By far one of the best tours ever. Very knowledgeable and extremely charismatic. Would completely recommend this tour to anyone.

Raul was a fabulous guide. He shared his knowledge and the history of Sevilla with exuberance, love and humor. We highly recommend a tour with him.
We didn't go with any tours but literally walked the old city especially around the Jewish Quarter finding amazing Tapas and Wines. Pre the visit we did our usual research on which restaurants to go to. When we arrived you can find so many great Tapas bars all selling lovely red Tempranillo wines or authentic Sevilla Orange wine we just stopped and ate at the ones that had the best buzz and vibes. I couldn't tell you the names late evening is the best for the area to come alive. Such a friendly city with amazing value for money meals. For two of us with a bottle of red and maybe sharing 8 tapas dishes was about 50 euros. Some of the best dishes used local oranges as a marmalade almost with pork or cured meats, lovely baby octopus, shrimp or crab croquettes. Very few dishes just added something on top of a piece of bread which was refreshing to see. They have one or two amazing bread with fresh tomatoes on however, quite often eaten at breakfast, so tssty
I booked this for a group of 8 friends and was very disappointed, especially when comparing with a similar, but fantastic, tour we did in Madrid. Why? - Very Expensive (almost €100 each) - Went to just 4 touristy bars, all very close together and very much 'on' the beaten track - Food was poor to average - Wine was very limited and awful - Guides English was poor Once the tour was over, 2 of us went to another 'local' tapas bar where we had much better food and wine for next to nothing in cost. POOR SHOW VIATOR!!!!!
The tapas tour with our guide Maria was really fun. We learned about the food and wine typical to the region. Maria was full of information and you could tell was well know and liked in our area by the restaurant owners. We had four stops and the last stop was for a fantastic glass of sparkling rose and dessert at a rooftop bar. A fun evening in Seville for sure.
The tour was not bad really. But it was way overpriced. Our guides were very good and nice and the food was good. Although the best place was the first and simplest bar. The fancier ones were not worth it.
Maria was a fantastic guide. A lot of great information about the Jewish Quarter and the tapa stops were outstanding. Maria was personable and very friendly.
A tapas tour is only as good as the host and Raoul was superb. He managed to negotiate his way past/through a number of processions to guide us to fantastic food with charm and patience. Very knowledgeable about Sevilla and a genuine pleasure to enjoy the evening with…
I lucked out as I was supposed to be part of a group tour but amazingly, nobody else had booked! Private tour, wow! The guide was personable, professional and refresghingly honest. She was knowledgable about the areas and tapas places that we went to together. My only negative is conparing it to a similar tour that I did in Granada, the quality of the food in the first and second locations was below what I expected for the tour price. However the 3rd and 4th locations were much much better. To improve the value for money the 1st and 2nd locations need to be changed for historic locations that also have amazing food. Overall, I would reccommend the guide, she was great. However take jnto consideration the points that I have made above.
Where to start with this? The Seville food tour however, was a disaster. I have been on at least 20 food tours (it’s one of the first things I do in most countries, and I usually travel overseas 2-3x a year when not in a pandemic) and know what they entail. The guide will give you information about the city/country you’re in, and of course describe and gush of the food. They will tell you where the wine is from, what is in the food, what it’s called, and are engaging and talk to you throughout the evening. Most food tours I have been on were led by people that could talk easily for hours, are entertaining, informative, and engaged with the group. The food has always been outstanding and a great introduction to the country/city. Every one I have been on has contacted the restaurants ahead of time, and they know we are coming. Their English is usually superb, and we are not trying to figure out what names for the food are on the tour. The Seville food tour, however, did none of those things. The restaurants had no idea we would be there that evening. The guide was often on her phone on WhatsApp or other social media. Normally I would expect a guide to be on a WhatsApp chat with the restaurant. This was obviously not the case, since at the very first stop, we had to wait for them to even find a table for us. We were then uncomfortably crammed into a corner. The guide disappeared twice at the first restaurant. The bar staff beside our table took the orders, so she couldn’t have been talking to them somewhere else. We saw her talk to them about the order. We sat alone at the table at first, and then she came back to get an order. She told us briefly about the food (not in detail, we weren’t sure what was in the sandwich like thing we were eating except that it was probably meat?). After that, she disappeared again and we ate and drank without her until we were almost done. Again, when she was at the table she was on WhatsApp and other social media about half the time. We then walked to the second place, with little information or engagement from her. At the second stop, we had some food that was awful. We ate most of it to be polite, but we have been joking about how terrible it was ever since. When we received the food, the guide said one item had hm and one had cheese, and we should guess which was which. Neither item tasted of ham or cheese. They didn’t taste like anything except a lump of sawdust. The wine that came with the meal was described only as “white”. Were the grapes for the wine local? Spanish? From Mars? We have no idea, and I am not sure the guide did either. I’ve done many food and wine tours, and not once has the guide not had any idea what we were drinking. It was so odd. During the first two stops we were also realizing that her English was not that great. She could not even talk about something things for the food and what we were doing very well. We paid a lot of money for an English guide, but she herself said her English was not that great and it is unfortunately true. My mother, who speaks some Spanish, was thankfully able to talk some with her or else we would have been even more in the dark. If no one in the group had had that ability, the tour would have been even more of a disaster. During the second stop, she was also on her phone on social media. During the walk to the third stop, she again was not very engaged and we either talked amongst ourselves or walked in silence. So atypical for a food “tour”. At the third restaurant, when we arrive she said she wanted to order some things she liked. This was another bizarre detail to me. I have only been on food tours where the food and wine were picked out ahead of time with care. From what the guide said, she was just ordering things she liked without having planned anything ahead of time. The wine at the this establishment was described as “red”. No idea where it was from, what the grapes were, or even what the wine was called. The two main dishes were described as one having salmon and avocado, and one having ox tail. The ox tail dish was on some kind of bread, with sauce, but we had no idea what was in the sauce, how the ox tail was cooked, or anything else about it. The salmon dish was on some hard bread, but again we could only guess what that was. For dessert we were told we would be having champagne. What we had was definitely not champagne. It might have been a prosecco with very little fizz, but it was dry and not sweet. There was some type of cake item for dessert that the guide never mentioned. We do not know what it was called or what was in it. Was it a typical Spanish or Seville dessert? Who knows! At this point, we were pretty convinced that she was not sure what the wines or food were, either. As it appeared she made no effort ahead of time to prepare the menu, I guess she felt that it was not important to let us know what exactly we were eating and drinking. There was zero pride in her city or her country. The guide then left when we were less than halfway through dessert. She had not said anything after mentioning the non-existent champagne, and then abruptly got up and said she was leaving. She took no more questions, had not more insights, and we sat there talking about how awful that had been. During the tour she had mentioned some things about Spanish cities that I knew were not true simply by having read a Wikipedia article about Seville and Andalucía. I could have learned more watching a 5 minute YouTube video for free about food in Seville and its history and not paid so much money.
Maria was an incredible guide. She took us to off the beaten path places, ordered us delicious food and wine and taught us a great deal about the city. She was friendly, fun and accommodating.
Maria is such a lovely person, and the tour overall and places we visited were quite interesting, trying the local cuisine. I was the solo traveler of the group, nonetheless, met and shared a great time with the group on it too.
The starting time of the tour (19:00) isn’t correct. In fact, we got a call at 1730 that the tour was starting. We skipped the tour part and went for the tapas and wine tour. Our guide brought us to 3 bars. The first we left suddenly after a 2 tapas. At the third our guide left us as soon as we arrived. She didn’t tell us anything about the tapas or wine. In total we got 5 tapas per person and 3 glasses of wine. Not worth the price.
Nice walk in Sevilla; small unknown streets; interesting information; nice food and drink; friendly and adequate guides
This Company advertised a gourmet wine and tapas tour at 1330. I booked it for 24/09 and got confirmation (and reminders). At the appointed time, no guide turned up. I contacted them - they said it was a mistake - they didn't do a 1330tour. A wasted afternoon - very disappointed. Avoid them!
Excellent guide. Punctual and organized. Wonderful food and wine. Overall, a pleasant experience. Well worth the price.
We had a fantastic time! Rafa was an excellent guide, making our experience (Jewish quarter tour followed by tapas and wine tour) both fun and educational. He went above and beyond, even coming up with more activities when one of the tapas bars wasn’t open for a few minutes. The tour included a very, very generous amount of wine and three tapas each - definitely recommend coming hungry and thirsty! We went to five total places and had wine at each of them, tapas at three of them, and dessert at one.
Guide was not knowledgeable about food or wine. Very disappointing. Would not recommend at all. Try different company.
The evening was totally friendly and interesting. I visited four different tapas bars all unique and offering a variety of styles. The hotel rooftop bar for cava and cake was the perfect ending to a fun evening. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
Jordan our tour guide was very friendly and interactive. His knowledge of the area was not what we expected.
It was just the two of us with Pablo and a colleague in training (sorry, can't remember his name). The first tapas bar we went to wasn't open when we arrived but Pablo quickly changed the order of the itinerary so it was no problem. We visited three different styles of tapas bar and tasted some excellent food and wine. We also visited a wine bar to taste some sherry etc and ended at a hotel rooftop bar for Cava and cake. Our guides were great company and very informative. We even visited another tapas restaurant recommended by Pablo and were not disappointed. This was a really enjoyable tour and so relaxed and flexible. Definitely recommend.
I enjoyed the food, drinks and the neighborhood we were in. I did this tour on my first day, and it definitely set a great tone for the rest of my stay in Seville. Jordan was an enthusiastic and a friendly tour guide!
My granddaughter and I took many tours in Spain in August.. Full day, half-day, flamenco and tapas. This was the best by far. It was glorious. Juan was a terrific guide, shared his favorite spots. We ate all kinds of taps, drank wine and the best sangria I've ever had. We finished with dessert tapas and cava on the rooftop of a hotel overlooking the Cathedral at night. It was absolutely spectacular. Just amazing. We had a smalll group of four and it felt so personal. Don't miss this one. Whatever you do, just don't miss it.
Our tour guide Andrea was lovely, great company and we had a fab time! 3 restaurants and a nice surprise to end the evening.
I will begin by taking the time to thank our amazing guide who’s name has totally escaped me... to give him proper kudos, I will say that his mom teaches English and therefor his knowledge of the language was amazing (your bosses must know who you are now! ;) The tour took us to some very authentic places to sample local dishes and wine and I have to say, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. We were supposed to have had a group tour but ended up alone (a potentially awkward situation) but once again, our guide was amazing and the chatting never paused. He even took us to a couple of hidden places in town where I was able to take some very cool pictures and learn a bit more of the town’s history along the way. I have nothing but great things to say all around... highly recommend this tour!
Had an excellent tour with a great guide! Ate fabulous tapas and even hunted down one place the next day to enjoy more of their selection! If you are considering doing this tapas tour I would definitely recommend it!
Our guide was SO EXCELLENT. We went to multiple tapas bars - out of the way with great tastes and ambiance. We felt like locals in Seville. He was also well versed in history and open to discussion. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.
Maria was wonderful taking us to various places around Seville for delicious tapas and wine. She indulged is by giving us some of the history of the city and the areas we visited. Thank you for taking care of us.
we went on this tour may 22 it was great . there was plenty to eat. the tour guide, which i am ashamed to say have forgotten his name. he done more then his job for us. so friendly informative,he even got us a flamenco show which was aslo great. every place we went to was lovely. it is a must. the tour guide really made the tour. we saw him on severally occassions around seville he made a point of stopping and saying hello. nice guy.
The tour time slot was cancelled due to Semana Santa which should have been anticipated before taking our booking and our money, as we were not in Sevilla to take up the only rescheduled time offered. We advised them as soon as we were emailed and requested either a new time slot or a refund but have had no response to our request after 8 days. I had hoped for a better experience from both the tour group and TripAdvisor
We enjoyed our evening with Alvaro, who guided us to four different venues and made the evening very enjoyable and relaxing. We started in a tapas bar where we stood outside whilst starting with 5/6 different dishes (the dogfish was my favourite). We then moved onto a couple of other restaurants to sit down, and both were different to the first (one modern, one very eclectic). We finished on a rooftop bar with a great view of the Giralda, for a sweet dessert and a class of cava. The tour lasted about 2 hours 40 minutes, and we got 4 drinks each with about 4 tapas dishes per person and also a dessert as well. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to try lots of different places and to be guided by a local. Alvaro made everything easy and was also a great companion during our meals as well.
Our guide Lara was amazing. She took us to some amazing spots that we likely wouldn't have discovered on our own. This tour was a highlight of our trip. I definitely recommend it for anyone who loves tapas and wine!
What could have been a very awkward experience was not. Great tour guide who was comfortable giving me a private tapas tour!
Good and varied food, excellent wine, interesting venues, a very friendly and informative guide and lovely company.
We had a lovely time on this tour! We were two people and were joined by a family of five. We stopped at four tapas bars and had a delicious assortment of tapas at each one. There was always enough for everyone to indulge. We also had a drink at each stop. Our guide was fantastic at choosing dishes and drinks that reflected Sevilla. We experienced foods and visited places we would never have known to try found on our own. The cherry on top was the final stop being a rooftop bar. We enjoyed cava and dessert with an incredible view of the Cathedral.
We booked a tapas tour with Pancho Tours; our guide was Alvaro and we were the only people so we had him all to ourselves. We visited four bars/restaurants, three of which we'd never have found by ourselves. We shared tapas and had wine or beer each time. Alvaro was absolutely brilliant; he spoke excellent English and was full of knowledge and a really great guy. The evening flew past, the conversation was interesting, the food and drink good (Al pays each bar as you go, so you don't need to anything but enjoy the evening), and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Totally recommend this experience.
Good initiation in tapas culture with a talented young guide.A pleasant afternoon adventure in busy Seville touristic center .
Laura was a great guide. She had lots of energy, was very knowledgeable, and was generally very fun.
Adel,Adel,Adel, This is the person who should do your tour of the tapas bars. She picked three very diverse bars which was really great. We went from an old bar to a more modern one. Then to a whacky but beautiful bar. Finally to a rooftop bat to end the evening. Adel was bubbly, informative, knowledgeable on the tapas and their history. Enjoy

Adele is an amazing guide. The tour with Adele was a WOw!!

Not worth the $$. Our guide didn’t reserve a table for our first restaurant stop so we ended up eating our tapa off of a plate, which he was holding, in the middle of the street outside of the restaurant. He also left us to fend for ourselves at the 3rd stop because he had somewhere else to be.

Was an enjoyable tour. Adele, our tour guide, did a great job. Had delicious tapas at some great restaurants. Learned a lot about what to order re tapas. Wish we had taken the tour our first day there rather then last as we had some not so good tapas when not knowing what to order. My only negative comment would be the price of the tour. Was more then the advertised rate and I think was s little overpriced.

Was a great tour with wonderful food, but the guide did not originally turn up and we had to phone the supplier to find out what had happened. However once he finally arrived, the tour was good value with different types of tapas bars in the old city, and yummy things to eat plus educational.

Afternoon tour with guide - Rosa. Lots of tapas and drinks ending with a cava. We were the only 2 on this tour but this made it much more personal for us. Thank you Rosa for a lovely afternoon!!

We had good company. The tour guide was a college student and not well versed in the wine. But, he was a very nice guy and the couples we were with delightful.

Ok food tour. The restaurants we stopped by were frequented by locals, always a good sign, but the quality of the foods was so so. My guide wasn’t the most interesting either, but I did learn a couple tid bits that helped me seek out foods on my own afterwards. I wouldn’t recommend this tour only because I imagine there would be better food tours than this. Given that food tours I generally go on in different cities are way better, I imagine there would be other food tours in Seville that would be similar. I booked this tour over others because of all the great reviews here on TripAdvisor, but I feel the community missed the mark on this one.

Sadly this tour was not as good as many of the food tours we have been on elsewhere. We were the only guests and the host took us initially to a bar where we sampled the orange wine with a small piece of cheese and pork skin. We then walked to a restaurant where we had around 5 tapas between 4 of us, washed down with a small glass of sherry. Finally we went to a rooftop bar where we were left by the guide after he ordered us a glass of cava and a slice of cake. We left feeling hungry and underwhelmed for the price we paid.

One of best food/wine tours we've done, of dozens in many countries. 1- Spain perfected tapas and has great wine 2- Seville a perfect cities for this type 3- Guide had a GREAT personality, lined up great places and worked hard to explain city, culture and role food. A must do

A well balanced evening that proved to be a great intro to local tapas bars, to some typical and very good local speciailities and to a variety of bars

Great way to check out some local food and restaurants right around the Cathedral and Barrio Santa Cruz area. Wonderful guide Chel with great stories and able to pick out food best for our interests and tastes. Loved the orange wine and finishing with a rooftop champagne toast.
