This review is for our touring company called “Not Just A Tourist” and it’s for our tour from Seville to Tangier. Fernando picked us up near our hotel and we made our trek to Tangier, passing many cities along the way until we arrived at the port in Tarifa. Fernando is bilingual (English and Spanish) and was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area. He explained how the process would work and whom we would meet in Tangier. Once we crossed the continent and arrived in Tangier, we met with Sharif who welcomed us with open arms. Sharif was by far the best walking tour guide we've ever had. He was born and raised in Tangier and everyone e seemed to know him. He showed us parts of the city that we never would've found or gone on our own. From small and narrow alleys (bazaars) to the best local diners. Thank you Sharif for making our Moroccan experience a memorable one. And thank you Fernando for making our 2 hour scenic drive (each way) a fun, informative and pleasant one. This tour company and their staff delivered the experience we were looking for.

Guille was a fantastic guide, highly knowledgeable and really knew his food. We had a wonderful time and the food was exceptional. Highly recommend for all foodies, We will remember this experience for a very long time, Thank you so much Guille.
We took the Off The Beaten Path Tapas Tour and our guide, Guille, provided us with a fantastic evening. He did a great job of mixing history, culture, and food & drinks through the tour. He ordered his favorites and recommendations, ensuring our tastes and preferences were taken into account. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better night full of great food, interesting area highlights, and best of all the hospitality of our host and guide. If you’re lucky enough to book a tour with Guille, you’ll have a very enjoyable experience.
The guide for this trip did not show up. We left our morning tour early to get there on time, skipping the Seville cathedral and taking a cab across town to make it in time for the tour. We were there five minutes early waited 30 minutes and no one ever showed. We made phone calls, we wrote texts and emails. Never heard anything for four hours. We got no cancellation notice. We got no explanation. We got no excuses. They just didn't show up despite our confirmation. In my business, if you don't show up for work -you get fired.
Wow.WOW. We turned up and unknowingly to me, and I booked, it was a personal tour. So just 2 of us and the guild. She took us to all her favourite hot spots in Seville. These restaurants were all off the beaten track and were the locals eat. The guild has lived and worked in Seville for 9 years, so knew the area very well. We tried food we would never of ordered off a menu. We like and know food but some of the tapas we tried was unreal. This was an AMAZING tour. 100% book this when you come. The guild was lovely and friendy .. a must for food lovers 😋
Definitely one of the best food tours I've done. Oscar did a great job. I don't have any food restrictions and love it when a guide can take me off the beaten track without holding back. He is kniws a lot about food. We had Amazing food, conversation and history. I definitely recommend.
We had a great night touring Seville’s tapas bars. Our guide Oscar took us to some great bars which we would never have found without Oscar’s local knowledge. Oscar introduced us to dishes we may not have normally considered in addition to some classic tapas from the region. Oscar is passionate about food and local culture and is an entertaining guide. We would definitely book again.
Robert was a perfect match for us, as a tour guide! He spoke perfect English, which was great for us, to understand, since we are from the USA! He was a wealth of knowledge of Seville day-to-day culture, history, traditions, and hidden treasures.
I did the off the beaten path tapas tour near Alameda de Hercules. Abby was a great and fun guide, giving cultural and historical info as we went to different places. She showed me great new tapas dishes both traditional and modern that I would not have discovered otherwise
The Triana tapas tour was so much fun. The selections of restaurants and also the food were excellent. Abby’s stories about the history of Seville and her own personal experiences made it feel as if we were walking around with a very knowledgeable and charming friend. Highly recommend!
My daughter and I had such a special time with Abbie. it was one of those magical evenings that we will always remember. The food was delicious, the restaurants she took us to were authentic and friendly , and she was just such a delightful person. I cannot recommend this opportunity or Abbie high enough!!!
Abby was our guide for this very private and enjoyable tour. My wife and I didn't know what to expect when we booked the tour, but we had an absolute blast. We spent the evening eating delicious food, having great drinks, and getting a great feel for the tapas scene in Seville. I wholeheartedly recommend!
We very much enjoyed Abby’s friendly and informative tour. Very refreshing. We visited the poorer areas which are now experiencing greater prosperity and Abby explained the message behind some of the graffiti. Even took us to a local cafe!!
Nico was our guide for this tour (and also Seville from the Rooftops). He was very knowledgeable about Seville and passionate about the city. We met in an out of the way part of the city that we probably wouldn't have visited without a guide. He told us about the surrounding areas and the history, and ordered us a selection of tasty tapas in various bodegas to enjoy while we chatted. It was a great way to find out what we liked so we could order more knowledgeably on our own. Nico is a flamenco dancer so he also told us a lot about flamenco which was also really interesting. Such a great way to spend an evening - I would highly recommend.
Abby was an amazing tour guide, when we arrived at some restaurants that were less than friendly she maintained her professionalism and smoothed things out so that our family still left feeling like we had the best experience. Abby left us with great recommendations of things outside of our tour for our remaining time. She was wonderful with all the age groups in our party with kids between 5 and 19 as well as the adults. We would recommend her as a guide and search her out for any return trips to Seville.
Abby went above and beyond on the tapas tour! We learned lots and had a very enjoyable time :) She is very passionate about what she does, which was reflected in the experience! We will definitely consider future tour options from Not Just A Tourist. Can’t wait to be back to Seville already!
We were a group of four. Abby was our guide. She was so personable and knowledgeable and great to listen to. She provided important and interesting historical information in addition to taking us for some great tapas. She has a wonderful vibe. I was sad when the tour was over.
The knowledge and information provided by Nico was excellent and very interesting and it was a private tour for just myself and my husband. The area we walked in Seville was very interesting and the tapas restaurants were not ones we would have chosen by ourselves as off the beaten track which was great. The food at the first two stops was great, however at the third stop the food was replicated (croquettes) in a different form and we would have liked to try something different, maybe some prawns or fish as it was by the fish market and a bit lighter as we were starting to feel full from the soup and croquettes , cheese and chorizo earlier. I know the budget was limited on what could be purchased but felt it could have covered a bit more. Otherwise very good.
We loved our food tour with Nico! We explored the Alameda area of Seville. Nico knew a lot about Seville and that area in particular. I had my two kids with me (17 and 19), he was so welcoming and easy to talk to, my kids loved his energy and easy going attitude. We are making it a habit to go on a food tour any time we travel out of the country, this was another great time!
Our guide was knowledge and entertaining as he lead us from tapas bar to tapas bar. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in local food, history and culture.
I had no idea how lucky I would be to have Nico to myself for my Sunday evening tapas tour in Triana. He was extremely knowledgeable, charming and truly interesting and passionate about this beautiful part of Spain. He took extreme care to make sure I was happy, and it’s an experience I’m not soon to forget. I only wish I could have seen him Flamenco dance!
My husband and I did the tapas tour around Seville/Triana, and it was wonderful. It was truly our favorite part of our trip. Juanfe was an amazing tour guide! He showed us all the local restaurants. He did a great job explaining the different tapas and local history. I would highly recommend this tour!
