Shanghai Night River Cruise And Light Tour With Yuyuan Bazaar

My short stay in Shanghai could not have got off to a better start! The night river cruise and light tour was wonderful and being in the VIP section of the boat made it even better it being less crowded. The complimentary drink and snack was most welcome. After disembarking we visited the Yuyuan Bazaar which was stunning in terms of the architecture, the shops and stalls and the meal of dumplings and beef soup. Police had set up a one-way system to keep the crowd moving, it being a National holiday. Snow was a wonderful guide; she was knowledgeable and informative, and had a very pleasant personality. I enjoyed spending time with her. Mr Chi navigated round the tour expertly and picked us up at the appointed places in a timely fashion. This was a wonderful way to spend my first evening in Shanghai! Andrea

Xin was an amazing tour guide! The cruise was amazing and the views were spectacular! We really enjoyed our trip to the Yuyuan Bazaar! Xin really helped us with our souvenir shopping…and the bazaar is stunning at night!!

Wonderful cruise of the night lights of Shanghai. We got upgraded to VIP and were able to have a nice inside table with a clear view of the lights. It was cold so being inside with the option of going outside for photos was wonderful. We also got drinks and snacks during the cruise. The tour of Yu Bazaar was very nice too. Our guide, Kalvin, was both informative and accommodating to our wants. Again, we got tasty Shanghainese foods to sample as part of the tour. Delicious! Our tour manager, Alana, was very responsive and was constantly in touch with us to ensure smooth sailing. Altogether, a wonderful tour.

The tour guide is very informative about Shanghai and very generous. They also gave us bubble tea as well! Highly recommended!!

The river cruise was very nice. Unfortunately visibility was low, but had a great time. Tour guide Xin was very nice shared much historical information.

The whole experience was amazing, Alana and Charlie were both excellent in helping us with our booking, giving us updates and the tour itself was excellent.

This was a fantastic tour start to finish, led by guide Queena, who made us feel like royalty! She made special arrangements for our transportation to be in luxury vehicles and for us to enjoy the cruise in the VIP section at the front (highly worth it to get the best views). Our tour of the Yuyuan area included the chance to try some of the popular foods there, and she made time to take us to a couple of other spots since we had spent some time at Yuyuan independently. Overall a truly wonderful tour!

Great tour and fantastic way to see the city. The cruise was beautiful - a great way to see the lights of the city. The old town and French area were both different and worth seeing. Beautiful!! Our guide Jane and driver were excellent.

Everything was amazing. The tour lady (Xin) was very nice, warm, intelligent and give us a clear and complete explanation of everything. It worth the price.

Queen was very good at showing us around. The Food places that she took to was very good. The river cruise was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Queen was also very nice and polite.

Title: Great night views, but very hot onboard We went on the Shanghai Night River Cruise as a family, and it was exactly what you’d expect from a river boat trip. The city lights at night are beautiful, and seeing Shanghai from the river is genuinely impressive. The surrounding areas look fantastic once everything is lit up, and it’s a great way to take in the scale of the city. It does get very busy getting on and off the boat, and the boat itself was extremely hot. There’s no air conditioning, and even at night the heat builds up quickly with so many people onboard. Overall, it’s a very enjoyable experience and well worth doing for the views alone, but the crowding and heat knock it down slightly from being perfect.

It was a great experience to see the skyline from the the river boot. Caroline made sure we had a spot on the boot with best view and being anything but crowded (VIP deck). She briefed us and gave insight of the various impressive buildings we came across. Later on, Caroline took us to the Yuyuan Bazaar where we enjoyed a stroll by night through this most picturesque area. The driver was quickly around when called by Caroline to take us around. They even made a special effort at beginning of our tour, because we were not at the agreed pick up location.

It is a must do, it was absolutely amazing. Our guide Kalvin was the best, so knowledgeable. He made sure we had the best experience. We were driven in a comfortable car, the driver was professional, helpful. They were prompt, kept in touch with us. Highly recommend this tour.

Our guide had a driver pick us up at our hotel. We met Judy at the boat for the tour a bit early so we could be ready. She planned it out so well. We didn’t have to wait in the long line. We went on and into the private area so it wasn’t crowded and we had a wonderful view of the city. Judy was very informative and loves Shanghai. The river tour was very good and beautiful at night. We ended at Bazaar. Unbelievable how beautiful this was. The night was very good.

We undertook this tour on New Year’s Eve! So it was a challenge to get from our hotel to the boat due to the vast crowds on the street. Our driver was amazing and Mary, our wonderful guide, manage to get us on the boat on time. The boat trip was beautiful and the lights on the buildings are unreal - you feel like you are in a sci fi movie. Mary had our seat upgraded so we were warm and comfortable. Instead of going through the bazaar Mary gave us the alternative of going to dinner instead. That totally suited our family and she picked a wonderful restaurant that specialised in North Chinese food. We had a fabulous tour and a big thanks to Mary in her skill and knowledge of the city.

Queena was our guide and she was excellent, she made our evening special and showed us some amazing sites of Shanghai. The river boat tour was the highlight and we would definitely recommend.

Our guide was Queena and she is the kindest person we’ve met in Shanghai so far. She’s knowledgeable, helpful and very enthusiastic. Our boat ride was amazing, we truly appreciated all the guidance she provided and how she explained a lot about the history of this city. We are very pleased with this experience!

Nice little treat of trying Shanghai style dumplings. Amazing photos, especially thanks to Mary getting us a prime position on the boat.
