The kayaking on the Guadalquivir was a fun respite from the usual (though fun) city visit activities. Our guide, Benoit, was friendly, responsive to the group’s interests in the city, and his love of the city was obvious and a pleasure to benefit from.

Lovely easy kayak tour. It doesn’t go very far on the river, but if you’re looking for an easy gentle row, this is for you!
Zero stars. Naturanda cancelled the tour via WhatsApp two minutes before departure. They had given no prior notice that this was a possibility. I was left sitting at the dock waiting alone.
We really enjoyed kayaking with our guide who was friendly and regularly checked on how we were doing. However, we were in the water probably for only around 75 minutes (vs the advertised 2 hrs) and the “tour” offered only limited insights into the riverside sights and often had to be prompted by questions.
I booked a 2hr kayak tour with this company Naturanda Tourismo Ambiental I was given the meeting point and time When I arrived there was no one there. It was a local kayaking club who had no idea about my booking. They didnt do tours One of the staff at the kayak club kindly rang the company as I didnt speak Spanish. She was told that the time and meeting point had been changed. I had not received any communication from the company regarding the change. The meeting point was quite some distance away and as I was on foot I would struggle to make the new time. I would not recommend this company as they are disorganised and dont communicate. I contacted Viator and they organised a refund. They were very good to deal with
I booked the kayaking tour to do with a friend as a birthday present for her whilst we were in Seville. The instructions on the booking were clear and easy to follow. We were only two on the tour but this wasn’t an issue. We had a great guide called Karlos. He was very knowledgeable, pointing out local points of interest and was very calm and easy to talk to. He even gave us some great recommendations of local places to eat and drink. Great guide. Would recommend a change of clothes, particularly bottom half as you do get quite damp in the kayak. We also saw some wildlife on the trip, including some turtles. It was a lovely experience.
How often do you get a great workout, stunning scenery, personal instruction AND a history lesson all at once? The Guadalquivir River kayaking adventure with Sevilla’s Club Deportivo Remo provided all those things, and our guide, Carlos, was the best: a champion kayaker himself, he was a patient instructor and enthusiastic historian and made it an excursion to remember.
Booked and paid for the tour but got a text the night before the trip to say as I was the only booking the trip would not go ahead.I was offered the chance to rebook and took up the offer. One of my alternative dates was accepted but once again on the night before the trip was again cancelled as I was the only booking.Hard to plan a holiday with this experience
Superb value. Really interesting to see the city from the river. Paddling both ways was easy as there is very little current/flow in the river.
Juanra was so knowledgeable and extremely friendly and made the experience memorable. He explained the buildings and history in manageable chunks. The time passed so quickly and we also got to see some of the nature.
We had an amazing time on the Seville kayaking tour. Very easy to find and accessible. Luis was our tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgable. Nothing was too much for him. Thank you luis for making our trip memorable would definitely recommend if you are looking to tour Seville and do some watersports at the same time.
Interesting and informative tour up and down the river. We went at a gentle pace and we’re able to take some breaks if needed. Amazing views and very helpful that it was in English. Highly recommend but be prepared to get a bit wet!
Our tour guide Rey was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is detailed and is a lovely way to explore this beautiful city. Rey delivered the tour to us in English and then repeated it all in Spanish for the rest of our group! His work was doubled and he did this with a smile. On the return trip he pointed out some turtles living along the bank - very special moment to see these basking in the sun. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the kayaking due to scheduling with family. However the staff stayed in contact and were great to work with
We had the best time on our kayaking trip. Miquel was brilliant and the scenery was stunning. Would definitely recommend
We enjoyed our kayak tour very much. Luis did a good job warming us up and getting us out on the river. The information he shared was good but not extensive. Nice to do something active and see the serious rowers on the river. Really more like a 2 hour tour maximum, but that was plenty. Thanks!
The trip started a half hour late because other people didn’t show up on time. They had already changed the time on the tour the day before, which was an inconvenience. Guide could have been more interested, and could have provided more information.
Great trip today, had a lot of fun. Kayaks are really easy to handle. Sunscreen and Sunglasses are a must-have!
This was a shambles from start to finish! Firstly this WAS NOT the experience we had booked.. it was changed via WhatsApp message the night before! So we had no time to get a full refund.. instead of the meeting place being 10 mins walking from Seville centre, it was changed to an hour away! We had to get a cab that cost us £20.. we were meant to see Seville from the river instead we saw grass and graffiti and 2 bridges, it was BAD.. the experience didn’t last the 2hours as some of the other participants didn’t want to carry on so the guide (Pedro) said we needed to all go back! 2 USA girls didn’t even have water to drink he asked if anyone wanted any and just came back with his own! They also only had about 4 double kayaks, the 2 USA girls had to kayak on their own! If I was there parents I would be fuming.. In fact I think the parents refused to get on the river! I will be wanting a full refund On the basis that this was not the tour we had booked!
Told day before the location had moved (after the 24hr cancellation period had ended) that we had to move up river (away from the sights - the whole point in us paying for the trip). We arrived and there were not 2-man canoes for our party available. Our kids had to use individual kayaks. The instructor Pedro directed that we put the most experienced canoeist in front which was a complete disaster. Half our party turned back after half an hour, the rest saw grass banks and graffiti-filled bridges. They turned back after the third bridge and did not see any of the beautiful sights of Seville. It was over 100 degrees in temps, the instructor asked our kids if they had water, then fetched himself a bottle before he set off. Absolutely a terrible experience. The rental team ( not affiliated with the company) even offered us water, drinks, another boat, they were great. If you do this trip - make sure you insist you will be near the bridges of Triana and The Alkazar - otherwise don't do it! Unless you want to spend over $100 for a two-hour work out in blazing hot sun with a terrible instructor who clearly cannot read a room, does not care about the people he is with and doesn't know the basics of canoeing. We will be asking for our money back! Never write reviews.
This was such a fun experience! I was really (really) bad at kayaking but the guide was super supportive and helpful. He gave the tour in both Spanish and English, and was very fun.
The private Kayak tour was amazing. It was a great experience. We were able to go at our own pace, relax and enjoy the views. Our tour guide Juan was amazing also, very informative and fun to talk with! Would highly recommend!
Our guide Phil (Italian guy) was excellent! Highly recommend him, he was knowledgeable about the area and gave great tips on where to go after. Kayaking was great fun and a good way to enjoy the afternoon.
Had an excellent time seeing the sights of Seville with a top class tour guide Manuel! He was so informative, friendly and patient. Would 10/10 recommend :D
It was great experience. Seeing the city from different angle. Damiana was a great guide. Sharing stories about the city.
The kayaking itself and the views are amazing. However, we left like we didn’t receive instructions. As a beginner in kayaking, we were frequently behind the group and needed explanations of basic how-to’s.
Patri was a great guide! We saw all the sights along the river and even some turtles. Definitely recommend!
Our 2-hours kajaking tour on Seville's river Guadalquivir with our guide Catherine was perfect! Punctual, well-informed, entertaining, super-friendly & fluent in English, French & Spanish. It was only the 3 of us so our guide adapted her pace to ours and you don't need to worry about Covid-19. Highly recommend! Makes sense to book the tour in the morning because there would be mosquitos in the night.
We had a great experience. Our kids (8 and 10) enjoyed it, being that it was their first time. The tour guide was very nice and friendly.
We went on a kajak tour and it was awesome! Our guide Peter was so good to guid us and explain and tell the highlights of Sevilla! Very sweet!
Peter, our guide, was incredibly knowledge. I speak Spanish but my partner doesn’t, so it was nice that he gave me time to interpret or came over to us individually to explain the history in English, so my partner didn’t miss out. We paddled just short of 3.5km and learned a lot about the city. Remember your sun cream and a change of clothes!
Peter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The trip was really enjoyable and nice & cool on the water - a good activity for the summer! This was a good amount of time and not too strenuous.
Had a great time kayaking, we were the only ones there on the day so it was nice and quiet. Our guide Patricia was very kind and informative of all the locations. Was my favourite activity of the week, would definitely go again!
Great trip given to us by Carlos. He's very knowledgeable about the history of the city and of the buildings we could see from the Kayak. It was a great inducting introduction to Seville for us. He was also very patient with us as we were a bit slow! Full marks to Carlos! Thank you.
Wonderful trip up the Guidalquivir River in 2 man kayaks.Flavio our guide was very helpful and made the trip enjoyable.
Guide (Carlos) was very knowledgeable and patient with the group, particularly when our kayak began to fill quite heavily with water (not his fault tbf). This was quickly remedied and we got on with the tour. Kayaking fun too, bring spare clothes and flip flops.
Too little kayaking, too much waiting. The kayaks were bad and the guide could barely speak English.
You get what it says on the box. We ended up cutting it a bit short because the kayaks weren't the most comfortable to sit in for long periods, but other than that it was really nice. Your feet and bum will get wet so bring a change of clothes. Also worth noting that 2.5 hours is a long time to be paddling, so try to pace yourself and take breaks when you need them. The guide is very accommodating.
The kayak tour was good fun, and the guide was knowledgable, friendly and helpful. What you should know and prepare yourself for: during paddling water will get into your kayak and your bottom and legs will get quite wet, so bring extra clothes AND underwear to change into after your trip. You need to be reasonably fit and strong, as you will have to carry your kayak from the shop down to the river bank and back up after. The kayak will have taken water on after the trip and will be heavy. Don't let that put you off though. I am a woman over 50 and managed it :) Oh and look out for turtles along the river!
I booked a kayak-tour in Sevilla as part of my trip in Andalusia. It was a great experience with Alex, a French guide very interesting and friendly. I would hardly recommend to book a kayak-tour with Naturanda. By the way, this travel tour activities proposes lots of activities in Andalusia. Don’t hesitate to contact them!
On the occasion of the stay of one of our French school groups, we managed with you the activities carried out on July 8, 9, and 10, 2026, through Eix Estels (Barcelona). The program included a visit to Isla Mágica + Agua Mágica, the kayak excursion on the Guadalquivir River, and the regular boat excursion to La Cartuja Island. We would like to convey our satisfaction with the development of all the services. The organization was correct, the scheduled times were met, and the activities took place as planned. Both the teachers and the students were very satisfied with the experience and the treatment received. As a sole suggestion for improvement, we would appreciate it if, for future collaborations, especially for the regular boat excursion, we could have a voucher or ticket with a more detailed and professional presentation. This would allow us to offer higher quality documentation to our clients and improve their experience from the moment the information is provided. Otherwise, the assessment is very positive. We hope to continue counting on you for future collaborations and to continue offering this type of experience to our groups. Best regards. Claudia Puente Eix Estels
We saw a lot of animals (turtles, fish, ducks, geese) and the guides told a lot of interesting things about the city and the river. They also took pictures of the tour so you didn't have to take your phone with you. It was also pleasant that we were among ourselves. Not a huge group.
Il n’y a pas eu d’expérience vu que notre guide n’est jamais venu. Je suis très déçu car c’était un cadeau
Very good experience! As for the treatment of the monitor Lola, a charm, at all times pending and explaining the whole history of Seville with great enthusiasm. Experience highly recommended.
Led by enthusiastic Guide Catharina made a fun trip on the river. Along the way she told interesting facts about beautiful Seville
Pleasant kayak ride along the Canal de Alfonso XIII, which not Guadalquivir, as well explained by the instructor, Antonio Javier. We saw Magellan's boat, and a video of it sinking. Highly recommended.
An excellent visit with Rey and Julián. A duo that complement each other great and are very nice. Nice and fantastic guides. From 10.
Very entertaining activity and although I live in Seville I would have appreciated tourist information about what was seen from the river.
Wonderfully refreshing. Interesting guide who showed us a bit of Seville in a surprisingly original way. Good facilities for changing clothes. Good instructions about the technique, safe guidance (with warming up and stretching!)
We found it fun, relaxing and also enjoyed beautiful views. The boy who accompanied us on the tour was very nice and gave us some explanations. All very well. We recommend it 100%
