What a wonderful place to stay!!! Especially if you are embarking on a cruise ship. It is so convenient, it is close and classy! The food dinner and breakfast is amazing such a variety. The rooms are impeccable and the bathroom is just luxurious.
you will need to take a taxi to main attractions. there is public transportation near by but travel will take longer. It is a very impressive hotel with a nice fitness center and indoor pool. However, the limited hours of the fitness center and swimming pool is a disappointment, and hoping for an improvement on this in the future.
The deco of the hotel and it’s rooms are grand, including bathtub that reminds me of Savoy in London. The toilet is japanese toto toilet that has pre-installed bidet. Food wise for breakfast it has sufficient seating and variety for it’s pricing although by Chinese standards it may be considered within expectations ( but by western standards it would certainly exceeds). Big gym. Have washing machine for self washing. Location if using Didi would be fine, although less availability than other places. I would definitely return. Good value for money!
Wow the outer design of the hotel looks like a castle. The statues and water features outside make it feel so grand. English speaking friends out there not to worry the staff are able to communicate in English too. I dare say the room service is one of the best. Not sure why the cleaning staff helped out in folding the clothes in the cupboard + in the luggage bag. Excellent breakfast buffet they do change some of the dishes daily.
The entrance hall is impressive. High ceiling, old looking furniture. Looks better than the photo. The room was clean and quiet. The electronics for the toilet bowl annoyed me but that was a small point. One of the suitcases was looked and the key was lost. Hotel was able to cut the look. Very large selection of food for breakfast. Pricing good. Started at about 140 AUD for a room
