Skybird Hotel (Shanghai International Resort - Chuansha Metro Station Store)

Arrived and whilst waiting in the queue someone cut right in front of me and then got served. Whilst checking me in they didnt know how to do it so asked me to go to the other side. I went to the other side and proceeded to check in and half way through said come back to the other side. The reception is big and modern and featured a really nice looking pool table. If i wasnt so tired i would of checked it out. The location was 15 mins didi from Hongqiao train station and was easy to book a car. My stay was a bit of a nightmare. I had arrived after 12 hours travelling. It was extremely hot. I entered the room which was nice looking and clean with a huge tv. I turned on the air con but approx 15 mins later it was rising. Had gone from 26 to 28. I phoned reception who couldnt understand me so asked if i had wechat. They then said they would add me but they never did. So i went downstairs to tell them to take a look at the air con. They sent someone up who then said we gotta change ur room. So i packed all my things and went to the next room. This air con was working straight away. So i proceeded to remove my clothing and enter the shower, i then got a knock at door. I entered with robe around me- they said - we gave you the wrong room and you gotta change. So i then packed my things and changed room again to now the 3rd room. Turned on the air con in the new room and once again 15 mins later it had rose to 29 degrees. I went downstairs again and the guy come up and said air con broken and they gotta change my room. So now im on room 4. Packed my things and moved into room 4. This air con worked. I showered again. I slept well as bed is comfortable. I would stay here again due to the location and price and i hope this was just a 1-off bad experience.
