My wife and I did the Alcázar and Cathedral tour in Seville on a beautiful day. It ran for a few hours with about 20 of us following on headsets. The guide made it. She was funny, light-hearted and self-deprecating, and extremely knowledgeable. She told stories rather than reciting facts, and she turned what could have been a dry history lesson into something engaging from start to finish. The sights matched her. The Alcázar is huge and beautiful, and you can see the different cultures that shaped it coming together. The Cathedral is enormous, and it's hard to take in the scale of it or the intricacy of the interior. The guide was called something like Guadeloupe although that seems unlikely as her actual name! I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seville.

Outstanding experience. Our guide Laura was an encyclopaedia of information and was able to answer all questions with detail. 80meter steep walk up to the bell tower where you have amazing 360 deg views of Sevilla. The palace and history together with the fact that it is still used today by the King on certain occasions made it even more interesting. Plenty original walls, decorative ceilings and more. Beautiful gardens. Highly recommended this tour to anyone from any religion. The history is fascinating and you get to see what is called the 5th tomb of Christopher Columbus as well as his son.

If you are in Seville, you have to see the Cathedral and Royal Alcazar, and this tour is a GREAT way to do that. I strongly recommend it! Our guide, Guadeloupe, was fabulous!! Extremely enthusiastic and entertaining, and very informative - she was one of the highlights of the tour.

We booked a private tour of the Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar. We were fortunate to have Elena assigned as our guide. She was incredible! A native of Seville, she knows the city very well. We learned so many historical facts and interesting information from her. She also made some interesting suggestions for other things to do in Seville beyond the big tourist attractions. If you book a private guide through Crown Tours, be sure to request Elena.

Considering the value charged, the tour was too short. I wouldn't recommend it. The guide explained to us all about the main areas, which lasted about 30 minutes and after that we were invited to explore the other areas and gardens on our own.
