Great tour! Our guide Snow was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Despite the rainy weather, Snow was able to accommodate the itinerary to best suit us and even added in a great lunch stop!

Highly recommend this tour if you want to enjoy the highlights of Shanghai. Pre-tour communication was excellent, providing opportunity for us to shape our own itinerary. We left it up to our guide Jenny. She went over and above to ensure we had a great experience. History, culture, tea drinking, dumplings and great shopping along the way. A five star experience.

You can see allot of a city and places you never see on your own. With the personal car driver and guide it makes a lot easier.

Very good tour for the given time slot. Our guide Sophie was very kind, helpful and flexible for special wishes. We went on top of Shanghai Tower despite the rain. The very kind driver picked us up outside the city center. We had traffic jam, but managed all in time.

Kalvin was incredible! We booked the 4-hour Shanghai tour and ended up going well beyond four hours because he was determined to give us the best experience possible. Knowledgeable, engaging, flexible, and genuinely great company. This was one of the best tours I’ve ever done, if not the best. If you can request Kalvin, absolutely do it. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

We had an amazing evening exploring Shanghai with our guide, Judy! This tour was such a great way to experience so many different sides of the city in just one evening. The highlight was definitely Yuyuan Bazaar, where we tried both fried and steamed buns, which were absolutely delicious! Walking through the bazaar and taking in the traditional architecture was a wonderful experience. The Bund was another highlight, with incredible views of Shanghai's illuminated skyline. We also visited the financial district, where we got some fantastic photo opportunities surrounded by the impressive skyscrapers. We especially loved exploring the French Concession area. It had such a cool, contemporary atmosphere and was a wonderful contrast to the historic bazaar and modern financial district. We really appreciated Judy and the team accommodating our pickup and drop-off at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, which made the entire evening so convenient. Overall, this was a fantastic introduction to Shanghai, with a great mix of history, culture, food, and beautiful nighttime views. We had a wonderful time with Judy and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai

Judy was a great guide. Came on time, comfortable car and was very flexible with my request. She was knowledgeable about the history of the sights and the 4 hrs was apt for someone coming to Shanghai for a short trip. Highly recommended.

This tour was a fabulous experience. The itinerary was discussed prior to departure and settled based on what I had already seen. Kalvin was incredibly knowledgeable and the driver was polite and punctual. Kalvin shared so much information with me about the history of the city and his own life in Shanghai. He watched out for my safety, opened and closed the car door for me at every stop, maintained a casual pace and shared lunch with me. The dumpling and noodle lunch was delicious. I cannot fault any part of this experience. I'm so glad I did this tour....I feel like I really saw a great snapshot of Shanghai. Thank you Kalvin!

What a wonderful experience ! Alana is on top of the organisation w clear communication with whatsapp. The driver shows up on time. Then I had two wonderful guides - Ling for Yu garden and yuyuan market & Queeni for French Consession & the bund. They were knowledgeable, thorough, and eager to share facts about the places. Fluent in English they made for excéllent guides for this fantastic trip. Very convenient - roughly 5 hours with stops, visits, & driving to/from hotel. I recommend this STRONGLY!!! What an awesome tour!

I spent a half-day tour with Kalvin visiting some of the top sites in Shanghai: the Jade Buddhist Temple, Yu Gardens, Bund, and French concession. Kalvin is a wonderful guide with tons of experience and he gave me lots of interesting history and information everywhere we went. He is a native Shanghai resident and it was great to hear directly from him about how the city has changed and grown during his lifetime. He was also a really pleasant person to spend the day with! The driver was also very kind and very prompt picking us up from all the sites and the ride was comfortable. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants a bit of personal attention while visiting top sites in this beautiful city.

I had a brilliant tour today and my tour guide Kalvin, was absolutely amazing. He went to great lengths to make sure I saw everything I wanted, plus more. We were shown all the highlights by Judy, and Alana booked the tour for us. Alana was responsive and quick, got everything arranged for us with zero hassle. Judy was great, super knowledgeable, never rushed us, always checking in id we wanted to stop off somewhere if needed more food etc. gave us the best places to stop for food and was an absolute delight , so good that we did a 2nd tour with them the following day and we were shown around by Kalvin who was equally great. Will rebook with these guys when I am back

We had a wonderful time on this private Shanghai city tour with Kalvin! I did the tour with my family, and it was such an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The van that picked us up was spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made getting around the city very easy. Kalvin was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We learned a lot about Shanghai throughout the tour, and we never felt rushed. The tour was originally supposed to be four hours, but even after our scheduled time was up, Kalvin continued taking us to additional spots so we could see all of the important sights. We really appreciated him going above and beyond for us. Our tour was also upgraded to include a dumpling tasting and a tea ceremony, which were both fun additions and made the experience even more memorable. This tour was definitely worth it and was a great way to see and experience Shanghai, especially if you want to cover a lot of the city without feeling rushed. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour and Kalvin!

This tour was absolutely brilliant! If you want a good introduction to Shanghai and the popular spots, you’ll absolutely get it with the benefit of someone knowing exactly where to go and the history of the different locations. Also loved that it was a private tour because it was comfortable for ourselves and our almost 3 year old twin toddlers. Our guide Xin was super kind, helpful and informative - she would often take the helm and push one stroller for us. Thank you for a great tour, we loved it! And thank you too for showing us the best dumpling spot in Shanghai.

My guide can speak English very well. He was very kind & gentle. He got broad knowledge about China history. Car was very clean. Driver had good driving skills. I'm quite pleased.

Alana from the tour company was an excellent communicator - when my WeChat wouldn’t work we were able to communicate via text. She helped us meet up with our guide Kalvin when we started out in the wrong spot. Kalvin was an excellent guide. Out Didi driver dropped us off in the wrong location and Kalvin found us quickly with Alana’s help. The tour of old town & Yu gardens was great. Kalvin was very knowledgeable about Shanghai’s ancient and near history - giving lots of perspective about the changes and developments over time. He helped us to find a chopstick store where we could get chopsticks personalized. We wanted to try some local Chinese food so he got us a great sampling and when the restaurant was out of xiao long bao, even went to another restaurant to get some for us. He had a driver arranged to take us to the Shanghai tower, teaching us lots about the development of Pudong over the past 30 years. We went us the tower to the viewing floor (tickets not included in tour price) and came up with us to point out all the sights. We had finished up at the Bund where he advised we could hang out for lights at 7pm, or take the driver back to our hotel. Kalvin offered a very personalized and interesting insight into Shanghai - he instantly made my non-Chinese speaking family feel at ease. Overall recommend 100% - I wish we had more than 4 hours with him. Don’t hesitate to ask for Kalvin!
