Dorsett Shanghai

We recently stayed at the Dorsett Shanghai (上海帝盛酒店) for 4 nights, and it was the perfect choice for our family.The hotel itself is modern and clean. We booked a family room, which came with a comfortable king-size bed that was absolutely ideal for us traveling with a small child. As a huge bonus, the room featured a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom that included both a separate shower and a bathtub, which made bath time with a toddler incredibly easy.The location is where this hotel truly shines:Transport: The metro station is just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to reach any major attraction in Shanghai within 30 minutes.Conveniences: There is a Luckin Coffee right inside the hotel building for a quick morning caffeine fix, and a FamilyMart convenience store nearby for snacks and essentials.Surroundings: The hotel sits just in front of a beautiful park, providing a lovely view and a nice place to walk. There are also plenty of great dining options within walking distance.The hotel does offer a breakfast buffet, but it was not included in our room fare so we did not try it. However, with so many great options nearby, finding food was never an issue.We had a fantastic, stress-free stay and would highly recommend the Dorsett Shanghai to any families visiting the city!

1. Park side rooms are the best. Such good view you get that you wont want to leave the room! 2. Food at breakfast was decent 3. Service was ok for the size and scale they operate in. Nothing felt extraordinary 4. LOCATION- their best point. A big park right in front of the hotel. Can spend evening here- people dancing in groups, some community events, some exercise groups. You can take a run around the park. Too many restaurants and shops nearby. Best- Metro right below the hotel taking you to literally anywhere- especially Nanjing road, Science Technology center, Both Airports and Longyang Rd St. For Maglev too. Location is their best SP.

Stayed here during my trip to Shanghai for an industrial expo. The staff were polite, spoke English, and even upgraded me to a duplex room. The complimentary breakfast had good vegetarian options.The Metro runs directly beneath the hotel, with the station entrance right next door, very convenient for getting around. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores are also located nearby.

Would like to thank room cleaning staff on our checking out day 19Feb.2026 My mum left amount of cash in bed under the pillow,only realized couple of hours later. She managed to get all back later thanks to the room cleaner and checking out staff, pity she didn't get names of them. Location is great ,above the Metro. Internet is fast. Balcony door can be opened in my room. Free self laundry. Pity i wasn't offered room on higher level with Century Park view for my 5 day stay.
