No safe in the room, reception desk unfriendly (they ignore foreigners). Room itself is great, as is the shower. Restaurant open only for breakfast, no dinner (but there are lots of restaurants in the vicinity), there is no hotel bar. Air-conditioning in the room does not work well, refreshes but it does not actually get the temperature down. Would not want to stay here in summer. Bottom-line: next time we'll book another hotel.
Budget type hotel. Rooms are big enough for two people and there are all necessary things like towels, cosmetics, hairdryer. There is free of charge internet but I didn’t use it because there are restrictions to western apps incl. Google Maps. Food was typical local for our first dinner at the hotel. Prices for the alcohol drinks like beer, white and red wines are reasonable. Be sure you have downloaded a translation app because the receptionists don’t speak English.The hotel is clean, looks quite too.
It is a very nice and comfortable hotel, the breakfast is excellent!
Some staff aren't friendly. I called the front desk to give me water as I didn't let the room cleaned that day. The staff said next time I should let them know during day time, but she would still have the water sent to my room. Soon a robot brought me the water. I was wondering which hotel restricts guests to ask for water only in Daytime.
Excellent Stay in Shanghai! First time in Shanghai, and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were comfortable with a great selection of room amenities, and I enjoyed a peaceful rest each night. The view from my room was stunning, adding to the overall experience. While there isn’t a gym, the outstanding service from the staff more than made up for it. Highly recommend staying here! Plus, right next door is 复兴面王, a Michelin Guide-recommended noodle shop. The noodles were delicious and great value for money—definitely worth a visit!
