The views driving through the countryside were beautiful and our guide explained about the agriculture and geography we were seeing. Ronda is a spectacular mountain city full of history, museums, gardens, restaurants and tapas bars. Our guide was the best yet, giving you time to take pictures and enjoy the city. He made this a truly special trip, focusing on the things we were most interested in seeing. FJ Sanchez was extremely knowledgeable in the history, culture and cuisine of Andalusia and made our experience a memorable one. Excellent English, comfortable vehicle with air conditioning, and warm hospitality.

What a fabulous trip. Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable and so thoughtful in the way he planned and executed our itinerary for the day. Just a fabulous experience!!
We just returned from our day trip from Seville to Ronda with Francisco and had the best time. Francisco was a great guide and he let us have full control over what we wanted to do with our day, but also ensured we had time to see the best sights without rushing us. We saw the best views in Ronda and had an amazing lunch at a local tapas place thanks to Francisco’s knowledge of the area! We also visited Sentinel de las Bodegas on the way home which was a beautiful place to see. Would 100% recommend this trip for those who are in Seville and wanting to visit Ronda. Thanks again Francisco (and thanks for the sweets!) Emily & Sonny :)
"My day trip to Ronda and the White Villages with Alberto and Benoit was simply unforgettable. Their deep knowledge and passion for the region brought the stunning landscapes and rich history to life. From the breath-taking views of Ronda to the charming, white-washed villages, every moment was a photographer's dream. Plus, Alberto and Benoit ensured everything was on time and very well-organized. Can't recommend this tour enough!"
We had a great day with Dustin. Ronda was a fascinating place with great views, architecture and history. Also the town of Setenil de las Bodegas was interesting with the buildings built under the rocks.
A must do tour if you’re in Seville. Ronda is a pretty little town with breathtaking scenery. The enjoyment of the tour was compounded by our guide Miguel. He was knowledgeable about the town itself, the region and Spanish history in general. The white villages were the icing on the cake. Gracias Miguel for a wonderful tour!!
We had a great time and learned a lot. The tour was perfect for our family which spanned young-teen-middle age. It was more intimate than a large group. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We highly recommend this group for tours in Andalusia.
Our guide !Miguel! Was professional, he has excellent knowledge and most important he understood our preferences during the long but very productive tour. Ronda and Setenil are two towns that everybody should visit , those towns and the tour visits are amazing natural wonders , our guide Miguel presented to us all the steps of their history.
Ronda and Setenil de las Bpdegas are two of the pubelo blancos in the Andalusian region of Spain we all really look forward to visit. We are not disappointed. From history, culture and food especially, we enjoyed all taking them in. We had a lot of time walking all around Ronda appreciating the sites and stories told by Miguel. Same with Setenil de las Bodegas, we scour the whole village with awe and wonder. The downside of this tour were as follows: We were never given an advanced notice that we will be sharing the tour with another group. Fortunately, the tram who joined us was also a family of four and they were a pleasant company. The van needs cleaning, although bearable. The tour agency have to keep it maintained and squeaky clean all the time for the tour experience to be favorable at gorst impression. Over all it was a satisfying trip despite of the cons I mentioned.
Miguel was awesome! Knowledgeable, friendly - great guide. It was a fabulous day. It was like we had booked a private tour.
Luis was awesome. It was just my wife and I and we had the best guide. We saw all the places that were part of the tour, and Luis had great knowledge about the history.
This tour lived up to expectations plus more. Our guide Luis was very informative and adaptable to what we wanted to do. The smaller group size made it easier to adjust and accommodate. We saw the bridges, the bull ring and Arab baths enjoying stops for coffee, lunch and at the white villages, afternoon tea. I’m never sure about full day tours with my family but this one was loved by everyone and a highlight of our visit to Seville. My recommendation if you’re reading this is to boom it now!
First impressions are lasting ---- when my husband and I were loaded into a filthy beat up and smelly van, it was disgusting, no other way to describe it - it was uncomfortable and very noisy so even if our guide wanted to educate us on the areas we were driving through we couldn't hear a word he was saying over the rattle of his dilapidated van. Luis was a very nice guy - but he was short on providing the historic highlights of Ronda. We toured the Bull Ring on our own -thank goodness for the audio guide and we were left to explore the bath area of Ronda alone -there was an informative movie that provided a history of the creation of the baths in Ronda. The guide, a Seville native did not time our lunch experience well ( he knew when folks in Ronda take lunch) and he walked us into a situation where there was no availability ANYWHERE for lunch. We did end up in a little spot that took close to an hour to get food served - I mention this because we expected our guide to create the experience so we could enjoy it. And let me be clear - Ronda on it's own merit is a must see- it is a masterpiece of structure that is utterly gorgeous - and we are glad we were able to go there. Again, our guide , is s great guy, however we would have enjoyed more content on the history of the beautiful Ronda.
I first saw the pictures of the magnificent Puente Nuevo in Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas from computer wallpapers, and I knew then that I had to visit the places. The "Ronda and White Villages Day Tour from Seville" made it happen. The actual towns and landmark sights were even more amazing than the pictures! Alfonso, our tour guide, who was also the driver and obliging photographer, was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Although this was supposed to be a small group tour, my husband and I ended up being the only ones who had booked, and we were surprised and grateful that our booking was not cancelled! Alfonso, took us to so many other interesting places, including the Plaza de Toros and Arab Baths, and when asked, he recommended the best place to eat! The food was great and the view was fantastic! We did not stop at commercial places or watch demonstrations, where one usually has to make an obligatory purchase and burn a lot of time. My husband and I are so happy and thankful that Alfonso took good care of us the whole wonderful, memorable time and made it an awesome tour!
Nice and pleasant trip with good weather =) The views of Ronda and Setenil are stunning. Wish could stay overnight there next time to explore more spots around.
We had a great time spending the day with Alfonso. The tour says "small group", but nobody else booked it on this particular day, so it ended up being a private tour for the two of us - even better. Although it is a long drive, we felt like we had all the time we needed to see everything in Ronda and in Setenil de las Bodegas without feeling rushed. Of course it was spectacular. Alfonso also helped us get a table at a nice place for lunch and recommended some local foods for us to try.
The tour had to be be consolidated they did not had enough people on the day I had schedule; but I truly appreciate Idelfonso the tour operator been quick on let me know and accommodate to make trip possible; overall was good ; good explanation as we went by; show us some very interesting spots; it was worth it; will recommend
Seeing Ronda was great, having someone drive us too and from was great. It was a long day though, more time driving than seeing. Alfonso was personable though distracted. Next time would probably rent car and drive from Seville ourselves and then spend night in Ronda allowing more time for exploring the area. Was good as a scouting expedition though.
we had a fantastic tour with Alfonzo. He was charming and informative. He made the trip personal to us and not only showed us Ronda, he took us to a very authentic restaurant and helped us shop for wine. On our return we stopped at another gorgeous White village in the mountains for some coffee and treats. A very good value excursion.
Having every details explained by a guide with great knowledge of the area and love for the place was incredible.
The tour was good and alfonso was really supportive throughout the tour. Had a great time at Ronda and Zahara white villages.
The tour guide was awesome however this is not the tour I paid for. It did not include the tickets to choose in Ronda neither did it include a stop in Sentinel De La Bodega. Was charged 3 times more than the actual cost of this tour which we we told is $79 and instead I paid $249 for 2 people. Asking for partial refund to compensate the difference
This tour was good in theory, getting out of Sevilla without renting a car and navigating ourselves was what we were looking for. The problem was that it was almost all time spent in the bus. It sounded like we would get to a place and have lots of free time and then go to the next place. It turned out to be that when we arrived at the first stop, the olive mill, we were all herded into a small space to hear about the process and then and even smaller space to watch a movie and taste a sample and buy stuff. Then we boarded the bus and headed to next stop. At this stop we had 35 minutes of free time. This did not allow you time to actually explore much because you couldn’t go too far from meeting point since you had to be back so soon. The next stop we had lunch. The lunch took so long that we had 15 minutes to walk around after we ate. It was very upsetting to have no time to see what we came to see. The last stop was Ronda. Here we had about an hour and a half to explore. Although this was longer we would have still liked to have had more time. To improve this, they should just take you to one of the white towns, skip the olive mill and then go to Ronda. This would split the day between only two destinations, giving more time for both and less bus time. We would not do this tour again.
Alfonso was a knowledgeable guide and very courteous. We very lucky to be the only ones on the tour so he took his time throughout extending our tour time an addl hour.
PROS: we had a skilful driver to ride us through the mountain serpentine CONS: 1. Absolutely outstanding - the meeting point was set at an 'unknown' place with NO sign of the tour, at the house number that looked like being ready for demolition and nobody around recalled any excursion from this place. We looked up for this place for 30 min. We believe that since Viator officially provides such remote meeting place, Viator is due to make all necessary arrangements. 2. The driver was a good guy and he could connect a couple words in English, yes, but we expected real historical stories. 3. In Ronda, he offered 2-3 places to visit. I know that Viator offers similar tour with 4 stops (including White Villages) for 1.5 less money and we'd selected this tour because of offered ~17 stops. Provided service was inadequate to the cost paid. Again, Viator should instruct the guide which tours he/she has to provide. 4. To be fair, In Ronda, the guide proposed a very interesting local Christian Church as an alternative to visiting a tunnel with a very long 'ledger' (which was in the programme).
The tour was nice - pleasant and smooth. Our English guide, Pedro, was very friendly, talkative and informative. We chose the first pick-up point which was Naturanda Tourist Information Center, a big tour bus picked us up, and after that the journey was very smooth.
I was so grossed out by the filthy car I almost just walked away. The outside looked awful but inside was worse, with dirt and left over debris all over the floors. The seats at least were better. The ride was extremely bumpy because the car wasn't maintained. The guide was really more just a driver. He did little to explain the towns and his English was really rough. . .he tried to find different expressions when we didn't understand. . . he was nice enough, certainly, and really tried to be helpful for the most part. It was pouring rain all day, and though he had two umbrellas in the car, he didn't seem to realize it until halfway through the tour. . .even telling us at one point he was sorry but he didn't have umbrellas. His personal appearance was very shabby with pants ripped in the seat in the back (not in a good way like the ripped jeans everyone pays for now); he wasn't neat and clean as were all other guides we had. I can't believe Viator interviewed him, saw this car and accepted him and the car to represent their company. We had two other Viator tours on our trip and both were wonderful. Frankly, I feel we deserve our money back for this trip.
I did with 2 friends the excursion to Ronda and Pueblos Blancos. Excellent guide Luismi! Very correct, friendly, attentive and giving explanations throughout the tour, crossing information about the geography, flora and fauna with part of the history of such peculiar and wonderful region. Thanks to Luis Miguel and Manuel (the driver, who drove with agility and prudence).
A beleza natural das montanhas, e a Arquitetura da cidade é algo que chama a atenção; Zahara, por sua vez é magnifica.
Very nice little, family tour with Alfonso. Alfonso led us through Ronda and Zahara de la Sierra with a lot of historical background. Alfonso has responded to our individual wishes without any circumstances. Great tour, great guide. We really enjoyed the day! Silke, Mirjana and Manuela
Excellent guide, very friendly and helpful.explained the story very well and took us to the main important historical points. 100% recommended
