My family and I had an awesome stay at SSAW Hotel. The location is perfect and less crowded than Nanjing Road. The staff were friendly, and the room facilities were great too. We loved the shower—the pressure was just right and the water warm—and the Meituan robot delivery was a fantastic touch! We will definitely stay here again. ✨️
The hotel is very clean and well located, with everything you need nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food at the hotel restaurant is delicious, especially the gyoza! The city view from the restaurant is also beautiful, especially in the evening. Overall, a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Great, upper-class hotel at a fair, reasonable price. Its biggest plus is the location: not in the touristy epicenter of Bund and still either in walking distance to Bund or just next to a metro station connecting 2 lines. Yuyuan Garden and the ‘Old Quarter’ are in a walking distance of less than 10mins. The hotel itself is chic and modern, staff is super friendly. They literally even sent my toothbrush that I had forgotten in my room to my next travel destination - an outstanding service I very much appreciated. All in all a great experience in Shanghai!
Fabulous hotel. Cater for guests very well. Excellent breakfast, rooms, staff. Free laundry, water and mini bar top ups were invaluable in the humid period we visited. Great location to visit the Bund area. Lots of eating options. Couldn't fault this hotel. An Aussie in Shanghai it was fabulous.
Exceptional family stay at SSAW BOUTIQUE Shanghai We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at SSAW BOUTIQUE Shanghai. From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with its beautiful decor and welcoming ambiance in the common areas. The overall cleanliness throughout the hotel and our room was outstanding – everything was spotless. Our Family Room was large and spacious, which was perfect for us with teenagers. The bed and linens were excellent; the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were a thoughtful combination of a memory foam base with a soft duck/goose down top pillow. We slept very well every night. The hotel offers several lovely touches that made our stay even better: • Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby • Free laundry service (which was brilliant and much appreciated) • An excellently stocked mini-bar with free refreshments – a real bonus for a family stay • A good selection of toiletries in the bathroom • Complimentary drink vouchers on arrival, which was a lovely welcome gesture The rooftop terrace is a fantastic spot for drinks, and the small but well-equipped gym is there if you need it (we didn’t use it this time). The reception staff were very attentive and quickly provided extra pillows, towels, and bathrobes when requested. The only very minor observation was that the bathroom blinds didn’t fully obscure the view, which might feel slightly exposed if you have older children or teenagers sharing the room. Overall, we had a wonderful, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The combination of stylish design, excellent facilities, and genuinely helpful staff made this hotel a great choice in Shanghai. We would happily return and highly recommend it, especially for families.
