Reviews
A gentle cruise along the river with friendly staff. One free drink and a plate of Iberian ham and Manchega cheese. We would thoroughly recommend this boat cruise. 1.5 hours long, just enough.
If you are doing the ride with young children, be extra careful as the latch at the left front of the boat was left open making it very easy for a child to fall out. I am pretty puzzled as to how that’s even allowed - even if it was closed it’s very easy to open. Other than that the tour is ok, but I’d say make sure to arrive early to get a seat upstairs.
The crew were friendly, polite and helpful. The tapas meat and cheese is pretty basic, but perfectly fine for the price and there's a decent choice of drinks, including a good sangria. However, the guide was prerecorded, so it felt slightly impersonal and not particularly engaging. The additional downloadable guide is helpful. Overall, a bit noisy with the combination of multiple recorded languages and loud music (creating a fun atmosphere, but not really in keeping with a relaxed river cruise), but a pleasant way to spend 90 minutes and a reasonable price.
We had a lovely trip on the Guadalquivir River in Seville. We went on the hours trip with friends. We were provided with lots of information about the various sites and buildings on the trip. Weather was glorious. Would highly recommend.
Very nice people but a lousy river view. Hard to locate where the tour starts. If it weren’t for the small food and drinks, it would be a total bust. Speaking 3-4 languages made any description rushed and hard to understand.
It is a one hour boat ride along the river and a voice-over provides some insights about seville and the sights that you see along the river. There is a bar and you can purchase drinks. It is a slow paced ride, which I personally found to be a little boring. But its a good break from walking 20,000+ steps each day, to just sit on a boat!
Lovely way to spend an evening , lovely sunset . Great way to finish our site seeing day round the sites of Seville
No frills cruise up and down the canal part of the Guadalquivir river; which is actually the original river. Friendly staff, leisurely pace. Nice to see Seville from a riverboat perspective.
Great restful cruise along the river. Loud music though which for me was annoying. Piece of cheese. Couple of strios of ham and packet of crackers not really the tapas we expected. Staff very good.
Good trip well organised and friendly.
The river cruise was very relaxing and gave different perspective of the city - especially with the guide’s commentary.
Very nice experience. Spacious seats and room to move. Clean. Friendly staff. The information about local landmarks was detailed and interesting.
Difficult to find as the directions were unclear. I would have preferred more quiet or had the guide talk about points of interest as opposed to the loud music they played.
Nice very enjoyable boat ride through the river. It was nice to relax and see all of the landmarks along the river
The was too dear, however the guide made up for this, he was friendly & very helpful with recommendations.
This boat cruise was fine for the price…basically just a 1 hour boat ride…not much information was shared…didn’t cover very much area. Best part was when a couple got up and danced towards the end of the trip to some fun Spanish music. It’s possible that one of the longer cruises may have been more involved, so maybe look into those.
We had a beautiful evening outing, and the activity itself was wonderful. However, the experience was quite a bit shorter than expected due to scheduling delays. I hope the company can streamline their boarding process in the future to keep things running on time!
Great trip, not too crowded. Nice tapas snacks and wine. Does what is says on the tin and was a very relaxing journey.
Lovely scenic tour. An hour and a half of good, interesting but not stunning views. Gentle and enjoyable seeing the city and Triana from a different viewpoint. The food and tinto de verano were just enough. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only minor downside was the commentary in English which was almost incomprehensible but that didn't spoil a good experience.
The guide tour voice was a recoding which got mixed up near the end . The free drink was small the tapa was good
Nice cruise..the music on the outward leg was a little too loud for me. The commentary on the return was informative and the tapas and drink lovely
Great experience drink and tapa were perfect for the water. My wife reminded it was well run as the staff consisted mainly of women . The only negative was finding the actual deportation site as it is away from most tour boats at Torre de Oro and I only found it by goggle maps . Once found there was a docking platform but no boat so we had to ask locals if we were in the right spot, which we were thankfully.
Not as expected. Tapas option not offered. Guide only spoke towards end of trip. Bit boring really.
Great tour for the Guadalquivir River with beautiful views, very close to the Plaza de España . I recommend it
Very basic tour. Nice boat and crew
You can see the amazing historical buildings much much better just walking. The river tour was not a good display of the history at all. Yes, a pleasant river ride on a sunny day but nothing notable.
Difficult to understand the commentary which was delivered too quickly and difficult to know exactly what we were meant to be looking at
Beautiful views. Great service. Just as described. Traveling down the river to see wonderful sights of Seville
I have taken many Viator tours and this one was not that good. The tour had no narration in the first hour so we did not know what we were looking at. Then when the narration began, none of the four in our group could understand what was said. I asked for a beer for my one free drink and it was a mini size beer. I went to purchase another beer and the first 3 staff I asked didn’t understand English or didn’t know if additional drinks were available. The food wasn’t very good either. They must of have 50 guest or more on board and there was barely enough room to squeeze into the bench seating. On a very hot evening, sitting shoulder to shoulder was hot and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this tour.
This is for the 1 hour trip. It was a little underwhelming, the river was beautiful however only got 20 minutes of guide information and 20 minutes was spent turning the boat around to park it.
This tour was only very average. English not very good and far too loud to hear clearly. Very small beer and only in bottle.
Terrible, I was not able to find the directions based on the app and nobody replied when I called, nobody was concerned enough to call and see where I was. I’m a veteran user of Viator and this is the first time this has happened, very poorly organized.
Surprisingly not great! Not scenic and really hot. Maybe a night cruise is better? Honestly, it was hot and I just wanted to get off the boat. the best views of Sevilla are not from the river
Nice quiet and mellow cruise. Would recommend
We booked this trip after looking for things to do whilst here in Seville. Staff very friendly and taster menu was lovely. Good value for money only complaint was commentary was not good upstairs on the boat. Needs to be louder and more informative. Really enjoyed our trip and would recommend it.
Definitely not worth the money. First of all, there wasn't much to see. Second the server was also the tour guide and her English was terrible, combined with a bad speaker, none of the English translations could be understood. Finally, their tapas consisted of only a platter of cheese and Ham. All in all, do NOT recommend.
Very limited commentary and difficult to understand. Vegetarian option is just cheese. Nice boat ride but limited information. Didn't learn anything.
We are a family of four adults, we had a wonderful time, highly recomment. The Berrys♥️
All undercover seating, no opportunity to sit in the sun! Only a few seats facing forward, majority sideways so a third of passengers facing in towards the boat.
Beautiful evening watching the sunset in beautiful Sevilla. Boat trip was relaxing and interesting. I recommend
The host (man) was nice, but his wife didn’t allow us to sit together on the boat and she didn’t smile. Also, the food that was served got 7 of my friends sick and having diarrhea after eating their ham and cheese they gave us. It might have been old. Nice scenery otherwise
Lovely jaunt down and back on the river. Drink and a little snack. They tell you a bit of history and sights to see. It was our guides 1st day. She did well.
We should have read the reviews first before we booked. The narrator came on towards the end and the speaker is terrible and it is impossible to understand. Probably better to find another tour company.
Great way to see a different view of the city and some tapas and drinks helped with the experience. Worth the experience and recommend.
An hour sat on a boat going up the river, and only 5-10 minutes from the end was there any information from the tour guide over the tannoy, and unfortunately I couldn’t understand it!
Enjoyed the boat trip. Very nice views. The food and wine was a nice touch. Very hard to hear English speaking guide.
There are better river boat cruises out there, this is not one of them. They do provide a river cruise, a drink and a small tapas plate as advertised, but the entire experience was unpleasant. I was on a 8pm cruise, still too hot to take a cruise in the summer with the evening sun baring down on us. The boat seemed to travel at the same speed as the breeze so you felt no relief and were sweltering. Only in the last half of the cruise did someone come on and try to explain the sites in both English and Spanish, but you could not hear what the person was saying. We passed several boats who's passengers seemed to be having a better time than us. This was a disappointment.
I really enjoyed the boat ride. I booked the 1.5hr ride with snacks. I saw some reviews saying the boat ride was mainly through industrial area. There were some places that were industrial, but I felt the majority of the ride was really pretty and almost the entire river is lined with greenery. The ride was approximately 1.5hr. The tour came with a plate of ham (I think) and cheese to split with one other person and one drink. My My biggest complaint is that I could not understand the audio at all when the guide was explaining what we were passing, but I did enjoy just taking in the scenery.
We had an absolutely fantastic boat trip in Seville! Antonio, our captain, and Nanna were both amazing from start to finish. They were so welcoming, looked after us brilliantly, and really made us feel special throughout the experience. The food was fantastic, the relaxing music created the perfect atmosphere, and we loved the mix of sightseeing with just the right amount of local history—it was informative without ever feeling like a lecture. It struck the perfect balance between being peaceful, fun, and interesting. A huge thank you to the crew for making the trip so memorable. If you’re looking for a relaxing and unforgettable way to experience Seville, this is it. Highly recommended!
