The hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Shanghai, making it easy to get to almost every major tourist attraction, from the iconic Bund to the charming Wukang Mansion. We had a room overlooking Xintiandi, which was a lovely bonus! The neighbourhood is buzzing with energy day and night — there’s always something happening, so don’t expect the streets to go to bed before you do! Shopping malls are everywhere, making it dangerously easy to shop a little more than you planned. A special mention goes to DAO, a wonderful massage place within walking distance in Xintiandi. After a full day of sightseeing and shopping, it’s the perfect place to recharge your batteries (and your feet!). Overall, a fantastic base for exploring Shanghai. Great location, plenty of food and shopping options, and a lively atmosphere right on your doorstep. Just remember to leave some room in your suitcase for all the shopping! Mei Tuan locker is the entrance of the hotel for you delivery needs. you can either collect it or get it sent to your room.

We had an excellent stay at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi. The service throughout our stay was consistently warm, attentive, and professional. The location is excellent, with convenient access to multiple Metro lines, making it very easy to get around Shanghai. It is also ideally positioned for exploring the Xintiandi area and surrounding neighbourhoods. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping was particularly considerate and paid close attention to the small details, such as putting ties on our phone cords daily, which made the stay feel especially comfortable. A special commendation to Andy Chen, who was extremely helpful with our luggage and assisted us with our arrangements for getting to the airport. His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help made our departure completely stress-free. One area I would encourage the hotel to improve is lift access and monitoring, particularly in the evening. For guest safety and security, it would be reassuring to have stronger measures in place to ensure that the guest-room lifts are used only by registered hotel guests and authorised visitors. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and were very impressed by the service from the team. We would happily stay at The Langham Xintiandi again.
We had a wonderful stay at The Langham, and Andy Chen made our experience even better with his warm and thoughtful service. Andy was always incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. One moment that really stood out was when my husband and I were waiting for our DiDi ride with our luggage. Without us even having to ask, Andy noticed us, came over to help check when our ride would be arriving, and helped push our luggage outside so that we could simply wait comfortably for the car. It may seem like a small gesture, but it was this kind of attentiveness and genuine willingness to help that really made a difference. Andy was proactive, friendly and made us feel very well taken care of. Thank you, Andy, for making our stay at The Langham even more enjoyable. Your hospitality and excellent service did not go unnoticed, and we really appreciate everything you did for us!
I recently stayed at the Langham Hotel in Shanghai, and it was easily my favorite hotel of the trip. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and the fresh fruit and treats waiting in our suite were a lovely touch. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The spa and wellness facilities were fantastic, especially the indoor heated pool with its underwater sound system—a unique experience I absolutely loved. The location couldn’t have been better, with great shopping and restaurants just steps away. Between the service, amenities, location, and overall experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
The hotel is centrally located, and I really enjoyed the surrounding area. It is a great location for both business and leisure stays. The property has a classic luxury feeling. It may not be the newest hotel in terms of style, but it is still well maintained and has a strong sense of elegance. I especially liked the grand lobby hall with its high ceiling. The main restaurant and bar are both connected to the lobby area, which gives the space a lively business and social atmosphere. The outdoor terrace was also a very nice touch. The entry level room was a decent size and well maintained. The design felt a little more classic, but the comfort was there. I really liked the bathroom, especially the oversized shower area with both a bathtub and rain shower. We also had a small event at the hotel, and the catering and banquet team did a fantastic job. Everything was handled professionally and with good attention to detail, which made the event experience smooth and pleasant. Breakfast was decent, with a good mix of local and international options. It offered a bit of everything and covered the main needs for both business and leisure guests. Overall, this is a well located hotel with classic luxury style, a grand lobby atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and a strong event team. I had a positive stay and would recommend it for both business and leisure travellers.
