Highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting this part of Shanghai. The hotel and rooms are very well kept and the staff are amazing. From the front of house staff at Breakfast to Helen who worked at the Executive Lounge were all so friendly and professional. The quality of the breakfast and the food in the executive lounge was really good, with vegan options 🌱 The metro line is right next door. Go check it out!
We had a great stay at Pullman Shanghai South. The staff were curteous and professional and the suite we booked was large with ample room for our family, plus conveniently located to both the train station and the excellent outdoor Vanke Mall - great for dining and parks.
Welcome to Pullman down to China standards: the door staff would only help you 1 time out of 3 with the luggage or the door, your non-smoking room will smell like an hash tray to the point that even your pillow and bedsheets will stink. The bar will be closed by 10pm. And finally they will charge you an extremely ridiculous 200 CNY for a breakfast.
Gorgeous and fancy hotel. If you are going to stay in Xanghai I recommend you try this hotel. One of the best hotel in the region, the service room is amazing. This hotel has many entertainment options, you can choose from pool and gym to massage. I totally recommend the visit.
The shower water mixture don't work. One moment cold, warm scalding. need to adjust constantly when in the shower. Same issue with my colleagues room. The concierge is not well run. no tracking system for packages received for delivery. Anybody can walk to the area and pick up packages not belonging to them. Don't happen with other hotels in china. First time I seen it thi bad.
