We toured the Alcazar and Giralda with Ricardo through ‘Not Just a Tourist’. His explanation of the history was fascinating, and it was so interesting to hear how we were standing in the city and buildings where the history of the Americas started from. He was insightful and very intelligent, and interesting. He was not dry and boring but brought history to life. Thank you for a great tour, Ricardo!

It was our first time using Not Just a Tourist and it was fantastic! I found them with a search and messaged about what we wanted. They were prompt to respond and answered all of our questions. We used this company for 3 services and they were all fantastic. On our first day in Seville we met Guille for a 2 hour Walking Tour. It was an excellent way to see an overview of the city and get oriented. Guille showed us all of the highlights. He pointed out all of the places we should spend more time in and a few off the beaten path suggestions as well. He also leads tapas tours so told us about a few of his favorites places to eat in the neighborhood where we were staying. He was spot on and had one of the best tapas of the trip! This is exactly what you should book if you want get a feel for the city to map out your plan for the rest of your time in Seville. Thank you NJAT team!
This was a perfect way to start or stay in Sevilla! Our guide Sara was great and very knowledgeable. The pace was perfect
Sara took us on a delightful tour of Sevilla. She has an amazing knowledge of the city of Sevilla along with information about Spanish history and culture. This was the perfect way to start our visit in Sevilla
Oscar was well informed very interesting spoke well and clearly, explained the history of Seville very well and was a very easy and pleasant guide
Luna was absolutely fantastic! Her deep knowledge and passion truly brought the tour to life. She shared both the historical and mythological sides of Seville’s story, making the experience not only informative but also engaging and memorable. Luna also made sure to point out great spots for photos, which was much appreciated. Even though we spent extra time at Plaza de España, ending the tour 20 minutes late, she never rushed us and allowed us to fully enjoy the moment. Her dedication and enthusiasm made the tour unforgettable!
We had a fantastic walking tour with Guille. It was extremely informative and lots of fun! Great way to discover Seville and learn some of its amazing history! definately recommend this tour and Guille was awesome 🙌🇪🇸
Guille was so fun and personable! He was a story teller and told us many local stories and legends. The tour was a thorough look at the city he knows well since he was raised here:)
Oscar was excellent! Knew his stuff and held a fun and interesting conversation. And the tapas were good, I was stuffed by the end.
Enjoyable walk through neighborhoods of Seville. Oscar was very knowledgeable and approachable along the way. Enjoyed the Mercado Tirana (market) and site of 1929 World Fair.
We had an amazing time with Nico. We did a private tour for our family of 5 and Nico did a great job connecting with everyone and keeping us all entertained. He not only knows everything about Seville, but he also knew everything about the history of Spain, fun little anecdotes and the different religions that influenced the region. He’s also a flamenco dancer so we even learned a lot about flamenco. Even our teen aged kids said they thought the tour was total worth it, and they hardly say that about anything.
I met my wonderful Russian guide Sasha outside the Town Hall at Plaza Nueva and little did I know what a treat was in store for me! This was a private tour so I had Sasha all to myself and we set off exploring the Sevillian sights together. Sasha is the perfect guide because not only is she very knowledge about the history of Seville, she's fun, interesting and extremely patient. A few tourists stopped her along the route asking her to take a photo and she did so willingly with a smile on her face. She filled me in on all the historical details I had missed on an earlier Get Your Guide tour of Seville Cathedral & the Giralda. For e.g. she pointed out the Latin writing on one of the cathedral walls and the Roman statues in Santa Cruz. She also went out of her way to point out a cute little shop to buy Spanish 'caramelos' which I would not have found on my own. It was a very hot day and I suggested we stop for a drink so she brought me to this beautiful café along the way where we drank some refreshing cocktails. Last stop was Plaza de Espana where she offered to take a selfie of the two of us! I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely Sasha's convivial company. It was a wonderful way to end my short break to Seville and I hope we meet again on my next visit!
Abby was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She spoke very good English and was very informative and pleasant to be with for two hours. She told great stories of the places we saw and she was able to navigate our tour so that we ended at Plaza de Espana which we wanted to spend some time at. I would definitely recommend Abby as your guide.
Our guide Abby was wonderful! So kind, informative, professional, attentive. She spoke beautiful English and told us many interesting pieces of information, giving background to what we were seeing. Things we would never have known. She kept a good pace for us, not too fast or too slow. She has a delightful sense of humor! She also pointed out her favorite shops and restaurants for us to return to on our own. This made the tour personal, which added a nice touch.
We did a walking tour of Seville with Abby and loved it! She was very knowledgable about the history of Seville, but also fun. We enjoyed every minute of it! We talked about so many topics that I felt like we were friends by the end! I highly recommend Not Just a Tourist!
We were just 2 of us on the tour with Carlos. It was excellent way for introduction to Seville. Lot of history explained in 2 hrs
Abbey took us through Seville and told us stories about the places we were in! Told us a nice lunch stop we went to after. IMPORTANT check your e-mails before the tour! They sent me many email confirmations with useful information which I never read until the last minute!
Carlos was the best! Not only did he show up the beautiful sites of Seville, he was a lot of fun! Excellent tour!
What a great walking tour in Sevilla. Angela walked with us and explained everything from the architecture, history, culture, and famous legends. It was an experience that we will cherish. We loved every minute. At the end of the tour she pointed us to a ceramic store in Trina where we bought the best ceramic ever!!! Thank you for a day we will never forget. We will definitely use your tour company again!
This tour was wonderful and so worth doing! This is a great introduction to historic Seville, a big help to get your bearings as to where everything is and a wonderful learning experience! I was lucky with a beautiful sunny day so bring layers and since you cover a lot of ground, bring good walking shoes. Thanks to Felippe my guide, considering he had injured himself and was walking with a crutch he just kept on going.
If you are lucky enough to find Not Just a Tourist, then you must be a very special person... this is the magical company that will open your eyes to the most special tours with the most special people. We took two tours with Not Just a Tourist. The first one was a rooftop tour that took us to amazing (AMAZING) rooftops in Sevilla, Espana. I so wish I was there right now. Our tour guide was cool, it was just me and my husband, we got a private view of so many cool places. The second tour was to Tangier!!! Yes. My husband and I were in Sevilla and wanted to go to Morocco badly. We found out that we could go with Not Just a Tourist and even though it was next day... they figured it out. I can't tell you what a life changing experience this tour (well, both tours), were. I am a different person from these tours. The owners are magical and have so many incredible stories. I felt safe, cared for, and introduced to places that the tourists... weren't. Thank you SO much to Not Just a Tourist!! Thank you, so much from our hearts :)
Davy is an excellent guide because he is passionate about the city, and I posed him the challenge of making me fall in love with Seville and he succeeded. He was not only knowledgeable about the sites that we walked by, but was able to answer any one of my questions and add on extra interesting facts and tidbits which is the sign of a truly gifted guide. His enthusiasm is contagious and he is an essential for experiencing the true Sevilla. Thank you so much, for such a special tour.
This is a terrific way to see Seville. Both of our guides (Alba and Juanjo) were fluent in English, engaging and knowledgeable. We did spend two hours with each guide and they made a big difference in the quality of the experience!
The company suggested we take the tour at night to coincide with the sunset which was a great choice. Fillipo was a very knowledgeable guide who was flexible to what we wanted to see and hear. He was able to answer all our questions and give us a lot of very interesting information about the history of the city. I would highly recommend this walking tour not only to get a local perspective on the city of Sevilla, but also it’s historical impact on a the world as we know it today!
We had a great walking tour with Jesús. He was super friendly and informative. Definitely would do it again.
Our first of two tours with Alba during our stay in Sevilla. Alba was extremely friendly, prompt, and super knowledgable. She is a book of knowledge and genuinely wants you to understand the history and beauty of the city. It was great spending an afternoon with Alba! A+!
Today a beautiful walk through Seville. Abby our guide knew a lot and was wonderfully relaxed. This is the best way to get to know Seville, a little bit then. The three of us, relaxed talking and walking. She spoke English very well, by the way. Abby, thanks!
