Flamenco is one of the most characteristic elements of Spanish culture, especially throughout the southern region of Andalusia. Flamenco was born for many in Triana, across the river from Seville, mainly in the mines and in the countryside where gypsies lived since the 15th century, sent there by the Holy Inquisition.
Flamenco dance, as one third of the quintessential Spanish phenomenon of flamenco, has an extensive historical background that parallels the cultural development of Spain itself. The guide will talk about this and much more, before taking you to the show.
Flamenco is a particularly Andalusian art form, which has crossed borders and has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Flamenco dancers very talented, however night was ruined as tour guide with South African accent consistently made racist comments and micro aggressions towards me and a fellow colleague, and we are both people of colour. Disappointed as an honourable establishment such as this should not stoop to a bar so low, especially in 2026. Unfortunately I will not remember the passion that the dancers displayed, but the racism exhibited from the South African sounding tour guide. Management, will you please look into this?

Superb dancers and singers who worked extremely hard. Included one drink and one plate of tapas per person. (The cheese was stale). Did what it said but with hindsight would head for somewhere with a more authentic atmosphere

Apr 21, 2023, 12:35:41 PM I was booked in for the show only so no tour: just turned up at the appointed time. The room was a small hall of sorts with chairs all laid out below the stage for the small audience of about 30 people. The show was fairly basic: just a guitarist, a singer and a male & and older female dancer. I enjoyed it: very intense dancing, stomping and clapping. I felt it was quite genuine and traditional, not a showy performance. Lasted for 1 hour.
There was no "tour", there was no master class, there was much more expensive than on the spot, no beautiful dresses like on the fliers, no male dancers at all. I saw in the street better performances.

This was a really interesting and informative evening especially coming from Australia. Maria was entertaining in her explanation of the history of flamenco and the history of the area. The small venue Made the tour even more special with only 18 people in the audience. Definitely recommend this tour.

En este viaje que hicimos por Europa mi marido y yo contratamos seis tours para dos personas, ya que el año pasado tuvimos buenas experiencias con los tours contratados en Viator. Sin embargo este año de los 6 contratados solo 4 fueron buenos, uno nunca se dio el servicio y el tour de flamenco fue fatal, a tal grado que varias de las personas que estaban en el tour con nosotros se quejaron acaloradamente reclamando el fraude y el show con el que terminaba el tour se retraso por causa de estos reclamos. Uno de los artistas del show se disculpo aclarando que no era responsabilidad de ellos pero que aun así estaban muy apenado por lo sucedido. La guía que nos llevaba en el tour, no tenia la mas mínima idea de lo que era el flamenco y durante el recorrido solo nos expuso sus ideas políticas y sociales pese a que constantemente le pedíamos que se avocara al tema del tour, hasta que finalmente nos dijo que el flamenco no era un tema que ella dominara. Todo esto lo pueden constatar tanto con el personal donde se llevo a cabo el show así como con los guías de la misma agencia que llevaban otros grupos
