WARNING- Do No Use! The first and last part of the trip was a total fiasco! We were told to meet at a certain location. We were met by someone who immediately stated she was simply an intern. After her failing to communicate with the organization because she did not speak Spanish, ( In Spain) My wife had to help translate. We then had to walk to another pickup point where we were met by another intern and departed an hour and a half later! During the trip to and from Morroco absolutely No Information was given. The two interns were talking to themselves and taking pics on their cellphones. They did not know what forms were needed to cross into Morroco and told us the paperwork was for our info only! Once in Morroco an Excellent guide gave us a tour through the area. After that the two interns got us back on the bus after trying to figure out how many of us were on the tour. On the way back (two hours late!) we were told they would not drop us off at our pick up spot, but at another location much further away. After some arguing they finally arranged an Uber to take us back to our spot ( two hours late!) Total failure by the company! Totally disorganized!

Both our guide from Seville and Tangier was nice, it was a long day but did not feel rushed. The bus ride was ok however we were not aware we could not eat on the bus ride to Tarifa (about 2 hours) which we brought our breakfast as we left at 7:30. Our guide from Seville explained the journey well and what to expect. Once we arrived in Tarifa to catch the ferry, our guide gathered our tickets and explained passport control requirements. We arrived in Tangier, Morocco and were welcomed by our Tangier guide - he was hilarious and very knowledgeable. We took a tour bus around, rode camels for $2 Euro, walked the streets and enjoyed a Moroccan lunch. Enjoyed about 45 minutes at the end of the guided tour for some free time to explore, shop and eat/drink before departing back to the ferry. We got back to Seville around 11:00 pm.
What a wonderful day! Our Moroccan guide was incredibly friendly and had us all laughing—such a joy! It still feels like a dream to us. While it is indeed a long day, I highly recommend this excursion for an unforgettable experience.
Very well organized and the guide was amazing, fun and speak few languages that’s was awesome - I would do it again
The city of Tangier was breathtaking and met our expectations. The main issue was the trip to and from Seville. Horrible communication! Although we were early at the pick up spot, the shuttle was 15 to 20 minutes late. A rep took us to the shuttle and told us to get aboard. A driver appeared, never introduced himself, gave no instructions as to what to expect during the trip and no bathroom break. We arrive at the port and another man meets us with broken English. He ushers us into the port building gives us documents and tells us to get in line. We all thought he would be our guide. There was no communication that we would meet our guide in Tangier or where to go once we arrived in Tangier. We get on the ferry and again no instructions what to do when we arrive, so we follow the crowd. Once we get to the main floor of the port in Tangier, a man asks if we were with a group and points for us to go outside. Only then do we understand that our group is larger than 8 people when we see other folk with their badge on. We finally meet our guide who was wonderful, energetic spoke at least 4 languages and took us on a fabulous tour of the city. Coming back to Seville our driver only stops and allows a bathroom break because he dropped off two passengers at a hotel. The bus was filled with guests over 65. You must budget time for a bathroom break to and from the port for elderly passengers like myself. I am 69. Thanks. Camille Stearns Miller
We booked a 2 day Seville to Tangiers trip. Naturanda did not tell us that the three of us were the only ones booked for this trip which was supposed to to begin with a tour on the first day and a second day of free to explore on our own. We were put on a bus with a tour to Gibraltar and then told they were dropping us at a gas station where a taxi would take us to the ferry where someone would meet us with our ferry tickets…Sketchy but had no choice at this point. No one met us for 30 minutes and then did with tickets to a ferry leaving in 2 hours. Told to meet a guy with a red fez on the other side. When we finally arrived in Morocco at 4pm (left Seville at 9am) no guy with red fez waiting for us. Just some other person who said they’d call our guide who would pick us up to take us to the airport. He finally came and drove us to an area that we did not anticipate staying at (a cross between Atlantic City and midtown nyc in the 80’s). Guide told us not to wander far and not to take our phones, passport or money if we left the hotel (which btw we entered through a metal detector). Said he’d pick us up at 11am for our tour. Can’t make this up. There was a family from Peru who were there, also going through a similar situation. After a very stressful evening trapped in an almost empty hotel the next day was better. Got the tour we were promised (after we went back to the Ferry to meet the 12 ferry with the group who had signed up for the day tour). We lost a day of our vacation and were put in a very vulnerable situation. I’ve reached out to the company and they have ignored my outreach. I must give thanks to the tour guides Juan and Rashit for trying their best in what was a most unfortunate situation.
I'm glad we did this tour. Really a jammed packed day but worth seeing everything we could in 1 day. Pia the tour guide was fantastic, she s knowledgeable and made sure noone got lost when we were in the market areas. Hercules cave was not the site we were exoecting to see but still a fantastic day.
The guide on the Spain side was great but once we got off the ferry it was cruise line chaos with a new guide on the Moroccan side. I will say he did well with both Spanish and English in one tour. Boarded a bus and brought around the old city.stopping at Hercules Cave (ridiculous tourist trap) no explanation from our Moroccan guide, stopped to see the camels, and then lunch and shopping in the old city. Lunch was family style and the food was not bad but again a pretty manic meal with up charges for anything to drink. Then the guide literally just brought us around to places that were designed to sell us things with little true historical significance. The city itself was crazy with vendors on the streets trying to sell things and at the end on the way back to the bus young children as well selling packages of tissues. I think for the price when you consider paying bus drivers and guides it is not over priced but overall this was a one and done for Tangier. Just too manic a visit for us.
Make sure you take cash. Our guide took us to a bunch of places where we got a sales pitch. The lunch was a let down. Not enough food and they rip you off for average drinks they keep bring to your table.
Great day trip to see Tangier. The guides were great, it is a lot to fit into one day with travel and customs. So be well rested the day before your trip. Special shout out to Pia our travel guide and companion, she made the trip absolutely enjoyable.
What to expect: We always felt safe: Tour guides from Spain Laura & Tangier are w/ you the whole time. Except the 30mins of free time in the market. There will be people approaching you all the time to buy stuff throughout. Always say No 1st & walk away as a bargaining tactic. Euros are accepted. Expect a long day: You might get back to your hotel late based on ferry being late ( they did customs to Tangier on ferry) & or traffic. We arrived back at hotel past midnight. Bring snacks & drinks. There was a charging port on the Mercedes bus to & from Tarifa. Places to see: Some of the stops seemed like tourist traps. However, chalk it up as part of the experience. Camel rides, Hercules cave (Don’t pet the Monkey! I’m still not sure why? he was cute), division of the Atlantic & Mediterranean Sea, a spice & linen merchant. Best part of the trip: The lunch & music was amazing. Food & freshly squeezed fruit juices hit the spot. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to go & feel safe
Our guide Maiden was not a guide at all, more of a babysitter. He sat at the front of the shuttle for the 2+ hours it took to drive to Tarifa saying nothing! The road was so bumpy it registered over 2000 steps on my watch each way! Maiden gave us our tickets and told us to go through security... but no other instructions from that point! Once in Morocco we were joined by a much bigger group. most of them did not speak English despite all of our group booking an English-speaking tour. Rashid was lovely but was clearly getting a cut from all the hawkers who incessantly appeared everywhere we went. The lunch was average and a scam. Food was free, drinks were not. The band asked for money, so too did the waiter, then the photographer who had followed us for the last hour presented photos we had not asked for and wanted money! The textile shop was the most professional visit we had. Camels were a waste of time, just a ride in a circle by the road. The cave too was filled with people trying to get money from you. Overall, not a good experience of Morocco, it just felt fake and like we were seen as open wallets... no real history or culture to be seen here.
The tour, once in Tangier was fine. The roads from Seville were terrible, made me sick. Also we weren’t told where to find our tour guide…just followed the people off the ferry.
We booked this trip directly from one of the offices in Seville. When we booked it, they told us they needed at least four people, and they only had three (including the two of us). We offered to pay for the 4th spot, and they would refund us if others showed up. So the implication was that this was a small group trip. It was not. When we got picked up in the van in Sevilla, there were about seven other people, which was great. Once we got to Tangier, after leaving the ferry, we got on a bus with 50!!! other people. Also, we had to wait nearly an hour on the bus in the parking lot of the ferry, waiting for all 50 people to show up. Now we were late, and we were dashing between the first stops, literally running to get through the cave visit and the parking lot visit with the camels. Sure, you could ride them around the parking lot, but that was about it. Our guide, Rashid, was tragically nearly deaf, so he screamed at us for the entire trip, which was the only way he could talk. We've hired a lot of guides, but he was the worst. The other thing we didn't quite understand was that the trip was not 15 hours long, but it was more like 19 hours long !!! Had we known the length of the trip and the group size, there was no way we would have signed up for this. And to make it worse, we were interested in the Kasbah, but spent less than 5 minutes *near* it. We spent far more time being led into situations where people were trying to sell us garments or perfume than we spent in the Kasbah. Clearly, Rashid was getting a cut of the sales. The upside was that the nine people from Sevile had a nice bonding experience. Finally, we were dropped off at 2:30 am, 1/4 mile from our hotel, in the rain. And to top it off, we still haven't received the refund for the 4th spot. We have tried contacting them, and they took a long time to respond, then finally responded with a terse statement, but nothing else. Stay away.
Terrible experience. Charged for three tickets even though we were only two that travelled. Were promised a refund that we never got. Tons of waiting in lines and on busses. Never told that there would be 50 people on a tour bus in Tangier. Got back to Seville MUCH later than they said. Dropped off by the van in the pouring rain at 2:30am about a half mile from where we were staying. Very poor customer service. Very untrustworthy company.
Rasheed was amazing! This experience blew me away. We had a jam packed day and made it entirely so worth it.
It was a very long trip. It was not as expected as there was an accident on the road so the 6- hour trip was compressed to 2 hours including lunch. The couscous lunch at restaurant was very bad. I would rather to pay my own lunch so that I can have a decent food.
This is an all day excursion. It was worth it. The spanish guide, and the marroccan guide were amazing. Rajid was the name of the guide in Tangier. He was great. I don't remember the Spanish girl. Beautiful trip. The camel part was kind of sad. The camels are in a parking lot and they kind of take you in a loop for 20 seconds. The driver was bad in Spain. I do not recommed sitting on the back of the van or you will jump around a lot, lol. Overall felt safe, cared for, and a nice glimpse of Tangier.
This experience was very stressful, not gonna lie. The ride to Tenerife from Seville is about 2 hrs; our driver didn’t say a word the entire ride, dropped our group at the port, handed us some forms to fill out, pointed to us where we were supposed to go, and left… very confused we started asking, do we need to stamp our passports? Immigration? When does the ferry leave? Surprised it was almost time for the ferry to leave! We had to run to the ferry… once we boarded again no direction! I followed another company's tour guide, and he prompted us (my husband and I) to stamp our passports inside the boat and get a day visa. We told other people from our group because they had no clue. When we landed, again with no clue what we needed to do, we followed the crowd. You don’t meet (Naturanda’s guide) until you cross the port and enter Tangier. (This would be great to know so you don’t panic thinking you have been scammed) since other tour guides and tours met their groups inside the actual ferry! While in Tangier, our guide Rachid was great, but beware of the street vendors and the haggling! It's rough!!!! We did attend two presentations, one for Linnens and another for oils, which I didn’t mind. I was thinking of buying some anyway, but if you aren’t into it, it may bother you!
Beautiful history city!!!! Great views and nice lunch. Best tour guide Rashid in Tangier and Jose Luis from Seville!!!.
The tour guide in Morocco was very good Rachid but the guide to pick us up and the driver are terrible he told us to rest in the van in the morning at 6:30 am but the driver was very rough she drove so fast the the van was very bumpy, further more the guide talk all the way non stop from pick up point to Tarifa, we have no rest at all, will not recommend this tour
We had a fabulous time with our Spain guide Jose Luis who made this trip amazing. He was there from the very start in Spain-Morocco-spain, with a great consideration and constant smile. He watched out for us from the very beginning to end, and gave us a driving tour too. We went one way there and another way back. We had a separate Morocco guide too, who also spoke great English. Would recommend this trip.
We took a day trip to tangier with Jose Luis, and it was the best! We have travelled extensively with private guides mostly, and generally stayed away from group tours. However, Jose Luis made u feel like part of his family. He was punctual and so very considerate. He watched out for us, and was there to guide us from the pick up point in Spain, taking the ferry with us to Morocco for the day, back and then dropping us off. He would always highlight upcoming my things to see on the drive there and back thru Spain. He took us down one way and back up another. He is a wealth of information who reads his room so very well. There was a guide in Morocco too, who knew the place inside out. Many thanks for making Morocco special Jose Luis!!!
Booking was good. The Naturanda staff was very prompt in responding our questions via WhatsApp. Our Spaniard guide Lola was very attentive, nice, helpful and friendly. Day trip to Tangier was a good option to see the highlights of the city. It included the transport to Tarifa and the return ferry tickets to cross the Strait of Gibraltar. Our local Moroccan guide was good in explaining the history of the city. Overall it’s a recommended tour provided by Naturanda.
Juanra is an excellent tour guide. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and willing to help in any way he can. Dr. Juanra is the best guide. A+++
Had a great time today with your guide Juanra Jiménez. Very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended. With request Juanra again for my next tour.
Juanra was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful during our tour. He took extra time to explain information that was not even part of the tour. We recommend him 100%. A++
Excellent excursion! Very well managed and organized, good transparency about booking. The guides Merce and local guide in Tangier- Rachid- were excellent. Both very helpful and knowledgeable, and Rachid carried the tour conversation in English, Spanish, and French seamlessly. For a day trip it was well worth it.
The guide Lola was very professional and kind to us. We were 12 persons from Seville but in Tanger the group was more then 30. Rashid, the local guide was very energetic and it was really funny been around him,😎.
The worst experience we’ve had in our two trips to Europe. After booking a trip to Morocco with these idiots, we showed up at the time and place that they wrote on our receipt (never got an email ticket) we find out that they had moved the trip up an hour earlier and we had missed it. They never notified us either by phone or email. So we walk all the way back to their office only to have the most rude women to deal with. Her attitude started as soon as we entered, not even greeting us, snatching things out of my hand or off of the desk, and then refusing to give me a receipt for the refund of our tickets. We had spent over $650EUR and I wasn’t going to just take her word for it. I will never, ever deal with this place again.
Best especially for group and Solo travelers, you do have a group of about 20 people and 2 operators in Tangier. Rachid is your guide in Tangier, the Spanish operators don’t know about anything you do in Tangier, but don’t worry RACHID (good vibes and speaks like 5 or 6 languages) will greet you outside the port and will know you are waiting. Everyone knows him in Tangier (20+ years as a guide) 1. Wear sneakers, bring Euro for shopping on streets and visa or Mastercard for in store shopping and cafes. 2. C. Rastro location arrive 8:15 or the time they send to you, we arrive in Spain by midnight (Tangier is one hour behind Spain keep in mind) 3. We passed a couple palaces and had lots of opportunities for photos and video content. 4. Went to where the seas meet, went on camel rides( 2 euros) 5. Went to Hercules cave 6. Went for lunch with music and singing (able to order for additional cost other things not included in the tour menu) 7. Went to shop where we got handmade things and also argan oil and other nature store. 8. Stopped by a mosque and Jewish synagogue. 9. Got 45 minutes for ourselves to do what we wanted but he chose a safe area (cafes, dinner or lunch spots, shopping opportunities etc) 10. Got back to the port after passing more scenic areas. The money was well spent because Rachid made sure we were safe, people will try to sell you things to make a living just don’t look at them and you’ll be fine. Rachid speaks French, Arabic, Spanish, MAYBE Portuguese and German
Yalla Yalla! and Yiou yiou yiou!! Resume: Wonderfull day with Hermosa Assia! Laaba fjabah (la vache là-bas!🤣) Thank you Assia! Everything even if it was fast was perfect. Camel tour, food and a energic guide
Our tour was good concerning our guide from Spain had no idea what he was doing and continuously left without people and had poor English which made it challenging. The activities we did through the day were excellent except the caves of Hercules were not authentic and very lame.. not sure why this is even on the itinerary when there so much but beauty to see in Morocco. Thank you RASHID in Morocco that made this tour what it was!
This is a must. 1. You will be picked up in a nice comfy coach but the women who was with the driver was little to no help. We all agreed it must have been her first tour. You’ll get on the ferry and thankfully once in tangier your real tour guide will meet you. 2 Rashid the tour guide was AMAZING. One of the kindest people you’ll meet. Kept us informed on where we were going and what to expect. Knowledgeable about everything we were doing and his lovely country. 3. I was worried about lunch since our teen was joining us but we all enjoyed the food. If you have the pleasure of doing this tour with any luck you’ll get Rashid cause he made this tour the wonder that it was.
Well organized, great guides and drivers. Lunch was only so so, but the musical entertainment was a nice added touch.
Rachid is an excellent tour guide. He is multi-linguistic, very funny and knowledgeable. Camel ride was a lot of fun and the lunch was nice. But, I can do away skipping shopping.
Walking in the Tangier bazaars and having lunch with live local musicians was wonderful. Our Tour guid and Tangier local tour guid were very good and responsible.
Good tour, Rashid was a great guide in Morocco. The ferry experience was a little chaotic.. lined up for 45 min while crossing to have police check passport paper we filled out while standing in line.. more info about the crossing process would be handy.
We had an amazing time in Tangier! Rachid was our guide and he was knowledgeable and funny. We road the camels and had a wonderful lunch. Our guide that got us to Tangier was young and inexperienced so I felt like the group kept us all together more than she did but I’m sure with more experience she will improve.
Enough time to get a taste of Tangiers. Our guide, Rashid was very welcoming and informative. My only reservation was wasting time in a shop the was hawking herbal cosmetics and natural cures, this stop was not for everyone. The camel ride is really only for a photo op. Lunch was delicious.
As a female solo traveler, I was concerned about safety. But Carlos drove our group safely to Tarifa and took the ferry with us to Tangier, where we met our guide, Rashid. There were 11 of us with Rashid in front of us and Carlos in back of us. Absolutely loved the tour! Felt safe. Saw a lot. Carlos and Rashid were both so wonderful. I would tour with them again. Thank you to both of you! 🌷 Kathleen
What an amazing opportunity. We rode the ferry over to Tangiers and met our tour guide Rashid. This was to be an English speaking tour but we had a very nice couple from Spain with us so information was given in both languages. We first took a bus tour of Tangiers with photo ops as with any group tour. One of the ops was with riding camels which we expected and enjoyed. A true Moroccan lunch was included which was delicious. We really did not know what to expect but we enjoyed all of it. Music was played while we ate. We were asked to leave a specific amount tip for the musicians so have some euros. We then were taken to specific shops and were given a talk on their products. The prices were very good and you did not have to buy but these were very nice items to take home. Rashid explained his country and customs very well. We were able to learn about the Muslim religion and its relationship to the government. We ate dates, honey cake and had the full experience. We felt very safe throughout the whole tour although Rashid did warn us that there are “bad” people everywhere. Security is very tight.
I have taken a number of tours, but this so far is the worst. Morocco has so much to offer, but instead you get a VIP tour of slams! Walking down the narrow streets, human excrements in the corners…. Not worth it…. Don’t expect to see clean yellow sand either, camel ride was over brown dirt, you get, half a circle, you get off. Very disappointing day.
The tour was not what i was hoping for. We rushed through a couple photo opportunities and then arrived to Kasbah area for lunch. We spent an hour at the tours restaurant of choice for lunch, then a good half hour at a garment shop that the tour chose and then another 45 minutes at a beauty shop. We had basically a half hour of our own time, which wasn’t enough to go away from the shops and see Tangiers. It was a long day with no real appreciation for Tangiers.
The trip from Seville to Morocco was a very long day, but well worth the extra time. Our driver was on time and an assistant helped with the forms needed for the ferry and customs. Rashid met us at the dock and took great care of us the entire day in Tangier. He has enough experience doing this that he is able to anticipate the group’s needs and questions. He made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire day. We had a great lunch and saw a lot of things in a small amount of time. Other reviewers have griped about the textile and seasonings shops being too much of a sales pressure stop. I think they were interesting and an opportunity we wouldn’t have had time to find on our own. No one made anyone buy anything or gave them a hard time if they didn’t. I had a great experience. Nice tour!
do not take this trip. the bus ride is 2.5 hours each way. all you do is stand in lines from when you arrive at the boat until the end. the boat ride was 1.25 hours - we stood in line ON the boat for 1 hour to get our passport stamped. once in Tangier the wolves are on you. amazing I didn't flatten a couple of the guys trying to sell you crap. they are relentless. it was a totally painful experience. to top it off you get back to Seville to see all the restaurants closed - you haven't eaten supper and you are 15 minutes late to get anything to eat. stay in Seville it's beautiful. this is the 1st review I have ever left.
I had a great trip to Tangier from Seville. Our tour guide met us in Seville and we took the ferry from Tarifa to Tangier where we met our local guide Rashid. He was quite the character, very knowledgeable and kind. We had a full day packed with lunch and activities. I strongly recommend if you’re looking to step foot in a new continent and add a stamp to your passport!
Camel ride was the highlight. Also the ride along the shoreline and cliffs was spectacular. Tangier exotic but too many hawkers of goods with too few buyers in low season detracted from the beautiful cityscape.
This is a very interesting trip. The lunch was very good, but handed out drinks that weren't included with the lunch--this caused confusion. The venders in the markets were very aggressive. Our Guide, Rasheed, was good--although I would have liked to hear more history from the region. It was a fun day, but it seemed like a selling opportunity for the vendors.
Way too many chaotic parts to do this in one day. If this is your only chance to see Morocco then yes, but be prepared for a lot of delays. Getting to the port was flawless. Boarding the Ferry and not being advised to get your stamp on the Ferry right away was a huge disappointment. Waited in line for 40 minutes just to get a stamp to get off the ship. Then endure all the other immigration issues. A16 hour trip meant 3 hours on tour in Morocco that included time for lunch. An experience but be prepared.
