The hotel is old, the rooms are damp, the air conditioner has a strong musty smell and is very noisy. The hallway smells strongly of smoke, which even drifts into the rooms. The bathroom water pressure is weak, the shower drains poorly, and water accumulates. The mattress is very soft and offers no support whatsoever. The soundproofing is poor; on the first morning of my stay, I could hear people talking next door (clearly audible). There are no shopping malls or chain supermarkets nearby. One review mentioning a shopping mall similar to Xintiandi nearby is likely a mistake; this hotel is in Kangqiao, not Hongqiao. Those who prioritize cleanliness can skip this hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was decent, and the free shuttle bus to Disneyland was convenient. The staff at night had limited English, but the lady who works in the morning spoke really good English and was super friendly and helpful. The rooms don't have the best views, but they were quite spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The design and overall feel of the hotel seemed up to date and well-maintained. If you walk down the same street toward the subway station, there are local restaurants and convenience stores as well. The accommodations were clean, and the free Disney shuttle bus was convenient. The breakfast was also good. The best part was the clean room and comfortable bed, and the hotel felt well-managed. The hairdryer works really well!
