For the price, it was surprisingly good. The breakfast was amazing too with a lot of choices and plates. I had a flight early the next morning, and they were kind enough to give small paper bags with food to act as breakfast. Rooms were good too, nice and spacious. The curtains and lights are all controlled by buttons, which can be a bit annoying when you want to manually control the lights and curtains. The gym was quite small considering the size of the hotel, though it was not overly crowded. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers in the laundromat, which is not ideal, considering the number of people using it. Overall though, happy experience. Definitely worth the money, and a must pick if you have an early flight at PVG.
Our stay at Holiday Inn Pudong Airport was excellent. The hotel is very accessible, and there are several restaurants conveniently located below the hotel.
The room was spacious, clean, and modern. I especially loved the bathroom, which features advanced technology similar to Japanese smart toilets. It was a unique and comfortable experience. The hotel also has a robot that delivers items directly to your room, which was a fun and impressive touch.
The bed was very comfortable and incredibly spacious, making our stay even more relaxing.

A wonderful airport hotel experience that pleasantly surprised us. The hotel is connected to the airport via a dedicated tunnel with clear signage. A bit of a walk, but very easy to navigate. The staff, even at midnight, were incredibly welcoming and kind, and even generously offered us a complimentary late checkout. A really nice touch for weary travelers!
The facilities are modern and a refreshing respite after a long day of travel. Special thank you to Jett, who kindly helped us with our heavy luggage through some crazy long hallways despite the late hour. Overall, a perfect airport stay with excellent service and comfortable accommodations. Room service ends at 2 am and there’s a foot massage place downstairs. Highly recommended staying here!
I stayed here for one night before an early flight. The free airport shuttle service is incredibly convenient and makes this hotel perfect for long layovers.
The room was quiet, perfectly equipped, and spotless the bedsheets were flawlessly ironed and even the showerhead was gleaming. The front desk staff were wonderful and super helpful when I kept asking for extra water.
Breakfast is included, though it's heavily geared toward Chinese cuisine. If you want a sweet, Western-style breakfast, the options are limited to fruit and yogurt.
Overall, a stress-free, clean, and highly recommended stay for transit travelers!

The hotel feels very new, and the room was surprisingly spacious and modern. One thing though — the hallway is LONG 😂 If you have luggage, I highly recommend using the luggage cart all the way to your room.
Check-in and check-out were both super easy and smooth. We also received welcome drink coupons (1 per person), which was a nice touch. What surprised me most was that the hotel kindly allowed late check-out until 2 PM — honestly didn’t expect that from an airport hotel and really appreciated it.
The staff were very friendly too, and I even met Thai staff there (I’m Thai 🇹🇭), which made the stay feel extra welcoming. The airport is within easy walking distance, and there’s also a 24-hour convenience store near the hotel, which was super convenient after a late arrival.
Overall, a very comfortable and stress-free stay for a short airport stopover
