older property but well maintained and clean. there is not a whole lot within short walking distance, but didi / taxi is cheap and convenient from this location. breakfast buffet is pretty good, especially if you like Chinese breakfast. 24 hour executive lounge with coffee was a big bonus.

Overall, our stay in Shanghai was quite good. The hotel is clean and well-maintained despite the older facilities. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room tidy every day. The location is very convenient, close to the metro and easy for Didi pickups. The dining experience at Jing Restaurant was great, and the lobby bar serves good ice cream though it closes a bit early at 22:00. For the price, the panoramic view of the Huangpu River and Yangpu Bridge is spectacular and offers high value. However, our experience with the front desk during a typhoon-induced flight cancellation was disappointing. While the slow room service due to the crowd was understandable, the front desk lacked training. When I couldn't reach the airline and asked them to help call using a number I already had, the staff refused, claiming they didn't have the number. Later, when I requested a one-night extension, the front desk staff rigidly told me I had to rebook through the third-party platform I originally used. Fortunately, another front desk staff stepped in and professionally extended my stay directly in the system. Special thanks to Barry at the front desk for his professional and warm assistance during that chaotic situation. The hotel has a great foundation, but improving front desk crisis training would make the experience perfect.

Very nice hotel but staff needs more training. Confusing breakfast time/ reception says 6 AM, but restaurant is open at 6:30. Location is good for Pudong area activities, far from convention and downtown. Room is spacious and clean, but it was difficult to find night lights. No utensils (spoons, forks, knife). Restroom urinal on 1 st floor needs more privacy. The mirrors wall should not be there, should be replaced by non-reflective material.

A beautiful & comfortable hotel with friendly, attentive, & professional staff throughout the property. I would especially like to thank front desk receptionists Ms. Cassie & Ms. Sissi for their exceptional assistance whenever I had inquiries or needed help during my stay. The Executive Lounge is located on Level 1, which feels somewhat unusual & less exclusive compared to many hotels where lounges are typically situated on higher floors with better views. Nevertheless, the lounge offers a comfortable atmosphere and the warm hospitality provided by the staff more than makes up for its location. Overall, the excellent service, welcoming environment & genuine care shown by the team made my stay both pleasant & memorable.
