Seville Private City Kickstart Tour

Our tour guide Johnny was fantastic! He was very informative and passionate about all the details of the city. We learned so much and he also gave us guidance on the best place in Seville to visit.

Mela was very knowledgable and gave us a great overview of the city. It was a nice chance to get some more information on great places, history & events in Seville beyond the palace and cathedral.

If this is your first time to Sevilla, this is a great orientation to the city and its history. The guide was very open to questions and customizing the trip to meet our needs. Along the way, pointed out things to do and restaurants to try. Great tour for first timers.

We had a fantastic tour with Laura, she was so knowledgeable about her home city, we saw parts of the city, including hidden gems that we otherwise would not have seen. Laura had a lovely personality and she had a wide vocabulary of the English language, definitely recommended

Clara was always happy to answer our questions and made us feel like we were old friends. Her warmth and humor created a memorable experience. We can't recommend Clara enough for anyone visiting Seville.

Laura was an excellent tour guide who spoke great English. She was excited and very knowledgeable about the history and the monuments in Seville. We would absolutely use her again. On a Kickstart tour, I would like to see the guide first take the time to give a map of the area and point out where you should absolutely visit and not miss when you're in the city. It would also be helpful if they would mark great places to eat where the locals eat.

Fabulous tour with Clara who was very informative and we loved every moment - despite the unusual rain in Seville. The Highlights tour covered a lot of places we may not have found and afterwards had the opportunity to explore further. Walking with Locals is a great way to familiarise yourself with a city to know where to return to spend more time.

We were lucky to have our tour with Alba on our first day in Seville. She was a fantastic guide. We learned so much about Seville and she gave us a great insight into its history and culture, bringing us to many hidden gems we would otherwise miss. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 15yo, 15yo, 10yo) took an intro to Seville tour with Laura this weekend. Laura is friendly, engaging, and super knowledgeable… from architecture to history… we learned so much. We toured a second day with Laura to see the Alcazar and Cathedral. My husband and I toured these places on our own many years back and we had no idea what we had missed without Laura. She kept the kids engaged the whole time, with trivia, role play and little-known-facts/history. Her love for this city is clear. And we enjoyed our time with her so much!

Our tour with Clara was exceptional! She was warm, funny, entertaining, and a great listener. We loved her personal and historical approach to sharing her love of her hometown. Her love of Sevilla's stories and traditions runs deep. We especially loved learning about the elaborate preparations for Semana Santa. Sevilla is lucky to have Clara as a cultural ambassador!

I'd already seen a little of Seville by the time I took this tour with Laura so we were able to bypass some of the usual sights and do some really random things like helping me get a bus card, checking out some subjects she was studying as part of her thesis, and finding the best ways to find my way out of the old city if I got lost. All of that set me up brilliantly for my next 10 days in Seville. I feel like I know the city much better because of this tour with Laura.

Our guide Mila was wonderful, meeting us on time with confirmed meeting spot. She had an itinerary prepared that she thought we would enjoy, but we changed our minds and asked about a different tour that would focused more on private art galleries. She was quite accommodating, and we enjoyed our time with her immensely. I would recommend booking this tour.

We had a great time with Cecilia yesterday. She was born and raised in Triana, so it was fun getting her local knowledge combined with the history of the area. We have two kids - 8 and 10 - and she kept them engaged and involved. She would often say, “let’s play!” And then she would assign us roles to play to learn the history she was teaching. 😊 She had great recommendations for places to visit and eat after the tour was over, as well; and she was spot on with all of them. She also sent us links to more helpful information to have later. I realized after our time together that I hadn’t taken one photo - I was so engaged, it didn’t even cross my mind. It was kind of nice just living in the moment and experiencing life like a local. All in all, we couldn’t recommend her enough.

Alba is a fantastic guide. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and articulate. Her English is impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, especially all the hidden gems that Alba uncovered for us. The history of the Jewish quarter was a highlight. We booked a 90 minute overview and it was a perfect start for our trip to Seville. Alba also provide some local recommendations for food and these were excellent. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the best walking tours I've done. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, and made the extra effort to expand on topics of our interest. Specially recommended for preteens or teens. The guide made it fun for my 12 year old daughter, intertwining funny facts into the stories.

Booking online is often something of a lucky dip despite all of the reviews. We arrived in Seville a few hours before our meeting with Jose and quickly realised that it was a very compact city after a short morning walk. We needn’t have worried. he was in mine of brilliant information and tips, whether that be about restaurants, bars or churches! We never once went over the same ground and discovered parts of Sevilla that we would never have found on our own. The time disappeared so quickly with Jose’s easy to listen to commentary. We hope to return and will book Jose in again as we only scratched the surface of this wonderful city.

We had a great morning walking the streets of the Old Town with Jose. He told us loads about the city, its traditions and culture and gave us some great tips on where to eat (and where not to!) It felt like a friend taking us around is home town, very relaxed and made for the perfect introduction to Seville. Would highly recommend Jose

After trying common tours, Withlocals are the best option, our host was Mila in Sevilla, Plaza de España is a really nice walkable place and with her guide you discover and enjoy the most of the place.

Mila was great! She was very friendly, fun and patient - I booked the tour for my family which included our mothers and we were a lot slower to move around - Mila didn't mind at all and was accommodating to our speed and even spent extra time with us which was very kind of her :) Our tour was a lot of fun and informative. Mila gave us the right amount of information to guide us through the highlights of Sevilla. She had a fun energy and it was a very special part of our visit to Sevilla! Mabel was a wonderful local guide who gave us a great history of her city. We were able to see the highlights and have a better appreciation for Sevilla.

Natalia was the perfect person to show us some more of her city. We had told her we had already seen several of the well known buildings so she was able to help us explore the places many people do not have the time to see. We had the best time walking round Seville, seeing and hearing more about its history and culture.

Alba was our guide. She did an excellent job of explaining to us the history of Seville and showing us the beautiful and important historic buildings in Seville. She was also very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. We didn’t know much at all about Seville before the tour and afterward I feel we had a good base of knowledge and also had a better idea of what we wanted to do during our stay here.

We booked the tour to understand the basics of Seville on our first day. With Jose we got that and more. Terrific walking tour where he pointed out the basic landmarks plus gave us so many good tips on the restaurants we passed that we'd need to stay a month to take advantage of them. Great tour guide.

Alba was prompt to respond & accommodate our request for a delayed start. We met her at the meeting point (near Cathedral) where she was already waiting and the tour started with an interesting story about Seville (meet Alba to hear it :D). We then walked to the exit area of Alcazar where Alba told us about the history of the patio & orange trees. Our walk continued through Jewish quarters, park, tobacco factory and ended at Plaza de España. Alba came across as a knowledgeable & a good storyteller; she was happy to share Seville's history with interesting stories. We recommend the tour with Alba to start the trip in Seville.

Alba was our Seville Kickstart Guide. She was awesome. She was punctual, pleasant and professional. She provided insights on history, local customs, and what to see and do during our stay. We book the tour last minute, the guide showed up on time and gave us a fantastic tour. It's a great way to get familiar with the city and know the history, which made the trip more memorable.

An okay orientation to the area. Not sure I would do this type of tour again - probably best to just dive into a direct tour and research the areas independently.
