Holiday Inn Shanghai Jinxiu

New name, same great location! The staff here are lovely ☺️ but the smoke smell in the room is a bit of a letdown. Hopefully, they can clear it up soon!! ☺️

I super recommend the hotel, especially the restaurant and its staff. Mr. Thomas Chen has been attending us at the restaurant no matter what time, making us feel at home. He is amazing, super attentive and effective. Additionally, Mr. Vanness, who takes care of guests during breakfast and lunch, is proactive, straightforward and kind. Another valuable staff member.

I like this area. Not so busy and a good choose of local restaurants. I also enjoyed the gym and especially the nice atmosphere. The hotel is not my preferred choose. Walls are very thin and you can really hear everything what happens in the room next to you. The staff was not enjoying their job. The food was disappointing. The bar was mostly empty.

Rooms are clean and nice. Staff are helpful. As for the location, there is a small mall nearby. Plenty of food. About 15mins walk to the nearest tube station. The gym at the hotel is a little bit of a let down. It has plenty of cardio and weight equipment however it is not properly maintained. I've come here a few times and I see the condition keep getting worse. So many patrons are not appropriately dressed for gym as they are using barefoot to work out. Dangerous usage of weights and the staff does not educate them. Cardio machines are not wiped properly. A lot of sweat on the floor. Makes the place a disaster waiting to happen.
