Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Shanghai! All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay a truly pleasant experience. The hotel's location was excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring Shanghai. The breakfast buffet also offered a good variety of choices to suit different preferences. The room was generally comfortable, although there were a few minor maintenance issues here and there that could be improved. Nevertheless, these did not significantly affect our overall experience. A special mention goes to Davin and Leo, who went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Davin always greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, making us feel welcome every time we saw him. What impressed us most was his attentiveness and dedication to helping guests. He went out of his way to help us locate a parcel we had ordered, even though it had no clear identifying information. Despite the difficulty, he patiently assisted us in tracking it down. We were also pleasantly surprised by his ability to remember and recognise guests, which added a thoughtful and personal touch to his service. Leo on the other hand, went out of his way to help us purchase medication when we encountered difficulties using the local app, especially on a day when the weather was particularly stormy. A big thank you to the entire team for your wonderful hospitality! We truly appreciate all your efforts in making our stay so memorable. We would definitely love to stay here again and hope to see you all soon!

Not really sure how to rate this but I really wished there were more people talking about how some of the rooms are really old and scary looking with a very bad musty smell. The booking platform should be upfront of the age of the rooms because we already bought the second tier but were still given old (albeit big)rooms which did not match the images that were shown on the app. We upgraded the rooms in the end and those were perfect. The service was good at the hotel itself and the location is convenient. If they were more transparent about which tiers would get which rooms (bc the old and new rooms are the same size and the photos are all of the new rooms, it’s really hard to tell), I would stay again. But as it is, it’s too much of a gamble and I would avoid it.

From very first day everything was good. Atmosphere is welcoming and staff are friendly. Location is a big plus, making it easy to explore the area and get arround without wasting time on transportation. The room was clean and comfortable. The common area were well maintained. Breakfast has a lot of options to chose. I would lucky to met very proffesional and attentive receptionists Peter and William who helped me a lot during my stay. Their suggestions and overall help make my stay in china very pleasant

We had a wonderful stay in Shanghai, especially at this hotel. I would like to give a special shout-out to the amazing staff. First of all, I’d like to thank Martin at the front desk for being so kind and helpful. He gave us great recommendations and useful tips about the city, which made our trip even better. Most importantly, I would like to thank the entire concierge team for their exceptional help. They helped me recover my bag after I lost it in a different city (!). Special thanks to Jerry, who made the whole thing possible and even continued working on my case in the evening after his shift had ended. That level of dedication is truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire Radisson Blu team for making my stay such a smooth one. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
