietary restrictions in our group. Also, Alana the tour company contact/operator was amazing with communication before, during and after the tour. I knew exactly what to expect, and she was super responsive to a request to alter the original itinerary. Lastly, Alana saw that there was going to be an issue with one aspect of our tour for the next day due to the holiday weekend in China. She thought of an alternate plan to compensate and made sure that our group was okay with the change before she proceeded with tickets, etc. Alana and her tour company are really great. I highly recommend them if you are in Shanghai. :)

We had a wonderful experience with Queena! She met us at our hotel and picked us up in an amazing vehicle. Next was a relaxing riverboat ride where we sat away from the crowd, had snacks and tea and enjoyed the beautiful views of the buildings all lit up in the night. The driver met us right after and took us to the area where we had a delicious feast for dinner. Queena was the perfect guide. She is very knowledgeable and had so many interesting things to tell us about the history and the area we were in. She spoke very clear English and has a great personality. Would highly recommend this tour!!
We loved this experience, food was great and we had plenty of time to snap some pics at The Bund before boarding the boat .The scenery of Shanghai at night is breathtaking. Our guide Judy was lovely, and the driver and vehicle first class. The company stayed in touch via WhatsApp the whole time, so everything ran smoothly. Hot tip - We opted to upgrade to VIP tickets on the boat cruise so we had somewhere warm inside out of the cold wind and no crowds (there is also a separate outside VIP area for viewing, and you can come and go as you please). It’s a very popular attraction, so if you get a standard ticket expect to be squashed in between people pushing and fighting for the best spot - worth the upgrade to VIP which also included snacks and beer :) Recommend a week day if you can to avoid busy road traffic and big crowds.
We had a long layover in Shanghai and we wanted to see some of the city. There was only time for one activity and we chose this one. It was an absolutely amazing experience! Alana arranged everything and had amazing communication with us from the start. Our Driver Mr. Lin made us feel safe and relaxed. The highlight was our time with Kalvin, our guide. He had so much knowledge on the history of Shanghai and his passion for his city was evident. We felt like we got a deeply informative history of the city and we left feeling in awe of the Chinese people. There is so much resilience, brilliance and tenacity in the story of Shanghai and China. The view of the city at night was stunning and the dinner provided was mouth-watering delicious. We loved our evening and it is a memory we will cherish forever. What a wonderful experience. Alana Tours was awesome. Our tour guide, Queena, made it so wonderful. This young lady is smart, energetic, knowledgeable, organized, and it shows she loves her Shanghai! We had our own spot on the ship and ate at a very good restaurant. Queena gave us some very good suggestions ordering a variety of dishes and lots of it! I would recommend this Tour and Queena! It’s the best.
Queena was communicative and timely at our hotel for collection. A comfortable taxi took us to the river cruise, where we experienced the Huangpu River and city night lights. We took amazing photos and enjoyed the views. We enjoyed many traditional dishes at the recommended restaurant. This is our third time taking this tour and highly recommend it!
