The Senz Hotel & Spa

Amazing location. Step out the front door, and you're at Lidoway, a pedestrian mall with loads of restaurants, Peet's coffee (excellent), pubs, live music, shops. Super convenient. The hotel itself is quiet. Comfortable room. Lots of choices at the breakfast buffet. Lovely staff.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The warm cookie at check-in was a lovely little detail and made us feel at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated how well the hotel was maintained. We also enjoyed the breakfast. There were many choices and it was a great way to start the day.The staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made our trip even more memorable. Def visit here again on our trip in 上海🫶🏻

Superb location for hongqiao train stn and airport. About 10-15mins by car depending on traffic. Newer hotel so very nicely furnished and does not smell of smoke. Very clean and comfortable, especially AC works well. Diamond members get upgrade to suite. I lost diamond for 4 months and would get the room booked and no upgrades. Came back as diamond and it is suite and fruit plate (well in a box) Breakfast is nice but indeed leans toward more chinese. There are some western dishes but why would you when they have fresh noodles/wonton/congee and fresh fried cruelers (youtiao). There is a street full of restaurants on Lidoway right next to the hotel. Convenient for Hongqiao but quite far from Shanghai City center or Bund (1hr ride).

The hotel is ok. The breakfast is Chinese typical. Rooms are spacious and clean - no reason for any complaints. However, the a la carte restaurant is medium to low. For the chef it’s for sure a problem, that there are practically no guests. Thus, everything takes long.
