Seville: Guadalquivir River Cruise With Lunch Or Dinner

Very relaxed, informative and good value for money overall. The food was excellent and drinks were included, up until the dessert was served.

The setting was lovely. The food was great. The service was friendly and helpful. Great to do in the evening.

The best thing about this experience was the chance to spend a warm night on the water. Unfortunately, the food was average at best and a number of people left some of the dishes unfinished. People in our group ordered white wine and after the first glass were told it had run out and they could either have a sparkling wine (which was too sweet) or switch to red wine. We also found they were slow to serve extra rounds of drinks. Considering this cost $USD 80, it was not good value for money.

The dinner cruise was very nice, the staff extremely efficient, friendly and the boat was clean. The food was very good, 3 cold dishes and 2 hot plus a dessert. All timing was well done. I’m not giving it full stars for a couple reasons. While the dinner cruise was great because we weren’t baking in the sun, it also meant we really didn’t get to see the landmarks we were cruising by. Additionally it would have been nice to have some guidance of what we were seeing and/or history. I also think that this might be better suited for groups. There were just a few other couples besides us otherwise there were two large parties on the boat that were having a great time.

Food not great. No commentary of what you were seeing. Staff worked hard keeping u supplied with drinks. Dont feel it was value for money at all.

Amazed to read that this excursion averages 4.7 - maybe the chef was a backup but that doesn’t excuse the wine…. After 10 days of great experiences around Spain, this was a big disappointment. We went on the 2.5 hour evening cruise. It was hard to find the pickup mooring point and there was NO guide information during the cruise. The waitresses did their best but the meal experience was dire. The wine was the cheapest rubbish available ( we had been quite happy drinking house wines by the glass everywhere but this was truly horrible.) . The ham and cheese starter was ok but all the other food was practically inedible. Eg. ‘Paella’ - a dish of rice with 2 fragments of chicken hidden in it. Do yourself a favour and keep away.

Wonderful cruise food was so tasty staff were all brilliant. We were shocked how few passengers left a well deserved tip.

Everything was great, the chef very nice and the food was delicious and of good quality and the waitresses very attentive.

The cruise was exactly as described. The food and drinks were delicious and the river was very scenic. Well worth the money!

We had an amazing boat trip down the river. The scenery was stunning and there were plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional—we tried dishes we never would have thought to order, and every single one was delicious. Compliments to the chef! The peaceful, laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect way to relax. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable day out.

A lovely evening in Seville! The food met expectations (though we were too full to enjoy our dessert properly). We had regular opportunities to order wine, beer and soft drinks and enjoy the views. There is nothing to point out the various landmarks we passed. There is Spanish music onboard. The chef and serving staff were so friendly! We enjoyed this.

Perfect way to spend an evening on the river with an excellent range of beautifully prepared tapas.This is a family business with great staff who went out of their way to ensure a relaxing experience. Super views along the river.Nice cool breeze.My only criticism is that the meeting point is not easy find and some signage at the boarding gate would be useful.Higghly recommended trip.

We really enjoyed this cruise along the river. The food was excellent, better than expected. We tried dishes we’d never had before and enjoyed them all. Staff all very friendly. The drinks were flowing and there was a good selection. Our only criticism is that the trip could have been a little shorter. We were going backwards and forwards to waste the time till we docked. Dispute this I would not hesitate to recommend this trip.

This is a perfectly relaxing way to spend a few hours. Food was pleasant. Drinks were plentiful and varied weight. Staff and boat operator were very friendly. Shout out to CC who was very welcoming and amiable. 2.5 hours went by quickly. Would definitely do this again. Consider having some soothing Spanish guitar music at sunset instead of pop. Overall, a very lovely experience.

We did the 2.5 hour cruise at sunset and it was totally worth the price! While we mostly chose this option for the sunset, the food exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate our friend who is gluten free during all of the courses! Would highly recommend!

A lovely evening spent on the river. The food was delicious (we are vegetarian and they created a separate menu for us) and there was a lot of it! The staff were brilliant at keeping the drinks topped up. A great atmosphere and good value for money!

Beautiful, slow trip on the river. The food, was just amazing,, the drinks were flowing and the hosts were so much fun.

Perfect ending for our visit to Seville .. 5 course lunch was in the Style of tapas. The endless refill of wine went down a treat. It would have been nice to have a guide talking about sites of Seville while sail down the river. But it was nice to chat to the other people on the boat and sit back and relax.

Lovely relaxing trip with great food and drink and lots of it. It didn’t come with a narrator to tell you what you were passing, but staff were happy to tell you if you asked.

My mom and I booked the day before with an allergy and they were absolutely wonderful. I have celiac (gluten free) and was able to eat almost everything, and they provided alternatives for the things I couldn’t eat that were delicious. If you are looking for a long lunch tour this is the one.

Generally this was disappointing. A 2 1/2 hour cruise on the river without any commentary, with plenty to see but no explanations. The food was pretty much as described, but service was a bit sporadic. Compared to an evening meal trip which we had previously in Amsterdam it was slightly less expensive but way less satisfying.

The staff, food, plentiful drink was excellent, Only one feed back would be to have some kind of audio so you know the landmarks passing Also a sign at the river side would be so helpfu as everyone was wondering if they were at the right place, otherwise highly recommended

Food and music good. Lacked ambience though. Serviettes were like baby tissues and needed replacing with every course. Certainly didn’t match what we were expecting

I took the dinner cruise. A nice chilled way to end the day. Staff provided great customer service. The pate served was good.

I highly recommend this especially for couples or adult groups. I went with my 16 year old daughter and she loved it. We got great views of Seville landmarks from the river first during sunset and then at nighttime on the way back to the pier. The small crew were lovely, and the food was simple but very good, home cooked by a single chef down in the galley. Unlimited wine/beer during the cruise. A great experience and good value for money.

We chose the dinner cruise, and I'm glad we did. Watching the sunset on the Guadalquivir was a treat. The boat ride was lovely, and the 5-course dinner was great. Fun for everyone in our group (grandparents, parents and kids)! The crew were so friendly, also, and made sure we had a great time. Thanks for everything, Juani and team!

Lovely boat trip and great people. Tbh the food wasn’t for me but my hubby loved it. Lots of alcohol which was great. Would’ve loved a commentary of the things we were seeing. Good fun and worth doing.

Trip was excellent. Great service with plenty of food and drink. Hostess on board very knowledgeable and friendly Instructions for Getting to the meeting point were not very clear. A large sign or flag could be used as an indication

The experience was great the views were outstanding and the boat ride was amazing. The crew were great.

The staff on the boat were welcoming and friendly. They showed consideration for all guests, including ensuring that young pre-wedding party were able to have their music played, but at a volume that was convenient for other passengers. Staff spoke good English and we also heard them speak French. The meal was high quality and each course was a typical Andalusian dish. We regularly enjoy eating Spanish bellota jamón and so appreciated the quality of the jamón served. The trip lasted two and a half hours and so each course of dinner was unhurried. Both non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks were served and glasses were refilled as often as we wished. I would highly recommend this trip.

What a wonderful time! My wife and I booked the dinner option and had 5 dishes and dessert, as well as unlimited wine and a great view from the river. I don't know how you beat this for the price. My only recommendation is they should charge more! Lastly, I am vegetarian and they were more than accommodating. Perfect for couples.

We received a warm welcome from friendly staff. Unfortunately it was a cold damp evening so the deck was covered by a tarpaulin which obscured the views and it was a bit chilly. This could not be helped. The food was average in our opinion, started well with cheese and Iberian ham, the cold soup was not to my liking but that was personal preference. We then received a crayfish and octopus dish which was ok, it was balls of wet mayonnaise type sauce with small bits of the prawn or octopus it needed either salad or bread to go with it, the rice with ham and mushrooms was nice but the chicken cannoli was barely warm, the pasta undercooked and the purée chicken filling was not nice in my opinion. We were looking forward to dessert as we had experienced some delicious ones over our stay but it was fried milk and custard which was again lukewarm so dissapointing. The drinks were plentiful and the young lady serving was very sweet but in our opinion the food was very average. There was no commentary about the sights but we did get some great photos of the bridges lit up at night.
