Our guide was Carmela, very pleasant, gave a bit of history as we rode, walked VERY fast through the 2 white villages, pointing out a few sights, we had a little free time, had lunch, arrived in Ronda, walked very fast to the bridge, stopping 2x to give a bit of history, left us at the bridge with no history of the bridge, had free time, drove back to Seville. Carmela was very pleasant and willing to answer questions, I thought she should have given more history of the bridge as it was the reason for the tour! I felt she was not dressed professionally.

Weather forecast was bad for afternoon and your company was aware of this. The highlight I feel of this trip was Ronda which time afternoon came we couldn’t get of the bus as rain was so torrential! I felt it should have been changed on the day to do ronda first? As it was the main attraction of this trip for most booking it . The olive oil farm could have been last as the tasting session and shop we under cover !
Great Day Trip to White Villages and Ronda Guided Day Tour from Seville
This was the kind of day in Spain that stays with you long after the journey ends - full of dramatic landscapes, unexpected moments and the unmistakable magic of Andalusia. Driving to the white villages, we had an unexpected visit to the olive oil factory including an olive oil tasting - which was much fun . The white villages themselves were spectacular. I particularly liked the first one we went to - Zahara. It was so wonderfully serene. Our guide was entertaining throughout, keeping a bus full of people engaged and excited about every upcoming stop. She also shared the stories and history of the places we were visiting in advance, giving us a much richer context for each one. The bus ride itself was fantastic, made even more dramatic by the thick, dark October clouds. By the time we reached Ronda, it had started pouring, and there was a good chance that we’d have turn back around without seeing the much-awaited gorge and Puente Nuevo. But after a little wait, the skies finally relented! Thanks to our guide’s meticulous planning and clear instructions, we managed to experience the stunning views after all. The drive back felt like we were chasing the sunset all the way. Our bus driver was excellent, and the soft music created just the right atmosphere for a peaceful snooze or a dreamy journey into the horizon. If you want to experience the best of Andalusia in a single day without feeling rushed, this tour is an easy choice. From olive oil and white villages to Ronda’s unforgettable gorge, every stop offered something special and the changing skies only made the adventure more memorable. Do this and you’ll leave with a day you’ll be talking about long after Spain.
I’m writing this while still on the coach back. If I don’t make it back to Seville tell my family I loved them. First of all the guide Fouad was great really friendly and knowledgeable (especially about Orson Wells) and can speak 3 languages fluently, much to my British shame. The problem is how long everything takes. We had 4 days in Seville and are currently doing this on the 4th (and possibly 5th and 6th) day. I would definitely suggest spending a 4th day doing stuff in Seville rather than this tour. We left at 9am spent 45 minutes at an olive oil factory (very good by the way), about the same at the first village, 1 hour 30 at the next place and 2 hours at Ronda. The remaining SIX HOURS AND COUNTING!!!! 😱😱😱😱. Were spent on a bus. It is a comfortable bus and it is currently being bribed very well, but it is still a bus. I could be in a bar in Seville right now. Overall the villages were fine - once you’ve seen one white coloured house I suggest you have the blueprint for the day. The bridge at Ronda is very impressive - definitely worth a good 30 minutes. Ultimately save yourself the time and money and stay in Seville if you are visiting for any less than 7 days. Even then, only go if you really like looking at olive trees for eternity.
Very good trip . Karlos our guide was very fluent in English, was very knowledgeable and gave us clear instructions at each location. He answered everyone's questions. Great character and sense of humour. The driver too was very good. I loved the olive oil tasting. Not enough time to look around after lunch but this was made up with more than ample time in Rhonda. Also gave us information on places to eat in Seville.
Merce was our phenomenal tour guide!! She was exceptional with speaking English and Italian!!! I enjoyed being able to hear our tour in both languages and didn’t miss anything! Our driver, Diego, was incredible as he maneuvered our coach bus along extremely narrow roads! We especially loved our olive grove and refinery! Our lunch in Rondo was amazing!
The listing was misleading. We expected a big group tour but not 50 people speaking two languages . The listing stated “must have four in order to make the tour” that leads you to believe that it is a relatively manageable size, not 50 people. 2/3 of the bus were Spanish speakers. And they received a much more detailed tour. I speak enough Spanish to realize how little information was conveyed to us in English. We learned that goat cheese comes from goats, olives are the main produced, and that the French invaded. There were a few other small details, but really not much.
We had 2 guides who were good! Coco and Toni? A tall guy who was good. We loved Zahara, enjoyed the olive oil tasting and had lunch at Grazalema. It's a windy road there so take some Dramamine. Then on to Ronda. The gorge was interested. City was getting ready for it's bullfghting feast. To us Ronda was underwhelming. Made famous by Americans and touristy. I would recommend for a one time.
Tour was well paced with plenty of time at each location. Condition of the bus was very good, with comfortable seats and usb outlets available at each seat to keep your electronics charged. I highly recommend Naturanda based on their clear communication, centrally located meeting offices, and organization. Maria was our tour guide. She provided excellent commentary throughout the excursion.
Really enjoyable day trip, Pia and Martha were great guides and their recommendation for lunch was spot on. The coach was very comfortable too. All in all a worth while trip to see the beautiful white villages and the wonderful sights of Ronda.
My husband and I, our son and his wife, and three older grandchildren enjoyed the day with Tia. She was a wealth of knowledge! I personally liked the organic farm visit where we tasted different olive oils, and enjoyed the marvelous views. The white villages were just as nice as Ronda, which gets all the press, due to the ravine. Tia gave us hints as to where to go and what to do in Ronda. While the younger ones hiked down into the ravine, my husband and I enjoyed a drink on the fourth floor of a hotel that looked right down into the bull ring. It was an extremely hot day, but still wish we'd had more time. It was a fabulous day exploring Spain from Seville!!
We absolutely do not recommend it. Firstly, this tour, marketed as a Ronda excursion, included visits to two separate, unremarkable villages, and the route to reach them was extremely difficult. We arrived in Ronda at 3:30 PM and returned at 5:00 PM, so we didn't get to experience the real Ronda. The information provided by the guide regarding food and other necessities was neither accurate nor helpful. It was a complete disappointment.
Pia and Rebecca were our guides for the day and they were both excellent. They were genuinely friendly, generous with the history and information about the places we visited and the landscapes we passed through and helpful in every way. Thank you so much!
If you are looking for a long drive to snap photos at amazing scenes and move on, the Ronda and White Villages Tour may be for you. But having now taken several day excursions in three European countries, I think there are better uses of time and money. For this tour, the scenery in the White Villages and Ronda is without doubt utterly spectacular and I'm very glad to have seen it. What I would do differently is simply stay in Ronda for a day or two and experience the town and surrounding area that way. Here’s why I think that is preferable. First of all, this is a long, hard day. We started out at the meeting point in Seville around 9 am, then walked (and walked and walked) a very long way to a bus, then drove across town, disembarked and got on another bus before departing. It was a slow and ominous start. We then drove through gorgeous southern Spain to the first stop - the White Village of Zahara - for a very brief stop to snap photos, walk quickly through town and crab a coffee before dashing off to Grazalema for lunch. This was basically redundant: both villages offer amazing views, but one stop would have exposed us to the beauty of the White Villages. Grazalema was supposed to be a special place for eating, but the restaurant we were led to was just ordinary. By the time we finally got to Ronda we had 2 hours to visit this special place. That was enough time to walk around the main square and famous bridge area, snap more photos, find a restroom, and grab some gelato, but not adequate time to visit anything. We passed through, that’s it. Be aware also that there is a lot of walking on this tour, mostly to and from the bus. In all we walked over 5 miles according to our Apple Fitness App. Now, I didn’t mind the exercise, but if you have any mobility issues or tire easily, forget about trying this tour, especially in the heat of summer in Spain. You need to be in top shape and able to walk miles, which I don’t think was adequately conveyed in advance. In short, so as long as you understand that this is a ten hour bus-walk photo shoot, fine. If you only have one day and want to see this amazing corner of the world fast, this may be for you. The scenery was truly amazing. But these tours try to do too much in one day and end up rushed. My advice is to stay a night (or two) in towns like Ronda and see more historic sites, museums, and shops at more reasonable pace. We were so exhausted returning to Seville — facing another long walk to our hotel — that we skipped another planned day trip to Jerez and Cadiz the next day and just relaxed in Seville at an art museum. You may find you’re better off cramming less in and savoring more of what you see.
The group was too large. There were too many languages on the bus which made the experience feel very hectic. The first stop was really unnecessary since the town wasn’t very special.
Cannot fault the tour, I guess. Comfy charter bus, left a half hour late- pretty easy. But tour? No. Our guide Carlos seemed very knowledgable ON THE BUS RIDE OUT. A continual stream of consciousness chatter about the sights along the way, marriage, etc. when you arrive in Ronda? Nada. No tour- you’re on your own. And, not for nothing- and maybe it’s just me, but I could not understand 90% of Carlos’ English. It was a blessing tho as I caught only a fragment of his treatise on something about pregnancy and your left hand.
What a great tour by Jesus (would you expect less...?). The White Villages and Ronda are not to be missed. Beautiful - and another part of Spain that is not commonly seen. If you tend towards motion sickness however, I recommend that you take something in advance as the switch-back up and down the mountains is sometimes difficult.
An excellent day all round. Our guide was Laura who was very knowledgeable and fun, and we were also impressed with the drivers ability to get round the many hairpin bends! Laura had great suggestions and recommendations on how to spend our free time. We highly recommend visiting this beautiful area with this tour.
Karlos was a great tour guide, answered all our questions. Very well spoken and easy to understand. Go KC!
Ronda was very impressive, especially the views of the gorge, from the bridge, and from Alameda del Tajo. We were not able to get to Grazalema because of a fair and roads being closed to buses. Naturanda does not include Setinel de las Bodegas on their day trips. So we only saw the white village of Zahara de la Sierra, the least impressive of the three. Our driver was great. Our guide, Petra, was very friendly but not very knowledgeable.
Laura was an amazing tour guide. She was informative and gave some great ‘secrets’ to make this tour memorable. Antonio was an amazing driver. It’s not easy making those ‘hair pin’ turns on the country hill in a tour bus. I felt completely safe.
An excellent tour of two white villages followed by visit to Ronda. Very informative and friendly guide. Exceeded expectations.
Amazing experience! Tour guide Petra was very energetic, and beautiful personality. Places we went were amazing!
Excellent tour guide with Raye! He was so knowledgeable about everything and more! Loved all 3 places! Especially the last part of Ronda and our lunch was delicious! The bus situation could have been smoother in the beginning but the driver was fabulous!m
The sights were amazing. Bus driver a magician. Tour guide could have given more context and detail. Olive oil tour was just fill, poorly shown and explained. Overall worth doing for the sights. The town square for lunch was the best choice, not the reccomended restuarant
Everething qas great safety. Our guid Gabriel qas just great. Thank you fir everething! I ll recomnd you to my friends
We had an amazing experience on the Ronda and White Villages tour! Everything was very well organized, and the views were absolutely breathtaking—from the stunning white villages to the dramatic cliffs of Ronda. Our tour guide, Laura, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and kept the group engaged the entire day. Her storytelling and attention to everyone made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was the olive oil tasting, which was both interesting and delicious. We also had a wonderful lunch in Grazalema, a beautiful village with such a charming atmosphere—it was the perfect stop to relax and enjoy local food Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable day. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Laura as your guide!
This tour started out a poor footing and did not improve much. It seemed very disorganized and, despite being there at the appointed time, several of us were waiting at least 20 minutes for directions on where to go. Finally, when we were on the bus, the tour guide told us and several others that we had to be moved to another bus when we got to the second pick-up location. We arrived at the second pickup location and the guide left the bus. We waited in the bus for 44 minutes when the guide returned to us and said something about the traffic. We waited awhile longer and finally those of us who were selected to join a different bus were ushered off. We started our tour finally. The tour was in French and English which is not a problem for me but my partner only spoke English. I know the guide doesn’t have a script but more information was given in French than in English. The tour to the villages and Ronda was essentially self-guided. The guide gave us directions to find our way to best spot in Ronda for the iconic photos and we were on our own. Ronda is interesting with lots of history but the guide didn’t talk about that. We used aviator often on our travels but we were very disappointed and would not recommend this tour. You are better off to book a very small tour or private tour to get someone who gives more information.
An excellent day out with a well informed guide. A great way to see the villages and Ronda. Very interesting and scenic.
Pia is very good. Great at giving tips. Hard working!
The trip itself was poor the first White village i would say there is nothing there 2nd white village was better ronda is nice but at all locations you are dropped away from bus to a meeting point which reduced time On first pick up point I had to stand for the 10 minute journey where we changed bus asbs was over booked On the way back at no point where we told that we would not be taken back to the original pick up point We were dropped 40mins walk from original pick up and was told by guide just use Google maps to find my way back The 2 guides where juanra and Daniel
Great tour of the villages, plenty of time in Ronda, bridge walking is a must , great pic opportunity ........................
Well organized tour! We had a great time seeing the White Villages and Ronda. Our tour guide is great!
Pai was an excellent guide. She spoke with clarity and showed us all the interesting spots. She also went out of her way for her fellow crew members kudos to Pia. 5 star!
It was a rainy day for our White Villages and Ronda tour but we are so glad we went. Carlos was our tour guide and we had an amazing driver navigate the winding and wet roads. The White Villages were lovely to see and we had lunch at one of the restaurants in Grazalema. We learned some interesting facts at the old olive mill. The highlight was Ronda. The views of the cliff were stunning.
The pickup point was very easy to find. The bus was comfortable. Ronda and the white towns visited were very beautiful. The trip was made extra special by the tour guide Antonio Javier who was knowledgable, funny, and loud. Highly recommended.
Villages are pretty but if you go to the recommended restaurant for lunch there is no time left to explore second village. Trip to the bridge viewing point in Ronda is worth the walk but lots of steps and slopes so need to be reasonably fit. Make sure you're quick to get off the bus as the guide has a tendency to move off, saying "Follow me" before everyone was off. We almost missed where she went in the second village and some members of the party couldn't keep up on the way back to the bus so they got lost. Luckily she found them but we were late leaving.
Very interesting & beautiful places to visit. The surrounding countryside is fascinating. Thin road areas for a large coach, but the driver handled it well!
Fabulous day out to visit some beautiful villages and a lovely afternoon in Rhonda. Our host, Jose Luis was very entertaining and made the day for us!
Beautiful towns, our guide Luiseme excellent, very friendly, connoisseur of history, open to any question, will recommend to anybody.
Catherine is an excellent tour guide!! She is French as I asked ("I am a frog "- she said) and it really made me laugh! I think she's a comedian and we had such a lovely time listening to her knowledgeable stories...the cork trees the vultures, the painted houses. It was really really fun and because everyone else in the group were French, (even though both of us were English); the French just kept on laughing with her comments..it was really lovely!! Even when Jackie didn't turn up for the meeting point, she phoned her...again we all laughed about that too as she had to run! I definitely recommend her ...as I say ... she's excellent!!
We were looking forward for our trip to Pueblos Blancos and Ronda. We were disappointed that there was limited explanation about the places we visited and that Viator did not use headphones for our 40 person group.
Super day trip to the white towns of Zahara and Grazalema and Ronda. All places very worth visiting, but also the bus trip itself interesting (thanks in large part to the guide). Really great lunch at a restaurant recommended by the guide. Great driver, very calm and confident driving on a very challenging road in places. But above all, the guide Antonio fluent in English and French, who with great passion, humor and above all knowledge talked about various aspects of the visited places (not only history or architecture). And at the same time he was very well organized and able to lead a fairly large group without any problems. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
I had a wonderful experience on this trip! Alberto was a fantastic guide he explained everything clearly, had a great plan, and made sure we always knew what to expect. We never felt lost or unsure at any point. He was always there if we needed anything, and it was clear that he had a lot of knowledge about the places we visited. Overall, it was a well-organized and enjoyable day. Highly recommended!
The day tour was wonderful and the guide Alberto was professional and very friendly. I would highly recommend to take this tour if you are visiting Seville.
Our tour guides, Alberto and Laura were both excellent. They were professional, polite and friendly. The tour was well curated and the commentary informative. The Pueblos Blancos are amazing and Ronda is just stunning. I’m sometimes a little suspicious when guides recommend a place for lunch. I needn’t have worried, Restaurante Cadiz el Chico did not disappoint; the Jabalí en salsa de frambuesas (Wild boar in raspberry stew) was excellent and wouldn’t be out of place in any top restaurant. 10 hours is quite a long day but the pace of the tour is perfect and we arrived back in Seville feeling surprisingly fresh.
Guide was 30 mins late, his information lacked interesting narrative, no storytelling, no insight, no imagination. Dull. Slovenly appearance and didn’t inject any sense of excitement or illumination about this very fascinating place. We felt like we learned almost nothing more than if we’d toured without a guide. Walked away nonplussed.
First of all the tour is a long one lasting 10 hours but it was worth every penny with our guide Merce making the day really special for everyone. After about 90 minutes you are treated to the beautiful white villages of Zahara de la Sierra and Grazalema with a visit to a traditional olive farm thrown in as well. A must to visit is also, the restaurant in Grazalema the Mirador San Diego which was an absolute treat. We finally arrived in Ronda for a couple of hours and followed Merce around the town to all the sights with some great little tips from her as well to make sure we got the best photos of the bridge and gorge. We arrived back in Seville at 7:30pm after a thoroughly enjoyable tour, it was well organised with comfortable air conditioned coaches and an amazing guide.
Of course the scenery was amazing. The travel company (Naturanda) could do much better, however. The tour description said that we would have no more than 30 on our tour. We had 36. Our tour was given in both English and Italian on our bus. We stopped at three different sites: Zahara, Grazalema, and Ronda. Despite it being a 10 hour tour, we were not provided any bottled water on the bus, although it would’ve been an easy gesture on their part. We were instructed to bring our own water. Additionally, our two guides could’ve done a lot better at explaining the bathroom situations at each stop. At our first stop, we were told that they would tell us the location of the bathrooms after we departed the bus and walked several blocks. Well, apparently they forgot because we ended up having to ask them for the location after their spiel on the town. They then waved their hands in a general direction of some cafes and told us we could use the cafe’s. The cafe employees definitely were not happy about a bunch of us using their bathroom and not buying anything. They also lied to us. In Ronda they emphasized to us that our bus would be departing from a different location than where we were dropped off. We departed from the exact same location. I didn’t care, but they made such a big deal about making sure we all understood this situation. On the plus side, we had plenty of time in each town. We had two full hours in Ronda which was enough time to go down two different sets of stairs to get some terrific pictures of the bridge, and still see a little of the main street. Also, the restaurant they recommended in Grazalema was really good with a spectacular view. Additionally, our bus driver did a great job, and seemed to be really safe.
