Reviews
We have mixed feelings about this hotel.
1. Good points - helpful front desk staff, Family Mart on ground floor, comfortable room, quiet, love the robots delivering food, love the hot spa pool!
2. Can improve - front desk table is so messy with the unsightly tapes on the desk, very bad PR, elderly concierge man is quite rude n loud, swimming pool was great but needs some good cleaning up as moldy walls near the pool, poolside area is messy, water foot area before you step into pool area is slippery with algae which i believe it’s quite dangerous for people to walk thru it, the men’s toilet at the pool was full of used towels n very messy n unclean so obviously the staff on 21st floor are not doing their job well. We wanted to swim everyday but after 2x we gave up going to the pool because of the condition.
Overall, we had an OK stay. We are confident Holiday Inn IHG can afford to improve this hotel. 👍
Today (30th March 2026) we arrived here. The lady who serves us upon check in is the worst. RUDE! She treats us like we are beggars when we are paying customers. NEVER AGAIN. Until they fix their customer service - please don’t come here!
This hotel offers excellent value and a convenient, central location. The check-in process was a pleasure, both cordial and expedient. My status was recognized, and I was offered an upgrade.
While the hotel feels a bit dated, from the lobby to the guest rooms, everything is clearly well kept and maintained. The bed and pillows were to my liking, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The only significant downside was the breakfast area. It felt far too small, and the food offerings were lacking, to say the least.
Despite that, I would still highly recommend this hotel. For the price, the value is simply unbeatable.
We stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Vista for 5 nights and had a great and wonderful experience!! The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient, the room was very clean, and the free laundry service was a big plus. These thoughtful services really made my stay comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommended! We will certainly return for our next trip. 👍👍
As a business traveler, I value comfort and convenience and that's why I like this hotel. Although the rooms are a little dated already, the hotel's location makes it a great place to stay. It's in the middle of a commercial area with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from, parks even, all within walking distance. Plus, the hotel staff are very friendly from the doorman to the restaurant staff and the front desk people and manager.
