Nice hotel, quiet, comfy rooms. Food available in several areas of the hotel, reasonably priced too. Approximately 5 miles / 7 km to the Bund in town.

We walked in yesterday night, tried to get a room. Our flight had a bad delay and the first hotel we booked wasn’t real, so we decided to go to the Radisson Hotel. But that was a huge mistake!!!! It was around 3am in the morning, we were super tired and the man at the reception was sooo disrespectful!! He wasn’t even trying to sell the room, we asked for a little discount because it was 3am in the morning. After 10 minutes talking the man started to ripping of his fingernails!!!! After that he was getting a nail clipper and STARTED DOING IT IN FRONT OF US! In a 5 star hotel! That is so awkward! I would never come back
Hotel with beautiful views, great service, and a very comfortable atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were spacious, modern, and fresh. The room had everything we needed: coffee, a fridge, wardrobes, air conditioning, and the housekeeping was very good every day. The hotel itself also has restaurants, a spa, a gym, and other facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We were very happy with our experience. The city center is also quite convenient to reach — around 15 minutes by taxi. but Wifi was bad.
The Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai Yangtze is a long-standing favorite in the Hongqiao area, offering a blend of classic upscale hospitality and a highly strategic location for business travelers and transit-heavy visitors. Situated in the Hongqiao/Changning District, this hotel is perfectly positioned for those navigating the "new" heart of Shanghai’s commercial scene. Proximity: It is exceptionally close to the Shanghai Mart and INTEX Shanghai, making it the go-to stay for convention attendees. Dining Options: * Vitality: Their breakfast buffet is a massive spread that bridges the gap between Eastern and Western tastes (the noodle station is a must). Royal Court: For a more formal experience, their Cantonese and Shanghainese dishes are sophisticated and well-regarded by locals. Fitness & Pool: The health club features a large indoor heated pool and a well-equipped gym, which is rarely overcrowded. A Classic Vibe: This isn't a "trendy" boutique hotel. It has a more traditional, corporate luxury aesthetic. If you prefer ultra-modern, neon-lit interiors, this might feel a bit conservative #Radisson #Hotel #Yangtze
This hotel is dated, its 4 stars definitely not 5 stars. The room, bathtub, wardrobe are in need of an upgrade. Location wise, there are 2 metros with 2 lines near it. One is a 10-15 mins walk across the park, the other is a whoppin 25-30 mins walk from a bustling shopping area - nice that there's shopping and food, but 25 mins walk is too much. Breakfast wise, don't expect too much from a 4 star hotel. Pretty much same buffet everyday. Breakfast is until 10am but they started clearing at 9.50am, u asked them for soup noodles or eggs at the egg station, they looked at u and said sorry no more. The staff could use abit more training in good service - i was still eating and had my plates taken away without asking me, or even a polite smile. As for parcel delivery, other hotels I've stayed at would deliver the parcel to the room. This hotel expect you to go to a rack outside the hotel building to look for your own parcel among tens of parcels all left there. When you ask them nicely if they can help to collect for you from the rack, the concierge looked at you impatiently like why are you so pesky and troublesome. He ran into the room behind the counter, and got another guy to come out. The 2nd guy too had a black face and was unwilling to help. Really my 1st time with such poor service from a hotel. Complained to the manager. at least the manager apologised and made the 2nd guy deliver the parcel to my room, but he still had a super black face, as if I owe him millions of dollars. Geez. I've accidentally forgotten and left my teeth guard behind. Called the hotel to ask if they had found it, the person who answered the call was nice and helpful (for once some great service), but too bad they said they didn't see them. Overall, the manager and the person who answered the call had provided some decent service, otherwise it had been really unpleasant staying at this hotel. 1st and last time.
