The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance to popular attractions like Yu Garden and the Bund. We stayed in rooms 202 and 222, but nights were noisy—sleep was difficult whenever we opened the window. Unfortunately, the rooms felt stuffy if we kept the windows closed, and since the building has no air conditioning during December, ventilation was an issue. Laundry facilities were limited, with only two washing machines and two dryers, so queuing was inevitable. On top of that, the dryers weren’t reliable: one didn’t heat properly, and the other had a door that kept popping open mid-cycle. When it stopped, other guests would simply remove the clothes and use the machine themselves—frustrating! Housekeeping was basic; essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and tea bags weren’t replenished regularly. Overall, the stay was fine thanks to the convenient location, but it’s best suited for travelers who don’t expect much beyond the basics.
Love the location just 2 min walk from Nanjing east metro station. Room is a bit smaller than other Ji hotel but still good. Unfortunately my room still wet when I got in also got a very bad smell of dirty mop, so I had to clean and dry the floor myself. The maid was there and just look at me doing that without any help. Anyway I put my own baby power all over the room to solve the smell problem.
The room is a bit small but very nice, clean and fully equipped. The TV is very big. The toilet is clean and beautiful and the toilet has an automatic flush sensor. The downside is that there is only one elevator so it is a bit inconvenient so my family often walks down. Location is excellent, next to a 1 star Michellen restaurant ChengLongHang and just 200meters away to Ninjang Road as well as Metro Line 10
Room was ok. Frontline employees not the friendliest. While checking in, I requested to utilise the washroom at the lobby, which required an access card. After 10 minutes of waiting and trying, I asked the front desk again, he rebuked me it didn’t require an access card to enter. Apparently, the lobby washroom is ‘forever occupied’. Hotel location is strategic, as it is less than 100m from the Nanjing Street and metro. Surrounded with restaurants, McD, cafe, bakery and a tiny convenient store adjacent to the hotel.
