I had an excellent stay at this hotel in Shanghai. Everything was perfect – the rooms were clean, comfortable, and the overall service was outstanding.
I would especially like to thank Tommy Tang and Vicky for their exceptional hospitality. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel very welcome from the first moment and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

Great stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai. 😍The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station with a small mall, supermarket, and many restaurants nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and modern, with an AI assistant “Xiaodu” to control curtains, lights, and TV.🤖🙌
All staff were friendly and attentive, especially Tina Zhang, who was very kind and helpful with excellent service mind. Overall, a very pleasant stay — highly recommended. 5 stars.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I had a wonderful time at the start of the new year 2026 at the Holiday Inn, and this was my first visit to Shanghai. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and safe. The reception was fantastic; Tommy Tang was cheerful, helpful, and had a great attitude. Lawrence Panda was also amazing and incredibly helpful. There was also a curly-haired employee whose name Vicky yu she was incredibly polite. The food was delicious! 🥰😉 The people gave me a wonderful impression of the Chinese people and of China. I will definitely return to this beautiful country. 🤍🩷🤍
Stayed for 3 days during June 10-14 checked out 1 day earlier eventough paid for the full duration. Service very bad stuff unfriendly not helpful at all. Asked for packed breakfast had to check out at 6:00am could not pack single bread for early check out. Bathroom very old very dirty no hot water for one whole evening had to take cold shower. Ordered twin bedroom but got a room with queen size and small extra bed
Exceptional Experience at This Hotel
As a world traveler, I can confidently say that this hotel made me feel right at home. My stay was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy room and perfectly functioning AC, which was crucial during Shanghai's record-breaking heat wave.
The restaurant downstairs provided a delightful variety of breakfast options. Alongside the standard Holiday Inn fare, there were numerous additional Chinese breakfast choices, catering to all tastes.
The staff were exceptional—helpful, attentive, and efficient. The receptionists made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. I must extend special thanks to the manager, Mr. Song, who was tirelessly dedicated and always visible, whether at the front desk or in the restaurant. He went above and beyond to assist me with a personal issue, making my stay even more pleasant.
Originally, I planned to stay at various locations in Shanghai for two days each. However, I changed my plans and decided to stay here for nine days instead. This hotel truly felt like a home away from home.
