Alana and her team along with her driver, Mr. Chen and his team were fantastic . We initially hired her for pickup from the airport. Then we realized that we also had booked a tour through her company. One night at dinner, we realized we needed several different pickups and drop offs at train stations and airports during our stay and had failed to arrange them. I quickly sent Alana a message with our needs and in less than 10 minutes, they were all booked. Her communication is incredible, as are the clear instructions where to meet the drivers. The prices are a great value for what you get. Today, on our last day we had a day to kill time before heading to the airport. Alana arranged some sightseeing and a great lunch spot. I can’t say enough great things about her and Mr. Chen. Call her for all your tours and Shanghai transport needs. You’ll be glad you did.

A great experience, we saw so much, with a lovely experienced guide, and managed to fit so much into the day including an extra stop we requested at the end of the day. A perfect way to see the city and experience some of the main attractions with ease.

Picked up on time at hotel, very comfortable car driver was very safe whilst driving our guide Xin was extremely informative and friendly anything we asked she gave us an answer, we had a plan of where to go but she suggested another stop which we really enjoyed we took in so much of Shanghai in one day, temples gardens China town shopping malls lunch up to top of Shanghai Tower and ending with a river cruise, all in all a fantastic day with a fantastic guide and driver extremely good value for money would highly recommend Xin

This was a fully private all day in-depth tour of Shanghai highlights, perfect for our first time to Shanghai. Xin, our tour guide was a lovely, knowledgeable native of Shanghai. She was willing to show us anything we had additionally wanted to see and was very flexible in how we spent to day. Highly recommended!

Our day trip around Shanghai was truly enjoyable, I had a great time! Ling my tour guide was amazing, very knowledgeable and patient explaining the history of all the areas we visited and made it a wonderful experience. She even braved the rain in the afternoon to walk around the old town areas with me to ensure I got to see all the places we picked out. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Yuyuan Garden and markets, the serene Jade Buddha Temple, and the charming French Concession. Shout out to our great driver as well, he was super helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our tour with Snow! She was extremely nice, friendly and informative! We had a wonderful day learning from her. She made the entire day feel very easy. We were also treated to a lunch near Nanjing Road which was absolutely delicious and Snow made sure to accommodate all of our dietary needs. It was such an easy and carefree day with Snow! The tour operator was great at communicating everything before the tour also! Highly recommend!

Jane - Shanghai Tour review. We first met Jane at our Hotel and straight away she was asking what we wanted to experience. Issue for us is we didnt know so we asked her to show us what she thought best. The highlight for me was the park where the locals gathered at various ages and played music, danced and smiled. Watching wheelchair people smiling and dancing. My partner had a little dance and everyone is so friendly. Jane encouraged us to join in, learn the locals, have fun with the locals and more importantly smile and enjoy life at that moment. We went to various other locations, had lunch with Jane and enjoyed her presence with us. So we have had 4 tours since being in China and i would definately recommend Jane. When she talks you can hear the passion, you get the feeling she wants to educate but more involve you. When your in Shanghai get yourself a tour with Jane.. Also would like to credit the driver, tesla and water ready for you. Got out opened the doors. I forgot his name sorry

What an absolutely wonderful experience. Our driver Adam was very adept at tackling the traffic and getting us where we needed to be. Jane, our guide, with 30 years of guiding people through her native city of Shanghai. It was evident that she loved Shanghai and gave us a beautiful experience. We were guided to not only the important sites, but also through small markets, and explained everything fully. She even helped us to communicate with the merchants. We had lunch in a beautiful outdoor area. It was nice to people watch, and get the feel of the city. It was the most enjoyable learning experience we've had in China . 10 stars !!! Please if you really want to see Shanghai with a local, this tour is not to be missed. Make it a point to book with this tour. You won't be sorry.

Kelvin was amazing! He was born and raised in Shanghai, so he provided historical and personal context of the city that was invaluable. We learned so much and visited several popular sites! He even treated us to a hot pot lunch that was such a signature experience. Highly recommend this tour of Shanghai!!

Our guide Kalvin was excellent. Our driver was safe and reliable. We had early chats before the trip to discuss the day, and because of our preferences for historic architecture in Shanghai, our guide was chosen by the tour company to be a local, and we discussed the tour ahead. We had an extraordinary lunch with Kalvin and they kindly dropped us in a different location to suit us. We visited interesting places, learned, ate and had a great day!

Our guide, Jane, picked us up from the hotel as planned. We then proceeded to visit all the major spots and historic locations in Shanghai, from the Jade Bhudda to the Bund. At each location Jane clearly explained the history of the places. It is a long day with a fair bit of walking but we stopped for refreshment as required and Jane took us for a tasty lunch. We would highly recommend this tour and Jane as a guide if you want to get to know Shanghai in a day…

We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Shanghai with Jane, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better guide. From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to show us her city. It felt like spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend rather than being on a tour. Jane customized the day perfectly and made sure we got to experience both the iconic sights and the unique character of Shanghai. Walking along The Bund while she shared stories about the city's fascinating history and impressive skyline gave us a whole new appreciation for how Shanghai has evolved over the years. Visiting Yu Garden was another highlight, and Jane explained the history and symbolism behind the beautiful architecture and gardens in a way that made it so much more meaningful. We also loved wandering through the French Concession, where Jane pointed out hidden gems, historic buildings, and charming streets we never would have discovered on our own. The visit to Shanghai Tower was the perfect way to finish the day—the views were absolutely breathtaking, and Jane made sure we knew exactly what we were looking at as we admired the city from above. What really made the tour special was Jane herself. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, funny, and happy to answer every question we had. She paced the day perfectly, never making us feel rushed, and she even gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, cafés, and places to explore after the tour. Every recommendation was excellent! This was one of the best tours we've ever done and easily one of the highlights of our trip to China. If you're visiting Shanghai, this tour is an absolute must. And if you're lucky enough to have Jane as your guide, you're in for an unforgettable day. Snow was brilliant, knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had an amazing time on this tour looking at the new and old aspects of Shanghai. The tour involve the Yu gardens which was a magical place. Our driver Mr Chi picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. He was a fantastic driver, car was clean, water provided. We had lunch at a traditional restaurant where food was great, highly recommended spicy chicken. All up a 5 star trip and we would recommend Snow and Mr Chi and we would do this tour ourselves again when we return to Shanghai.

Jenny spoke great English and had a lot of great facts about the city. The tour is customizable which is really nice, because then you get to choose where you want to go.

I was apprehensive about booking a tour guide for a solo day experience in Shanghai, but I need not have worried. May is an excellent tour guide. May, our tour guide, took us on a very informative and extensive tour of Shanghai. She was very patient and and spent as much time as needed to tell us about the history and culture of this huge and beautiful city. I booked this tour for trip with my family. The tour went well. Alana was very prompt in providing us with the tour guide information. Berlin, our tour guide, was courteous, very patient and accomodating. We travelled with an elderly who is on a wheelchair. The driver was helpful and drove safely. My wife and I really enjoyed this tour. Jenny was a lot of fun with many interesting things to share. She explained she has been a tour guide for 15 years in Shanghai and it showed. The driver and her were very accommodating and travel from site to site was in a comfortable Tesla 3.

Jenny was a wonderful hostess! She had a driver that went with us all day which made the day so wonderful as the driver let us off at the front door and picked us back up in the same area! Jenny could speak great English which helped us so much! Our cruise ship only went to 2 places and no way could they have given us any personal treatment as there are over 50 people on the tour bus. Our wonderful guide Jenny gave us a VIP tour and we got to see the places our ship was going (without all the crowds) and she also added 5 more places! She took us to this market that had fresh Chinese tea and talked to the lady at the tea shop the whole time for us! We got to sample so many hot teas and we left there with some of that great tea to take back to the states! It is so hard to travel in a foreign country when we do not know their language so Jenny saved the day for us! The driver was so kind too ….always opening my door for me which made me feel so special. Alana (that communicated with us once I booked the tour) was great too and she knew our ship was leaving earlier than what our itinerary said before the ship had even told us! I was very impressed with this company from start to finish! Don’t hesitate- call this company and book your own private tour with them! We saw way more sights today than the people on our cruise ship and we felt sorry for them that they didn’t have the same opportunities and experiences that we had today! Shanghai is so very beautiful and everyone in China has been so kind to us! Thank you Jenny, Alana and our wonderful driver! We were bummed that our cruise ship only spent one day here as Shanghai is one of the most beautiful and cleanest cities that we have ever visited. Thanks again!

A fantastic overview of Shanghai. May our guide was exceptional, informative, really helpful and very friendly. We saw so many different aspects of this wonderful city. Alana her manager was also really helpful and upgraded our tour to add a free lunch (which was delicious) as the Yu gardens are closed on Mondays. Our driver was also excellent and the car very comfortable and air conditioned which helped a lot. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who has not visited Shanghai before. Great experience with Ms. Xin! The driver and Ms. Xin were very accommodating. I booked the tour the night before, after 9pm and they immediately reached out a few minutes after. They picked me up on time and The tour was at my pace. They asked if I wanted to see any additional things and they took me. Ms. Xin was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the city. I’m very glad I booked this tour. I learned a lot with the short period of time I got. Lunch was great!! They take you to a local place that happens to be Michelin rated z highly recommend this tour. Vehicle was new, water was supplied and I even got a fan to be with all day. Again, could not recommend more. Great experience.

I had a wonderful tour with Jenny exploring this beautiful city! We covered so many areas in a very short time, but I never felt rushed and she kept checking to make sure I was seeing everything I hoped to see. We went for a delicious authentic lunch with no tourists in the place. She also gave me tips on how to navigate the city for the rest of my trip.
